I just came back from LA concert and compare all the pictures he took earlier, Chunnie lose some weights again in the concert. His weight has been in the state of fluctuations since SKKS…Chunnie please take care of your health…and no smoking …
The JYJ concert is great and they all have gifted talents on the stage. But I feel like I want to voice this out; it’s annoying to have some of fans’ screaming and also their hands raising up highly and waving the lightsticks (almost) throughout the concert and these really affect others sitting at the back to enjoy it. I think that will be okay for JYJ fans but not for casual audience. All the concert fancams and videos so far I’ve watched, I like the concerts in Japan the most and it’s not because of the venue it’s because of the audience reaction and they really enjoy their music within their performance and not much screaming…
i totally get what you’re trying to say
these people were waving their light sticks in my face the whole time
even when they are singing ballad songs the audience on the floor stand up and scream loudly!
but i can’t really do anything about it but regret that i’m in north america and not japan
when one person stands up its almost like a virus starts to spread and everybody else gets up because they’re blocked otherwise..
I probably one that was screaming hard with other fans in front row I think jyj fans got so overwhemed to see them in LA since we don’t see them on the tv a lot lately. Anyway it was bothering you, I apologies!!
Regarding the ratings:
Ratings by AGB Nielsen: 13.2% (nationalwide), 14.6% (Seoul and metropolitan areas)
Ratings by TNS: 11.3% (nationalwide), 14.2% (Seoul and metropolitan areas)
Nielsen’s figures are considered as the most relient in Korea, so the official rating for episode 1 most frequently cited in the Korean media is 13.2%. And I heard that people in the industry rely heavily on the Nielsen’s Seoul metropolitan areas’ figures, which is near 15%.
It means the Ripley team did very well last night, because not very many kdramas starting these days have started off with a double-digit rating. Furthermore, it ranked first amongst its competing programs from other channels during the Mon-Tues prime time.
The drama is very much different from SKKS (for any of you who might have encountered Chunnie through SKKS) and i’m afraid it’s not the type of drama typical kdrama fans particularly enjoy- it’s a heavy melodrama with lots of cliche, coincidence, betrayal, secret behind one’s birth, and so on…But in my view it’s the type of drama lots of Korean viewers like and thus guarantees high ratings (unless it is executed very badly..)
I personally liked Yoochun in it…he didn’t choose an easy path but rather decided to challenge himself by starring in something completely different from his last show. Besides, all the actors (even the supporting actors) are known to be very strong actors with great experiences and acting skills, so i bet Chun can learn a lot from them.
The drama showed a good start, even my mom (who even shunned SKKS) decided to watch it (she actually likes this one!) and people at my offices talk about it… My gut tells me that it’s gonna be big as the story goes on, and Yoochun is gonna be the talk of the town soon enough, once his character develops more! (Since last night’s show just briefly introduced Yoochun’s character, he didn’t appear that much, but according to the synopsis i read his character becomes more and more important and intense as the story unfolds.)
