[NEWS] Jaejoong Collaborates with One of Top Korean/International Designer Duo Steve J & Yoni P for Gala Costume

Steve J & Yoni P, the Makers of Sohn Yeonjae’s First Gala. JYJ Kim Jaejoong Also Participates.

LG Whisen Rhythmic All Stars 2011 is raising expectations due to JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s directing and the revealing of the video of the set of the practice. The Costumes Designer for the gala show of Rhythmic Gymnastics athlete Sohn Yeonjae has been revealed.

The Designers are Steve J & Yoni P. The fashion designer duo debuted in the London Collection and is always becoming a topic of conversation due to the unique performance and collection. They are being picked as the “must buy” brand of the trendsetters, domestic and abroad.

Sohn Yeonjae finished the fitting and the examination of the new costume on the 1^st by visiting the flagship store of Steve J & Yoni P that is located in Hannamdong.

Steve J and Yoni P was smitten with Sohn Yeonjae who was displaying a trendy fashion sense with her usual sensibilities of a young girl and thus have come to participate in the making of the costume. They are currently making the costume with their unique sensibilities so that Sohn Yeonjae who will be presenting her first gala stage can shine.

Furthermore, it has become known that the duo exchanged a variety of opinions with JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong who is in charge of the stage directing with regards to the costume styling according to the feeling of the music, and that the making (of the costume) had been proceeded in collaboration with Kim Jaejoong.

Designer Yoni P revealed his impressions about the work: “In making a stage costume which is not something I normally do, I worried a lot and had hardship but I feel that this became a new experience for me. Above all, because Yeonjae is very attractive the costume also seems to look fitting on her and I am happy. I hope that she will be able to cut an even more impressive figure on stage.”

Sohn Yeonjae also relayed her satisfaction with the costume and expectations for the performance after the fitting: “It is a different costume from tournaments and I was very excited because famous designer-nims were working on it. It is as beautiful as I expected and I want to wear it and show it to the audience as quickly as possible on stage.”
