Words cannot even begin to explain the amazing time I had last night. It was so surreal, yet real at the same time. Half the time, I couldn’t help but smile while watching them, standing there with a dumbstruck expression on my face. The gracious melody that soothed my ears; the raw emotion emitting from the stage; the unity of a thousand standing beneath them. I never thought I would be able to see them so soon, they whose pictures do not do them justice. Even now, I cannot fully process where I was last night, what I was doing last night, and who I was able to see before my very own eyes. Seeing them upon the stage, I couldn’t look away at their precious faces, resembling children playing together. They were happier than all of us combined, the stage seething with charismatic beauty. The small stage could not even begin to contain the soaring grace yet powerful presence of these three men. Time ceased to exist for these two hours, with every face in the arena looking intently upon the stage. Distance was no matter, as the pure energy of the three filled up the stadium. I could not ask for more; the small phrases of English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean were more than enough to make my heart melt. It was so much more than I could have ever bargained for. Every minute, every second, every moment more precious than the last, continously replaying in my mind. Before I knew it, the night had already conquered the skies, the light of day no longer visible. The skies were clear, as if celebrating with us instead of showering us with tears. The night of hope and joy slowly came to an end, with the faces of the three forever embedded in my heart.
(Semi) Fan account + pictures after the break!
After heading home with a’lee, we hurried to the stadium. Of course, we got lost. We walked through this really sketch road, with intimidating allies and drugged men at both sides. We made it to the skytrain station where we were meeting my friends, but it was a really big station and we got lost again. My friend, s’kwan had to send her other friend (who I had not met yet) to meet us and take us there. Turns out, we were going the wrong way (what a surprise~). By the time we got there, the flash mob was already over. Frankly, I have never seen so much red before in my life~ The stairs were flooded with ember, yet there was still not enough. This didn’t bring down our spirits though! I changed into my JYJ t-shirt from The Beginning and started talking to my friends. We ran to get lightsticks too, which O! kindly gave out for free! YAY. I wrote HOPE and JYJ on my hands, with the O and JYJ in red like O! wanted~ After, they held another flash mob and
this time, I decided to join in. It didn’t really work out though, since not everyone knew the dance. There was this person with a really large video camera too, those really professional ones, so I hid at the back with my friend. After awhile, we decided to start lining up at Gate 3 and took pictures and whatnot. I also finished my fan letter on time that I worked at in school! s’kwan decided to write on the letter too, but I only let her write on the envelope, hehe. It was my letter to them, okay~ However, we were both too scared to talk to the really intimidating security guy, so one of my new friends went to go give it to him instead. It was really funny ‘cause he completely looked like a fanboy who went up to them to give JYJ a fangift. Nice boy is nice. We were in line when we saw some random people a’lee and I knew; a random girl that left our school because she had no
friends, and a girl calling out to one of my friends, d’kim (but I didn’t see him in the end). My friend and I started freaking out because we remembered that we didn’t eat any dinner but we couldn’t go out of line because then we’d have to line up all over again~ We decided to just go inside and eat some donuts instead (which were very expensive, might I add). After, we split up and went to our respective seats, even though it was only 7:00PM. I started talking to a random girl sitting next to me who was a japanese fan that was living in Canada~ I don’t remember her name anymore though ): It was a confusing name, that’s all I remember. She gave me a red balloon and I drew AKTF, JYJ, and Cassiopeia all over it (:
The concert didn’t start until around 45mins past 8PM, but we were all freaking out when the slightest light flickered or moved on the stage. We were all getting hyper from just being around each other and we would start screaming for no reason. Before going to the concert, I decided I was going to write a really nice fanaccount so people could read it, but right now, that’s impossible. I CAN’T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT ORDER THE SONGS WERE, BECAUSE I WAS TOO BUSY JUMPING UP AND DOWN AND SCREAMING FOR JYJ. I’ll tell you what I do remember though! Before the concert, they played videos of the flashmob practice with Junsu
jumping in the back so fans could learn it, I guess. I don’t even know what to write anymore. They sang almost all of their songs, including each of their solo songs as well: Ayyy Girl, Empty (opener), Be My Girl, Still in Love, I Can Soar, I Love You, Be the One, Mission, Nine, Pierrot, Fallen Leaves, I Deal Scenario, and 찾았다 (Found You) [I think that was it~].Of course, they also sang their new songs, In Heaven (second encore), Boy’s Letter, You’re, and Get Out~ It was seriously amazing. I knew they were brilliant singers and dancers, but i would’ve never thought they were so amazing. During Empty, Jaejoong went into the wrong formation and quickly ran back onto the right side, which was cute. I didn’t even really notice~ He also forgot to start during one of the new songs, but the embarrased and shy smile completely made up for it. Yoochun winked a few times,
ripped open his shirt, and also kind of choked at one point and it looked like he was going to cry~ His english was actually really good, I could understand him! Hehe. Frankly, I think all three of their English improved a lot; I could actually understand Jaejoong when he was singing! But sadly, he didn’t say anything in English. He did say thank-you in Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin too~ Junsu would occasionally say a short English phrase, like “Let’s have fun,” or “Whatsup” kind of thing. It was really cute and we would all scream like mad when he did speak.
When they were singing, you couldn’t tell they were dancing. When they were dancing, you couldn’t tell they were singing. They were doing both singing and dancing flawlessly, without a breath to waste. You couldn’t hear them gasping for breath while dancing too. Junsu was an amazing dancer and at one point, started to freestyle on the stage. We all started shouting, “GO JUNSU,” as started by Yoochun. Their dance moves were so precise and to the point, mixing in perfectly with their melodious voices. It was all about being professional though, they would constantly flash us a bright smile and show genuine happiness on their faces. There was also a lot of Soulmate action and a bit of Yoosu, but not much Jaesu. That’s alright though~ You could still tell the strong bond between the three. Three amazing people on one small stage; nothing does justice for these boys.
I don’t have much more to say; you had to be there to experience the pure goodness. THIS is what you call a concert.
During the concert, the security guards disappeared so everyone started running to the front, including me. But after awhile, it got annoying because I could see less than before ): Soon enough, the security guards came rushing back and pushing us back to our seats, while I, in the process, ran into the chair and now I have a cut just below me knee. That’s okay though, it was completely worth it. At one point, streamers also came flying out but everyone forgot about it later. I saw a silver streamer on the ground, so I told my friend to go grab it just for fun~ It turns out the silver streamers had their signatures on them! WAH. I am SO glad I told my friend to go grab it. I got two streamers in the end, so now I have 12 copies of their signatures, hehe. I promised to cut a piece off for my friend though~ After the concert, no one really wanted to leave so we kind of sat around until the security came by to make us leave. I kept looking at the stage to see if I could see JYJ behind the bars or something, but sadly, I didn’t see them. Oh well! We made our way outside and I met up with v’tam and her friends, so we could take the bus home together. We went outside for a bit and took pictures, jumped up and down like crazy as we couldn’t contain our hyperness. None of us could talk or scream anymore though, but we still managed to flail up and down. It was such an amazing night, meeting many new amazing people, dreaming of three amazing musicians. I wanted to go visit the boys at the airport before they left for their next destination, but I figured they could use a break from screaming fangirls since their next concert is tomorrow. I really wish they could have stayed for just a while longer; I doubt they saw anything of the city while they were here. I hope they’re doing well! (Junsu just tweet a picture of a dead Jaejoong at the airport ): ). Either way, an amazing night to begin a long weekend like no other.

That’s Jaejoong waiting at the airport. Junsu tweeted it. ^^
thank you for fancount!!!
What a wonderful fan account and beautiful testament of the kinds of feelings these young men emote.
I generally appreciate the love fans have for their stans but w/ all the trials & hardships JYJ have experienced and still face, I truly think their fans are a special bunch. Can not even find a tinge of jealousy for those who get to see them live as I patiently wait for my turn ( later than sooner) because I can imagine how joyous the experience will be and empathize with all who have been waiting & hoping and when it turns into reality, oh my ♥!
Thanks for sharing and looking forward to hearing more accounts in the future.
I have been waiting for the fan accounts. Thank you for a great fan account! I can’t wait to see them tomorrow!!!!!
Hi, was the concert venue packed?
I’m getting really sick of this question. No, it was not packed. JYJ picked the venue so that they would be sure that every JYJ fan who wanted to see them would be able to. Unlike some others who pick the smallest venues possible so there would be riots in the streets. (Unless SME was unaware of the French fondness for riots, which is hard to imagine…)
Yupp 🙂 I’d rather like it less packed.
You can’t really enjoy if when there’s so many people, like that NY showcase. I couldn’t even move.
Thank you for the fan-account..i enjoyed reading it..you girls are so lucky indeed 🙂 😀
Thanks for the fan account! 🙂 I especially like the first paragraph.

PWAHAHAHHAHA how did this get here?!
definitely one of the best concerts ever~!
i wonder if l’wong knows its up here XD
lovely fan account! luv it luv it luv it!
Thanks for sharing your good experience of JYJ concert ! It’s really your unforgotten weekend …… there is no limit of the stage whatever it’s large or small for their show , won’t affect their perfect show !!
Jaejoong make me feel touching that he used off his all power in the show, he really exhausted after the show so he was so tired & sleepy made him can’t stand until get on the plane , so that he sleep on the open area in the mid of his shopping time ^^…….
Yoochun & Junsu also given out their all power in concert too ……. yoochun just get well and busy in acting his drama everyday and Junsu also busy in both soccer matching for donation and his musical performance ^^……
That’s the reason why I love JYJ much more & more , increased day by day ……… V@_^V
