Cats are animals that you can learn a lot from.
Sometimes, they’re a little too lazy, and a little stupid looking, but when they start moving, they run around with abandon.
Either passion or laziness, there’s no in-between! Cats look like they don’t believe in compromise.
Their characters are always so straightforward, and they feel like they are the best in the world, and maybe it’s because of this, they express their love or hate clearly.
Actually, I really envy these kind of cats.
In relationships, I can’t be this straightforward.
(I can’t speak up and say) when I’m hurt, or when I’m misunderstood by people,
If I had a cat’s straightforward personality, at least I won’t leave bad feelings behind.
The cat doesn’t seem to like me
No matter how hard I try, as long as he doesn’t like it, he won’t even take a second look.
As a pet, I don’t know if he is the worst,
But his straightforward expression of feelings, how he doesn’t get hurt, and how he loves,
are things I really want to learn.
(T/N: I tried to keep to the original (chinese) translation as far as possible, but some parts had to be tweaked to express it better. Thanks!)
Coming back to Korea after the Asia Showcase ended
Although we were tired physically, our moods were very good
Because we could use our songs to meet with our fans
Writing songs for the concert, although it was tiring,
But the sense of determination to sing our own songs, we had that feeling as well
Filled with the anticipation of being able to sing our new songs to everyone,
Even moments of eating, washing up, and brushing our teeth, doing such routine activities,
were emotional, and we felt really happy
Should I talk about love that I used to believe in?
Hmm what kind of love is it

He’s been told all his life: “Try harder”, “Do your best”, “If you work hard you can do it.” None of that works with a cat. It’s not about trying hard, it’s about paying attention and respect. About letting go, leaving alone, and waiting. I think Jiji-sensei is very good for him.
love his writings esp about the cat. i think he can be a good writer 🙂
