I’m italian and I know pretty decent french (my region is bilingual), english and some words of german (that I studied in school soooo many years ago…).
I can manage a little conversation in spanish, say something in portoguese, I’ve tried to understand chinese, but it’s beyond my limits (there are sounds so different from italian) and now I’m studying japanese and korean all by myself. But here in Italy I can’t really find a korean grammar or dictionary, damn! I have to thank the Web for improving!
P.S. I can say “thank you”, “I love you” and “My name is…” in almost 10 languages. Ah ah ah 😉
