Park Yoochun, “Flowing in Japanese Lines– JYJ, I Thank You!”
Singer / Actor Park Yoochun is displaying the Japanese skills he acquired as a Korean Wave singer to his heart’s content.
Park Yoochun, who has taken the role of the Japanese Yutaka for the new MBC Mon-Tues drama “Ripley” that begins airing on the 30th have a command of the Japanese akin to that of a native. The production team confirmed the Japanese skills of Park Yoochun which was higher than their expectations and increased the portion of Japanese lines.
Park Yoochun has taken the role of the successor to a famous resort who was born under a Japanese mother and grew up in Japan in his second drama as a lead, “Ripley.” He has a warm character but when working he is cool-headed. In expressing this uniqueness Park Yoochun speaks much of the lines in Japanese. Park Yoochun, in being active as group JYJ, has acquired abilities that are to the degree of appearing with his members in Japan’s popular variety programs and have a battle of words.
One production affiliate revealed: “Because Park Yoochun has for a long time been active in Japan and released albums, his Japanese abilities are significant. In the beginning the Japanese lines were few but after the author saw his abilities in almost every episode there are some Japanese lines.”
“Ripley” is also a drama that gathers attention because of his new transformation. Yoochun, who debuted as an actor through KBS 2TV’s “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” will show off through “Ripley” a grown-up male appeal. If “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” was a youth melodrama, “Ripley” is a melodrama in which the leads head towards destruction—and on this point the transformation of Park Yoochun is gathering anticipation.

Ah. Yoochun ahh!!!
Can’t wait for this drama.
Konnichwa Chunnie! Arigato….Well, that’s my knowledge of Japanese extended to it’s full. *twiddles my thumbs*
@Sapphie, you need some Japanese lessons urgently. ¡LOL!
i’ve been missing him speaking in japanese (blame a certain company for invertedly blocking them from appearing on japanese public attention) for almost 2 years now
i was kinda worried that he forgot to the point of being no longer fluent but its great to hear he’s kept his knowledge of the language ^^
He can’t not with him hanging around Director Jae all the time.
Japanese studies/language major? ^^
I miss them all speaking in Japanese. Especially singing in it!
All I can say is, “DUH!”
LOL
But of course! ^^
Can’t wait to watch it. I’m glad they added more Japanese lines.
Ahjumma killer will have more victims. 😀
Is it just me or does it seem like there are several news reports per day about the goings-on of the various members of JYJ? Is this new? Do you think there’s been a loosening of the terms of the blackout of JYJ in Korea or have they just finally busted through the blockage?
@Lilibaiyu
Yep! *cautiously* Don’t want to jinx anything.
*throws confetti silently*
Yap… Hopefully that’s the case.
@Lilibaiyu, JYJ boys have lots of work to do, as a group and individually. Huge success.
¿Who needs to broadcast?
Korean wave singer NOT!
If the definition of Korean wave singers are what that SoMebody defines, then absolutely NOT!
JYJ do not represent the normal kind of Korean wave singer like the others.
I’m being butthurt here but why should They take the credit when They are the one obstructing JYJ on their own home turf?!!
Furthermore, I don’t enjoy seeing Our boys being “grouped” together with those so-call Korean singers.

No kidding. The success of post-SME JYJ, even considering all of the ways SM has tried to block them and shut them down is the REAL story here–that’s the big scoop. They’ve transcended everything, every hurdle. They are bigger than ever before because of all of their related activities individually, despite everything SM could think of to stop them. THAT’S the story these reporters should be writing.
Precisely! Once in a blue moon do we read reports on how well JYJ has been doing DESPITE all the obstructions by those despicable big companies!
My dear JYJ family, indeed our boys are doing great globally without using the name that they really love, which is DBSK/TVXQ. We all know that the boys will never forget where they started and how they got where they are today. The boys are carving their own path through hard work, kindness, respect, patience, and love while taking all the hurt from people who nothing better to do, or who know how great and how big JYJ could become if they do not stir the pot. JYJ boys are so gracious that they Universe has no choice but to conspire and make things better for JYJ. Love the boys dearly.
@Lilibaiyu
I think the walls are coming down a piece at a time. The last piece will be the hardest, but it’s ok because JYJ is everywhere except the stupid idol shows and who needs them. I Love It, I Love It, and I Love it. It brings happiness to my heart to read something about them everyday now. Great talent can’t be stopped and now everyone is noticing it. I don’t think SM and Avex can stop the press, so we will be hearing alot more about them in the coming days. Their new Beginning has arrived.

It just fills me with joy to think about it. Maybe the worst is finally over.
At last.
🙂
@Lilibaiyu
Their only blocked with their TV performances and of course in Japan for concerts. I believe that will all change in time. The word is getting out now and the fans are voicing their anger about it. How much longer can SM and Avex get away with this??? Not much longer.
@Ro1499
Do I dare hope??? God, it’s so exciting to think of JYJ unleashed on the world! And I know what you mean: just in the last few days it’s sort of occurred to us all that…. Korean idol TV is nothing to mourn, under any circumstances! The venues in Japan are more of an issue, obviously, but I just feel like AVEX is going to be caving in like a house of cards before long–especially when the Japanese fans stand up and say, “You want our business?? Lay off JYJ!!”
GO CHUNNIE…Cant wait for ur dramaaaa… ^^ *freaking exciting*
his japanese skills is excellent..try listening his conversation in bigeastation…love his voice^_^
yeaph … his voice!!! *faint*
thank you so much God….for gave our boys another open door for their path and that path really….really big more than the doors that closed before……i hope there are gonna be another doors that will be open for our boys to the fullest of their freedom….Amen……
Amen to that!
I’m proud of you too, my Micky boy.
Of course, cause chunnie is awesome like that~
Chunnie Japanese skill is totally awesome…….. very cute…….sexyyyyy ! enjoy listen to his voice, melt out!
Can’t wait anymore to see Ripley!!!
Honestly…even Japanese fans said that his Japanese are akin to the average Japanese guy…his random words are very Japanese-like-I’m a language major and Japanese is my minor and I really love hearing his Japanese more than the others coz he sounds so Japanese….*I think my comments abuse some words rofl!*
Anyway~ I’m glad his lines are a lot more than before! 頑張って!
Park Yoochun’s three languages….can’t hardly wait :)))))
i miss hearing jyj sing in japanese, i am happy that micky gets to use his skills and wow the drama people with his skills.
