There was a meeting of the local government of Jeju Island just now so I went and came back.
After taking great pains in order to get our kids (JYJ) selected as Jeju’s Honorable Ambassadords (for 7 Natural Wonders), finally they were chosen last month and today the promotional materials went out. As for the appointment ceremony, it seems that we’ll do it about June while being in watch for Yoochun’s drama filming.
The leader in charge of the Natural 7 Wonders work told me–
Today a phone call came from Seoul, saying that to choose JYJ as the honorary ambassadors will not help very much (in promotions).
At that moment I was so angry that I told him that it was probably someone from SM who called…
Perhaps they are getting envious because there keeps being good publicity for our kids (JYJ).
From now on too I plan to make opportunities for our kids while doing promotions for the region of Jeju.
Our Sangyu’s too (T/N a word used in Sungkyungkwan Scandal that means “scholar”), please keep supporting.

I think the mediation sessions are a bust. This company SM has no intention of being civilized. They are thugs and bullies. I can hardly get over the fact that they actually directed AVEX to claim that Mr Baek’s “criminal background” was a reason to punish JYJ and suspend their activities. The irony here is just jaw-droppingly obvious to all.
They gave up on the mediation sessions in 2009 when it became very clear to the courts that SME was not negotiating in good faith. That’s what prompted the formal suit. What the court is working on now is a version of binding arbitration.

Yes, phone calls can be traced. Here in the States, phone companies are required to keep records of phone calls because their records are admissable in court. Especially in harassment cases. Their records can be supoeaned. (sp). Can’t imagine it would be any different in Korea.

Just the fact that within minutes of announcing JYJ as the new “Ambassadors…” and ‘Natural 7 Wonders’ has already receive calls regarding JYJ’s impact, proves how easily JYJ can get attention from the media. We, as fan, knows that anything JYJ sponsor (or associated w/) have brought great response ( SKK drama, Tio ads, NII ads, Junsu’s play are a few exam). Also, to announce someone as an Ambassadors, they must have done their research and have every faith beforehand. So, regarding the person that made the call, it shouldn’t be something we should lose our sleep over (if anything, it brings more publicity and for that I say “THANK YOU”).
I see things as half-full and I think all JYJ fan should as well. We can’t get too indulge in these bad announcement all the time. I know that a lot of artist in Korean go on verity show to promote their album; however, a lot of time they end up over-exposing themselves anyways. There’s got to be a reason why actor/actress don’t go on verity show & make a fouls out of themselves for laugh ..right? American actors/singers don’t as well.
Lets look at the movie “A Man From No Where” staring Wonbin. The movie didn’t do a lot promotions before release and Wonbin isn’t know to appear on verity show or public appearance as well. The movie went on to became the #1 gross movie in 2010 (in Korean) all due to word mouth that the movie was awesome. So, what I’m trying to say is….as long as JYJ continues to pick good projects and make great music, there’s nothing in this world that can stop them.

The more good press JYJ gets the madder SM becomes. If they had their way JYJ would not exist and that is what they are trying to do. I guess no one has crossed them before so they are like little spoiled brats trying to get their own way. They don’t understand what Freedom means, and they take it as betrayal. They are a bunch of babies crying and throwing hissy fits to get some one to agree with them. Too bad for SM cuz we fans will never give up on JYJ. This fight is going to get worse before it gets better unless the Courts are made aware of whats going on. It will take alot of press regarding this situation before the Court steps in to stop the maddness.
