Singer Kan Mi Youn recently expressed her disappointment in the ongoing dispute between KARA and their agency, DSP Media.
During an interview with Star News, the singer stated carefully, “It’s difficult for me to say anything as it is a sensitive problem, but I hope it gets solved.”
She continued, “It’s upsetting in itself that TVXQ is divided, so to see KARA in this situation, it’s really saddening.”
“To be honest, when you get to promote overseas, you become very envious of Hallyu stars like TVXQ. TVXQ was popular in China, Japan, Thailand, Philippines – in every Asian country. Just as a Korean singer like myself, it gave me pride.”
Kan Mi Youn concluded, “It’s upsetting that we’re not able to see these proud singers in action. To see that something similar has happened to KARA… the best thing is to maintain their current image. I hope this wraps up on a positive note. I want to keep seeing KARA actively promoting. I hope their problems resolve soon.”

Well Mi Youn shii, everyone is upset and tired too. You as outsider feel like that, imagine the fans and the boys themselves…I think it’s not the right time to voice any message like “it’s saddening or I’m upset” anymore…move on and I hope you can say “I wish them all the best, together or divided”…
agree….
Korean stars talked about this topic alot these days. I makes me wonder if they really care or just want to have a headline in a newspaper.
Hope the problem will be solve asap. I want to see both groups in their promotion.
life must go on,jyj had the right to choose their own futures, they have support from their fans all over the world.why i feel the negative sentence in her word?like jyj and kara shouldn’t had to did this lawsuit?like they emmbarassed hallyu face?i think it will more ashame if jyj or kara lose the lawsuit?isnt?@_______@im not korean but i will…?
Tell that to those unscrupulous companies like SM!!!!
THEY RUIN EVERYTHING! >_<
I kind of get the feeling for some of these people, not all, it’s like jumping on the bandwagon. Where were they when all this mess first started! If you can’t be there for the rough times, why bother coming forward when times are not looking so bad. Now, that so many positives are happening for JYJ, some of these folks just can’t wait to voice an opinion. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I can’t help it.
Call me jaded, but I also was skeptical of her “concern” for Kara and TVXQ. Not one phrase included “human rights” or “reform.” It seemed as if she was more concerned about KARA’s public image than their dissatisfaction with DSP.
A sincere supporter should commend their courage in fighting for what they believe in — reputation and lack of promotional activities be damned.
I think she’s more concern on how the show business or hallyu wave will fare with scandals like these. At least that’s what I’m getting from her.
I hope to see DBSK5 together, i miss them so much
