The musical portal Bugs held a survey for a week of April 26th to May 2nd with the theme of “Who is the Idol who has a high likelihood of becoming a mentor of “Star Audition Great Birth”? (…) The result was that Sonyuh Sidae’s Taeyon took first place by obtaining a total of 45% (2,487 persons) of the vote.
Following, JYJ’s Xiah Junsu was selected to be 2nd with 41% (2,261 persons) of the votes. Xiah Junsu has been acknowledged in his abilities, to the degree that vocal trainers picked him as “the artist with the best singing abilities among idols.” In the bulletin also, the majority (of posts) were words that complimented Xiah Junsu’s singing ability. They expressed a variety of opinions: “There is no idol that can compare to Xiah Junsu’s sining ability,” and “Junsu, who pulls off live while dancing, is also suitable in Star Audition, Great Birth.” Currently, Xiah Junsu has been cast for the musical “Mozart!” which performs from May 24th to July 3rd and is concentrating on practicing.

And I wish that PDs would take polls/surveys like this in consideration instead of ent. companies’ influences, but who am I kidding?
I don’t know what it is either but I’m guessing it is somewhat of the same format as ‘the voice.’

But if it’s that kind of concept, Taeyeon and Junsu are arguably quite young to be mentoring…although they *do* have the experience and can already be considered as pros.

I think I had already posted my opinion on this on AKP but since this is about JYJ I am thrilled to see Junsu’s voice remaining in people’s hearts. I do however, have my criticism for both first place and second place, yes that is you duckie butt. Actually I have criticism for all three member’s voices. But i’m not gonna say anything here^^. Let’s just all enjoy some soulful JYJ voices.

I argued before that even though taeyeon is vocally correct in technical abilities, she lacks emotion when performing. It seems to her, singing is a job. And I agree members of CSJH should be in one of the top spots, replacing taeyeon even.

Ok…so lately i’ve seen Taeyeon at the top of ALOT of polls, and i’ve seen alot of comments praising her voice. I decided to check it out to see if she was really as good as people say. I listened to her sing, and though i’ll say she doesn’t sound bad, i didn’t feel anything when listening to her voice. Is that bad? Or is it just me? I love junsu so much because his voice is so beautiful and it has the power to make me feel so many emotions. But Taeyeon didn’t do that. I’m not big on too many female singers or girl groups but i will say that The Grace is full of AMAZING vocals, i really like IU’s voice as well, and Utada Hikaru (though she’s japanese) has one of the most soulful voices I’ve heard. I just really think Junsu should have been #1 or if not, at least someone with a powerful voice that blows people away. Maybe it’s just me though.

hay! i really don’t know what’s happening to the Korean industry nowadays. they are like trying to manufacture plastic dolls and robots with the girl & boy groups (even some solo ones). does real talent (even real and not surgically enhanced face) don’t matter to them anymore? with the result of this survey? i guess not! this is sad!
