Earlier today, POWERHOUSE revealed two of JYJ’s concert stops to the delight of fans. The concert stops that were announced were Los Angeles, California, and Newark, New Jersey.
POWERHOUSE has now announced the remaining North American tour dates for JYJ. The stops have been revealed to be Vancouver, Canada; Newark, New Jersey; Los Angeles, California; San Jose, California.

This concert is a part of JYJ’s world tour project produced by C-Jes Entertainment and will be their first concert tour in the U.S. and Canada. Their tour is drawing huge attention around the globe, bringing in more than 20,000 fans to the recent concert in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is the first time that AEG LIVE, one of the largest concert promoters in the world, is hosting a major concert tour for an Asian artist in partnership with Powerhouse.
JYJ was formed in 2010 as a three-member band featuring JAEJOONG, YOOCHUN and JUNSU. JYJ released their global debut album ‘The Beginning’ in October 2010 and reached number 1 on the Japanese Oricon Chart in a sweeping pace.
JYJ’s concert tour will create an unimaginable experience and compelling atmosphere that fans from all over the world and of all ages can enjoy. Their fans will finally get a chance to witness JYJ’s grandeur debut in the U.S and Canada.
Official ticket sales will begin at NOON (PST) on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the designated online and offline outlets. Vancouver will have a separate on-sale date and time, which will be announced shortly.
Ticket prices are $180, $150, $120, $90, $70, and $40. Seating charts will be available for viewing soon. All details related to ticket purchasing will be announced following this release.
Koreaboo and POWERHOUSE have partnered up for the Lee Moon Sae and JYJ North American tour, and we will be covering all the stops.
Tickets will go on sale for the concerts on April 16th at 12:00AM PST.

Yea, doesn’t it? I’m under the impression that it does affect it to some degree. I mean I remember the November USA showcase prices being hella expensive (I mean really? 200 USD for 1 hour?! – But that can also be the cost of renting the venue too lol) and they didn’t really have sponsors for those events.
@ fleur ,the November USA showcase,we didn’t have to pay for the ticket ,because the VISA PROBLEM,and when it cames from that ,nobody could come out to be the sponsor …

I know. But before the Visa issue was announced, Ticketmaster/other venues was selling JYJ tix and from what I can remember it was very expensive ._.

but,when you paid $180.00 ,and you can watch them just few feet away ,with 6 songs and plus the time to do the talks with us ,it worths the money ,right…?and not all ticket was $180.00,remember ?

It was a 1 hour long showcase for lowest price tix at +150 USD (I think? Can’t remember). That’s really expensive if you compare it to normal US concert prices (and concerts go for 2 hours+ for 80-90 USD).
Also, let’s face it, JYJ is still relatively unknown in USA so how can they attract new fans with a live performance if the tickets are so expensive? O_O; As a consumer, I wouldn’t pay that much money to see a new act.
I mean compare it to this concert. Showcase for 1 hour for +150 USD as cheapest ticket versus a concert for 2 hours for 80 USD. If I had to budget and can only go to one, I’d rather go to the concert – cheaper with greater value and I can actually bring another person with me! So yah, I’m very glad the ticket prices for this concert is actually normal. 80-180 USD is reasonable ^^
the US tour last yr became 1hr show because its free… other Asia stops were 2 1/2 – 3hrs

Yay! Hello fello Canuck! I’m in that fb page too! I remember during the showcase period we tried calling radio stations to request jyj songs but didn’t succeed. NA Mainstream doesn’t know much about jyj yet. This time, my friend and I decided that will do a mini poster ad by a few skytrain stations if our budget allows. Thank god for tax refunds! Hehehe. We also plan to mail local newspaper and radio stations to cover the concert. We should get that fb page going again. I think fans in Alberta are coming to the Vancouver concert. Are u interested in joining our mini campaign? The more the better :).

My first time was seeing them at the NYC Showcase and that is not long enough. Since then I’ve been waiting for their full blown concert and now they are coming!!! I’m sooooo excited!!! Can’t wait!!! To all JYJ family, if you are anywhere near where the concerts are going to be, please come out to support the boys. They need us right now just as much as we want to see them. JYJ HWAITING!!

I have to say that the ticket prices are even cheaper than in their Korea world tour last year in Seoul where the concert was held in a stadium and even a seat in the third floor of the stadium cost appr. US$50.
But I have to say that all concerts in Seoul have the similar ticket prices. It’s inflation which affects the prices so much recently in Seoul.
I live in VA, will be driving to NJ for this concert. I still cant believe it happening.
i do hope there will not be any surprises with their working permits/visas this time around!

Can’t wait for LA. The ticket prices are very resonable. Also, try to buy it from actual venues because you might not have to pay extra fees by buying it online from places like ticket master etc. (it can save you $10-20 per ticket).
I was so sad to see the concert’s locations are no where near the South east coast… but after careful planning this might actually be doable. Here’s hoping!
