Today C-Jes released articles that substantially read as follows:
Group JYJ held their first fan meeting with 7000 fans with great success.
JYJ met fans for the first time in 4 months since their concert last November on March 12th at Seoul Jamshil Indoor Stadium.
The three hour fanmeet was hosted by comedian Kim BumYoung. During the fanmeet, JYJ sang a total of 7 songs including “Empty” and “Be My Girl” from their worldwide album “The Beginning,” SGK Scandal’s “Found You,” and “Nine” and “Mission” from their Music Essay.
The fanmeeting was broken into two parts, including a 20 minute intermission. During a talk about their activities since JYJ’s first showcase last October, Junsu commented, “I was worried that I might not make it to today’s fanmeet, but I’m glad that the event was held without problems. Japan’s current situation is serious. JYJ hopes for safety of our fans in Japan.”
During the “Invitation of JYJ’s Guests” corner during the second part of the fanmeet, musical actress Shin YoungSook, group Cool’s Kim Sungsu, and Park Yuchun’s younger brother and rookie actor Park Yuhwan showed up on stage.
Kim Sungsu praised Jaejoong, saying “I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time with Jaejoong, but he is a friend with a pure soul.” When Park Yuhwan was asked which JYJ member he wanted to be like, he created laughter by answering “Jaejoong” and not his older brother.
Furthermore, during “Ideal Fan Worldcup,” JYJ picked “I’m a fan who simply trusts and waits” as their number one ideal fan. JYJ showed their thankfulness by stating, “I hope our fans will always trust us and wait for us, and we will repay you by trying even harder.”
During their opening song for part two, a large balloon popped showering happy fans with marshmallows, and as the fans left, candies were left at each exit for the fans to take. JYJ sang “Fallen Leaves” for their encore. And in the end, fans and JYJ shed tears together.
JYJ, after finishing the fan meeting, said: “We were sad that the 3 hours flew by. We were so thankful to the fans and it was a happy occasion that we will not forget. We derived great strength (from the event). It would be nice to make these kinds of opportunities often.”
C-Jes’s director Paek Changju said: “Due to those people who were concerned and put forth the effort, Kim Junsu was able to land in Korea safely to keep the promise of meeting his fans.” He also said “We wish that this fan meeting will remain an unforgettable memory from White Day. We plan to produce a DVD soon in order to provide yet another benefit to the members of the C-Jes Membership.”
@Spring_Breezes just had a phone conversation with C-Jes and the company told her that they are “examining (the potential release of a DVD) favorably.” It seems that the release may be yet to be confirmed. But cameras are said to have been at the Fan Meeting so it seems likely that C-Jes did take some kind of a recording.
Another wrinkle is that the articles such as above make it seem as if the DVD is available to only those who are a part of the C-Jes Membership…

Yes, We international fans support JYJ with all our hearts and would like the opportunity to have the DVD.
C-Jes should make a decision on weather to open membership to international fans. 🙂

C-JeS, you and JYJ will benefit so much more if you just sell this DVD to the general fanbase and not ppl with a membership y’know.
It’s not wise to hog a good thing.
Thats why they have membership.. they can get something WE cant. 😦 I guess its about exclusivity. I want to see it too, maybe they can release an edited version for us.

I just don’t get why the trade off of us seeing it on a DVD isn’t enough when the ppl with membership having the chance to see it live.
IDK, it’s bad enough we can’t even see fancams of it, but no way to see it at all?

Besides, the better the benefits, the more people will want to join.

I wouldn’t join if I was only able to see some pictures… but if they have exclusive merch, that is something else.
All fanclubs are pretty much the same. Concerts only for fanclub, merch only for fanclub… meeting only for fanclub. Yeah, I know is not a JYJ famclub but a C-jes membership, but is still the same work behind it
I just wish they open the membership for international fans too
How about they release it at cost price for international fans?
That way they get more exposure, They’re happy/int fans are happy/members are also happy since they got it for free?

I agree with paying cost price for a dvd. We international fans can’t join C-Jes so we can’t get any benefits. I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t want the international fans to be able to see the fan meeting. We International fans have done alot to help JYJ and it seems they are only concerned with Korean fans and it hurts me alot. I hope C-Jes isn’t going to do this just for the membership fans cuz they have fans all over the world and they wouldn’t mind paying for the dvd.
Y los fans que vivimos del otro lado del mundo? Las fans de JYJ trabajan incansablemente por ellos traduciendo al castellano e ingles lo que hacen o dicen, si sacan un DVD y es solo en coreano o ingles no será suficiente. Me parece que C-Jes debería revisar esta política y proponerse hacer un doblaje de los dvd,

Let’s just wait and see for further development, no need to unnecessary worries, there’s a reason for everything…
C-Jes is fully aware of all the I-fans wanting to be a member of the JYJ fan club. I suspect it’s going to happen sooner than later so just be a bit more patient 🙂
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is part of the international membership opening. Or if it’s not, it should be. BIG HINT, C-JES!

I would join the JYJ fanclub in a heartbeat if I could. Are there any problems in selling the DVD internationally, especially in Japan with the Avex thing not resolved?
