Hong said that YC and JS came for the physical exam. He’s not really interested in male idols, so it was so so for him to see them in the beginning. But as he observed YC and JS more, he realized that they were very kind and polite unlike other entertainers. They didn’t say no to people who asked for autographs and signed the autographs w/ a smile on their face. Also, they talked to other people around them. When they were finished w/the exam, they smiled and greeted every single staff members at the Administrations office. Hong added that they were also very funny.
Hong said he’s not a JYJ fan, but his stereotypes about entertainers were gone after meeting with JYJ. Hong said to YC, “You’re so kind unlike other entertainers”. Then YC said, “No, I’m not, hehe, thank you for your hard work.” Hong added later when YC and JS got in the car to leave, they even opened the window to greet people 1 last time and smile at everyone.
Hong concluded that JS and YC were not just popular celebrities but they had great personalities and wished them the best for their activities in the future.

Well, that’s why we love them. 😀 First I thought that it was somekind of PR stuff, saying that they are polite and humble but I needed to realise it must be true. Every one who meets them or met TVXQ5 during their years in the entertainment industry said the same thing. I think them going to Japan was the best thing that could happen to all five of them. They needed to learn how to thank for everything, to start from the bottom, to be humble and bow down. Their success in Korea came suddenly, the fame could have gotten to their head… So them staying in Japan as no-name entertainers came just in the right moment, after winning the daesang.
Umm… By the way…What about Jaejoong? Every article is talking about Junsu and Yoochun. Maybe he wasn’t there at all.
Jaejoong came in a week earlier.
These boys are humble and polite. Nothing we didn’t know before. 😀
It probably helped that yoo and su were together.
Yoosu tends to be more light & fun, thus the impression “they were also very funny.”
(soulmate together forms a more mature (more serious) pair, i feel)
@vik720
I’ve also thought jyj are quite PR-conscious, especially given their situation.
even if this is true, there’s nothing negative about it.
which celebrity is dense-headed enough to not know bad manners are disliked?
but how many of them care to act nicely?
yep, i also think that the low points in japan trained them well and maybe help them to not take anything for granted.
Tales of JYJ’s good manners are always a joy to read 🙂
agree.
happy to heard non-fan to see good thing about JYJ!
Every single person who meet them always praise them,
JYJ is the most polite artist, they are so humble, they start in japan from zero so that’s why they know how to appreciate what they have,
(takes mental notes on how to behave)
Cute.
humble and respect are seriously lacking in some well known artist given that they are famous. but with JYJ they seems to contradict all the stereotypes and thats why i love them dearly.
one of the reasons i love jyj is because they have great personalities…..even non-fan admit it..
I think we somewhat have to thank Lee So Man for this. He want to make TVXQ become perfect artist from their very first time, both in talent and personality.
He got it. But Mr. Lee is not perfect, that create problems.
LOL.. i like your comment
