A few of the largest Jaejoong fansites in Korea and Japan has united to create a single home ^_^ They’ll be using it to discuss joint projects for Jae (e.g. projects for his drama). Their including english, chinese, japanese and korean posts so fans can access it easily. You can register now too =) It just opened so its not perfect yet. Their still hiring translators and whatnot. They’ll be announcing their projects for Jaejoongs drama in the later days.
I’d prefer if there were a separate one for international jae fans outside of East Asian because Japan, China and South Korea ALWAYS give Jaejoong and JYJ fangifts and “support” them. I want the other international fans to take charge and show our love to JJ. Maybe next time they do a tour he might feel more comfortable visiting all of these different countries outside of Asia.
well u need to take in account that Jaejoong is Asian and he is more comfortable around asian cultures and stuffs. Not to mention the language differences. Since he is Korean he has been traveled to Asian countries the most so maybe he is more comfortable there.
I dont think has to do with only the familiarity of being Asian, that makes him more comfortable traveling to other countries, yes there is a language barrier. But he has a lot of international fans, I want international fans to take initiative with this new fan projectsn nothing against the fanclubs in China, Japan, and South Korea I just want international fans to step up.
Yepp, they have it in english now too so you can register in english I believe. Their also translating all their posts into english, chinese, japanese and korean. ^_^

if you’re looking for a girl group with carefree personalities/interesting dynamics like jyj…i would honestly go with so nyuh shi dae. i know not everybody here likes them, but they’re very sweet and funny imho.
now if you’re looking for a girl group with the same vocal prowess/same musical appeal as jyj, i would go with brown eyed girls. they’re not the norm when it comes to idol groups and that’s what makes them so amazing.
I agree Brown Eyed Girls. I like T-ara and Miss A as well because they have strong vocals. Honestly I am not a SNSD fan, I am kinda a 2NE1 fan i understand 2NE1 is trying to break the classic girl group sound with auto tune and dub step type music but i want to hear more of their vocals nice and clean.

but my heart belongs to wondergirls.. they may not be the best singers, not the most beautiful.. but I love that sense of trying-their-best and down to earth that they have.. minzy is spunky..love her..good voice too.. and dara is the only one that is meh to me. She’s cute.. but thats about it. But with dara it bothers me because 2ne1 is such a strong group, if dara can offer something other than her personality to the table, 2ne1 will be perfect

Me too! I learnt a lot of good songs from Coffee prince. Hi5! I learnt about casker, humming urban stereo, etc from there. I love the pop-indie-ish music they played in that drama, not to mention its my favorite kdrama ever. I forgot how I learnt about 4men, I suppose it was when I was chatting to a friend. She introduced me 4men, I introduced her the d.a.y.

nah, they were popular before secret garden – even in international fandom. i remember their song “baby baby” was everywhere when it came out. i can’t count on both hands the amount of many idols/artists/actors/etc/ that covered it.
That is a joint site create by 8 of largest JJ fansites in Korea+Japan for their joint projects for Jaejoong. (The current one being his new drama support projects) They will have Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English versions of their posts on their BBS. You can register for it also.
They are a new project team create by International JJ fans in collaboration with Jaetime. They are planning to do support projects for Jaejoong and Protect the boss. They also have a wordpress site.

Jaejoong has a smooth, laid back style of dancing while Yoochun has a jagged lazy style of dancing xD
Junsu on the other hand is smooth but also sharp with his dance moves and hes definitely not lazy when it comes to dancing.
Yoochun has swag though; he always looks cool.

The Korean group that even boasts enormous popularity in Japan, JYJ’s Kim Junsu’s twin brother Junho. Recently he appeared on the red carpet of the closing ceremony for the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival in China. Junho has been active not just in Japan but in all of Asia, and he will be making his major debut in August with Avex, and has recently decided the title of his new single.
Junho’s new single has been titled “Fate”, a title that has been chosen with all of Junho’s feelings. With this idea of “fate”, it has a similar sense as to a baseball player who has walked his whole life as a baseball player but then decides to enter the entertainment business. After last year’s debut in China, Junho will be debuting in Japan this year and the feeings he has of this challenge he is determined to win is evident in his lyrics.
Before his debut, a teaser video of his new single “Fate” will be available, with the idea that “Beyond the belief in your fate, there is your future”, and this will aired on his official site on June 29th.

We all love Junsu, and we should have been proud and happy for his twin brother achievement but because of Avex’ actions to JYJ , it falls in a bittersweet situation. Hope Junsu will not be torn between JYJ and Junho. Hope JYJ fans will behave appropriately, please don’t hurt Junho, if you don’t like to support him, just leave him alone. Let’s not make our love for JYJ as an excuse to hate him just because he decides to work under avex.
Its sad, but Junho does live under his brothers shadow. He will need to work extra hard in order to get rid of the title “Kim Junsu’s twin brother”…I wish him the best in whatever he wishes to do because even though I do not follow his activities, I know that JYJ, especially Junsu would not want anyone to harbor bad feelings for Junho. @kris – I may be one of the few people here who liked Junho/aka Zuno/Juno BEFORE he made news over signing with Avex.
It was about this time last year that I watched the YouTube of an old Korean variety show – the premise was to have 3 known-stars/celebrities…bring a friend on the show as a *mystery date*….who would then try to woo the female cast ~ ❤ (can’t remember what it was called) Junsu brought his brother…and he was ADORABLE, big, lanky, a little derpy….giggly, just like Junsu – and I immediately thought, “If I were one of the girls on that show…I’d be climbing that tree-of-a-man, fo sure!”
That show spurred me to google what this cutie-pie had been doing with his life…and I found his YouTube MV for *Nothing to Lose*…a Chinese release. While I couldn’t help but compare his performance with that of his brother …I’d have to say he gave a professional performance and his vocals were, in my opinion, on a par with any Korean idol debut – he’s no slouch.
Because I’ve been following him on twitter since he had his Korean account…and now that he keeps a Japanese one…I’ve been able to see how affectionate he is with Junsu, including tweeting encouragements and general things like having seen a poster of Junsu in Mozart (while in Japan) not to mention their epic battle over who is better, Spiderman or Hulk….Anyone who thinks these brothers aren’t in TOTAL support of each other needs a *head check*.
It may or may not be appropriate to post this here (admins, please remove if so) …but Junho tweeted that he had a new YouTube Channel just yesterday (the VERY thing we all have been praying JYJ would get…sigh)….and it has a teaser of his upcoming release.

Sure, people are probably always gonna compare him to Junsu since Junsu is so popular and is recognized for his great vocals but it pisses me off when I see people bashing him just because he signed with Avex. I mean, it’s obvious Junsu (and JYJ as a whole) isn’t resentful towards Junho since they’re still talking and supporting each other (Junho went to Junsu’s musicals recently etc.) so why should we ? If you don’t like Junho just ignore him, no need to be so hateful.

The Asian media are always going to link Junho’s name with Junsu’s & probably JYJ’s too, at least unless Junho becomes more popular than they already are. Solely because while many people know JYJ, few know Junho, so more people are likely to read the article if JYJ & Junsu are mentioned. If Junho is smart, which it sounds like he is, he will realise this & not take it to heart. It’s not a reflection on his talent, merely the media trying to get as many people to buy their newspaper/magazine etc, as possible.

But, i guess we all know what happened then when one did speak up especially with all the sm family ganging up on them 3, asking for more antis. I would personally give those 2 a piece of my mind in public about my lack of morals. I would divulge what happened back then for all to see. Talking about the news of junsu getting numer two, I was reading it and I remembered about a performance they had back when they were five.
This performance totally blow me away, the emotion that the 3 put in the live performance was amazing.
This make me fall so much in love with them X)
JYJ has great talent in singing or in any other thing they put themselves in.
In my opinion is one of there best performances, hope that everyone likes it and hope for your thoughts.

The more I listen to DBSK songs, the more a part of my heart wishes there was some way for them all to re-unite. Their harmonies, especially in the ballads, were really just sublime. I can almost understand the OT5 fans not wanting to let go. But at the same time, I really feel that JYJ are complete just as they are.

I notice that Jaejoong seems to go through phases where he tweets a lot, sometimes nearly every day, & then doesn’t tweet at all for a while. I don’t know if it means something significant is going on. I know that for me, sometimes I talk a lot, & other times I don’t talk at all – it doesn’t necessarily mean that anything serious is going on, that’s just how I feel at the time. Maybe it’s the same with Jaejoong.

I remember one summer in particular. 2007. Really fun summer stalking our guys online along with their 2 former members before the craziness that was the Big Push in Japan began later that year (-__-) with the back and forth travels and everything worrisome.
That summer, a really fun song came out and I LOVED it. And though I know better now with the lawsuit and a lot of skeletons coming out of the dark SM closet these past few years, it still holds a special place in my heart ^^ I don’t think a lot of you have seen/heard it yet so here it is (BTW, I just LOVE Chun’s hair here! lol):

What makes me sick is the “SM Town” Lurve. and this kinda stuff has lead some to believe they actually had a family atmosphere. I cant stomach these kind of videos anymore.

Actually it has little to do with the people but seriously i feel like i’m being fed propaganda (for a lack of a better term) when i watch these vids, now that we know how far reality is from this image.

I know what you mean. And like I said below, I’m not apologizing merely having a self pity party. LOL. But having been and seen SMTOWN through the years and having a bi-annual album every year since 2001 (I joined the party when the summer 2004 album came out with the Hotmail mv), it’s still special for me I guess. Yes I beat myself up about it and then go all mushy. Pfft. LOL. What you grow up with you can’t shake off.
And yeah….SM being what it is…now we all know the reason why they stopped the bi-annual album thing. Like you said in your post.
It was already petering out near the lawsuit time with that final release and when the lawsuit happened, for me SMTOWN became no more. From the time they debuted until the last SMTOWN MV, you could see that DBSK was SMTOWN’s life and when that life splintered, so did SMT. So yeah, there is no more SMT for me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t remember what it was and what it could be and all the happy times in the past.
I’m going to say this as gently as I can… I wish people would stop apologizing for being a fan under the SMTown fan umbrella. It is not/nor was it a sin/crime to like the artists under the SME banner. Even if there are some arrested develop (sp) mentally folks in that organization, it does not negate people’s attraction to those artists.
Humans being what they are, are exposed to conditioning from all kinds of sources. You liked the artists, you had no idea the company is run by a group of S***heads.
You like who you like. That IS NOT a crime! So please people, stop apologizing. For me at least, it’s not necessary. End of rant. Thank you.
I think I was in a self-deprecating mood so I guess it came out that way. Hehe. I am in no way apologizing for liking artists like CSJH The Grace, SJ-KRY, or Zhang Li Yin who are still under the SM banner. I even like a lot of artists under AVEX as well. But in no way am I going to support them by parting with my money like buying stuff and such anymore. That ended a long time ago.
I was reminiscing and feeling wistful and moody and thinking of the “good old happy days” that I knew and it being summer, my brain naturally turned to the songs that I loved from the SMTOWN 2007 Summer album. I suppose that’s why I felt the need to share.
Looking back, for me, this was the last time that I felt like SM had a sane head on its shoulders (as if they ever had any *shrugs*) Heck, I can even go back to the Hotmail summer 2004 smtown album, Red Sun summer 2005 smtown album, and all the winter smtown albums in between until 2007 summer. I still have all the songs and I still play them from time to time.
There was just something in the air when I watched them back in those days. It started to fall apart after the 2007 summer album for some reason. Probably because of the Big Push? IDK. All I know is, the above will always be a part of my “childhood” of sorts, so while it might hurt and have a bitter taste in my mouth (even all my past THSK and DBSK collections have the same effect), they’re still a part of me because I came to know and love them and I guess that urge to take it out and listen and remember will always be there.
2007 was the year I got introduced to SMTown and joined the bandwagon. I was the type of fangirl who never really bothered to look beneath the surface (i.e. the goings-on in the company) and just enjoyed the spazzing (i.e. the idols). Those were fun times, but I eventually grew out of it.
I realize that what I liked about SMTown were the concepts they portrayed at the time and when those concepts changed with the trends that I wasn’t fond of, I also lost interest in their idols. I’d actually be the first to admit that I liked Super Junior’s concept during their Miracle/Dancing Out/Haengbok/Wonder Boy times better than their Don’t Don/Sorry Sorry/Bonomana times. Same with SNSD – I liked their concept during the time they were promoting Girls’ Generation and Kissing You (basically during their first album promos) but didn’t like their concept come Gee period (although the song was really catchy).
Don’t feel the need to apologise for liking sm artists. You didn’t know what was going on behind closed doors, & what is going on behind closed doors is sm’s toe-the–line-or-your-a**-is-out-the-door. That is not how the idols would choose to live their professional lives I’m sure if they had a choice at keeping their careers but being free of sm, & there’s nothing wrong in you liking what they produce/produced. Liking sm idols music/concepts/projects, & not liking the business practices of sm are two completely different things. & if DBSK hadn’t been successful at sm, JYJ wouldn’t have had a fanbase to fall back on when they made the break. It’s all relative.
Oh & to clarify to everyone, I’m not saying that JYJ owe sm in any way, shape or form. It’s sm who owe JYJ – & a hell of a lot of moolah for that matter. But the for some harsh reality is, it was sm who trained the 5 guys, formed DBSK & created their concepts & most of their songs. As vile as sm is, without them there wouldn’t have been a DBSK, nor ultimately a JYJ.

*shrugs* I was really only going to watch it for Jaejoong. Korean dramas like Poseidon aren’t really my cup of tea. I didn’t watch Iris, Athena, or Runaway: Fugitive either. I prefer Japanese dramas of this genre better.

Even though Yoochun’s asthma doesn’t keep him from performing, he may get a different posting, non-active duty. In any case, they will have a career to come back to. How many others can say the same.

I’d rather they all go together & come back together as well. But maybe they’re considering doing it separately so that one of them is always active in the public eye – keeping the name JYJ active so to speak? Logically I think there are a lot of good things about compulsory military service. Emotionally I really wish JYJ didn’t have to do it…double standards I know, but after them having lived under such a strict regime with sm, I don’t want them to have to go back in to a similar sort of discipline with the military. Especially when they are all loving their freedom so much.

I mean, it is far more important for 2 fans escaping from the role of stepping stones preparing for new follow up singers than trying to hold JYJ in check.

Tbh, I feel the writer is rather underestimating the individual activities of the members.
Would Chunnie have gonna all the ahjuma fans without SKKS?
Would Su have gonna recognition from the musical world without Mozart and TOH?

I think by branching out, they actually venture into new territories and become real artists!!

It is a nice read, and I don’t mean to belittle the effort, but what this person is stating is the obvious. I really don’t think there are that many JYJ fans, especially here at JYJ3, who didn’t know al lthis before. None of what this person wrote is news, at least not to me.
Of course SME is afraid of THE GROUP JYJ. Why else have they gone park ape over their exit from the company. SME knows in it’s money machine heart who was the driving force behind the success of DBSK/TVXQ. Yes, the entire group was the foundation for the financial success of SME, but without JYJ, there is no DBSK/TVXQ. No matter what reason is given for the continued use of the name by the remaining two, the TVXQ sound is no longer under the roof of SME. The Heart, Mind, Soul, and Sound of TVXQ is now under the roof of CJes. I still question how well the remaing two are being treated. If AVEX is any indication, they may not fare so well after all. This is what SME is sending them to for the remainder of this year? To play second fiddle to UKISS? WOW….
So JYJ staying together and succeeding IS a definite threat to SME. All one has to do is look at the numbers. Everything JYJ has done under AVEX and under CJes, has brought them more financial stability than they ever had under SME for all those years. SME was making out like a fat rat. The rat has lost so much weight right now, you hardly know it. Just go back and look at the quarterly report posted here several weeks ago.
Yes, they are making a push to try and get the remaining acts to market so to speak. They need all the help they can get. Only problem with this is sensory overload. They will have to promote like crazy. This is another financial burden for them to bear. And if these acts don’t produce, there’s another quarterly report down the toilet. Which makes their association with this UAM so interesting. I’m still wondering who made the first overtures regarding this cartel.
So, any and all efforts to derail JYJ and the fandom wiill come into play. Since SME knows it’s going to lose the case, they have to strike while the iron is hot. Frankly, I will be interested to see what they try and shove down people’s throats. Since their edge is getting kind of shaky, anything is liable to happen. Desperation makes folks do some foolish things.
The one thing CJes and JYJ have that SME doesn’t have – JYJ. Their talent is not going anywhere. It has remained strong and creative even with all the cockblocking. So once the case is settled, this talent will still be available for the highest bidder. The fans will no longer accept lame behind excuses for keeping them off broadcast TV.
So, the individual AND collective efforts of JYJ will continue to pay off. Only this time the payees are JYJ, not SME. As JYJ’s fans, we are the Miracle Makers and Miracles are a force to be reckoned with.

Right now there’s some dispute inside the kfandom regarding some individual fans (I havent got the full info yet). And this is why the writer wrote this. Its not belittling their individual work, but to remind the fans, right now, what jyj actually need is the united fans support. No matter how successful their indvdl works are, it is the name JYJ they are currently in a battle with. Some selfish fans act will ruin their fight.

As a Westerner & as someone who values my freedom & independence highly, normally the right of every individual is very important to me. But we are fighting a conglomerate who will use every means in their power to destroy JYJ. Which means we fans have to be 100% united in our support & protection of all 3 of them. Here in JYJ3, most of us love all of the guys, even though most of us also have our own particular bias. But hopefully this letter will be circulated to those areas of the fandom who childishly & selfishly fight over who is the better member, who sings the best, who has the most activities. Jaejoong, Chunnie & Su’s individual activities are bringing in more publicity & more fans, but for them to stay strong together, they have to stand as JYJ, which means they need their JYJ fans supporting all 3 of them, individually & together.

i asked her about JJ’s voice being unwell (as some of you guys discussed) and she replied, not at all, it’s just the style recently^^
furthermore, she made comments about junsu’s generosity, how the three are really kind and beautiful people, and a promising future for the three…ah her words of JYJ were full of sincereness and approval…she said she chose to stand up b/c a lot of ppl are losing their faith due to the spread of gossips and such TT_TT
it was great for her to stand up…she was only a staff member at first but she couldn’t help but b attracted by their personalities and charisma, so she’s now a fan^^~but she asked to b regarded as a tvx5 fan, b/c she had worked with the tvx5 b4 and she thinks they’re all excellent artists, both JYJ and HM

Their still hiring translators and whatnot. They’ll be announcing their projects for Jaejoongs drama in the later days.

I’d prefer if there were a separate one for international jae fans outside of East Asian because Japan, China and South Korea ALWAYS give Jaejoong and JYJ fangifts and “support” them. I want the other international fans to take charge and show our love to JJ. Maybe next time they do a tour he might feel more comfortable visiting all of these different countries outside of Asia.
well u need to take in account that Jaejoong is Asian and he is more comfortable around asian cultures and stuffs. Not to mention the language differences. Since he is Korean he has been traveled to Asian countries the most so maybe he is more comfortable there.
I dont think has to do with only the familiarity of being Asian, that makes him more comfortable traveling to other countries, yes there is a language barrier. But he has a lot of international fans, I want international fans to take initiative with this new fan projectsn nothing against the fanclubs in China, Japan, and South Korea I just want international fans to step up.

if you’re looking for a girl group with carefree personalities/interesting dynamics like jyj…i would honestly go with so nyuh shi dae. i know not everybody here likes them, but they’re very sweet and funny imho.
now if you’re looking for a girl group with the same vocal prowess/same musical appeal as jyj, i would go with brown eyed girls. they’re not the norm when it comes to idol groups and that’s what makes them so amazing.
I agree Brown Eyed Girls. I like T-ara and Miss A as well because they have strong vocals. Honestly I am not a SNSD fan, I am kinda a 2NE1 fan i understand 2NE1 is trying to break the classic girl group sound with auto tune and dub step type music but i want to hear more of their vocals nice and clean.

Me too! I learnt a lot of good songs from Coffee prince. Hi5! I learnt about casker, humming urban stereo, etc from there. I love the pop-indie-ish music they played in that drama, not to mention its my favorite kdrama ever. I forgot how I learnt about 4men, I suppose it was when I was chatting to a friend. She introduced me 4men, I introduced her the d.a.y.

Hm…I realized that Junsu’s dancing is a mix of Jaejoong+Yoochun but better LOL
Jaejoong has a smooth, laid back style of dancing while Yoochun has a jagged lazy style of dancing xD
Junsu on the other hand is smooth but also sharp with his dance moves and hes definitely not lazy when it comes to dancing.
Yoochun has swag though; he always looks cool.
but definitely nobody can compete with junsu when it comes to dancing.
I loved the dances during the concerts but i wish junsu would go all out and really challenge himself.

JYJ Junsu’s Brother Junho To Debut In Japan With New Single “Fate”
The Korean group that even boasts enormous popularity in Japan, JYJ’s Kim Junsu’s twin brother Junho. Recently he appeared on the red carpet of the closing ceremony for the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival in China. Junho has been active not just in Japan but in all of Asia, and he will be making his major debut in August with Avex, and has recently decided the title of his new single.
Junho’s new single has been titled “Fate”, a title that has been chosen with all of Junho’s feelings. With this idea of “fate”, it has a similar sense as to a baseball player who has walked his whole life as a baseball player but then decides to enter the entertainment business. After last year’s debut in China, Junho will be debuting in Japan this year and the feeings he has of this challenge he is determined to win is evident in his lyrics.
Before his debut, a teaser video of his new single “Fate” will be available, with the idea that “Beyond the belief in your fate, there is your future”, and this will aired on his official site on June 29th.

We all love Junsu, and we should have been proud and happy for his twin brother achievement but because of Avex’ actions to JYJ , it falls in a bittersweet situation. Hope Junsu will not be torn between JYJ and Junho. Hope JYJ fans will behave appropriately, please don’t hurt Junho, if you don’t like to support him, just leave him alone. Let’s not make our love for JYJ as an excuse to hate him just because he decides to work under avex.
Its sad, but Junho does live under his brothers shadow. He will need to work extra hard in order to get rid of the title “Kim Junsu’s twin brother”…I wish him the best in whatever he wishes to do because even though I do not follow his activities, I know that JYJ, especially Junsu would not want anyone to harbor bad feelings for Junho. @kris – I may be one of the few people here who liked Junho/aka Zuno/Juno BEFORE he made news over signing with Avex.
It was about this time last year that I watched the YouTube of an old Korean variety show – the premise was to have 3 known-stars/celebrities…bring a friend on the show as a *mystery date*….who would then try to woo the female cast ~ ❤ (can’t remember what it was called) Junsu brought his brother…and he was ADORABLE, big, lanky, a little derpy….giggly, just like Junsu – and I immediately thought, “If I were one of the girls on that show…I’d be climbing that tree-of-a-man, fo sure!”
That show spurred me to google what this cutie-pie had been doing with his life…and I found his YouTube MV for *Nothing to Lose*…a Chinese release. While I couldn’t help but compare his performance with that of his brother …I’d have to say he gave a professional performance and his vocals were, in my opinion, on a par with any Korean idol debut – he’s no slouch.
Because I’ve been following him on twitter since he had his Korean account…and now that he keeps a Japanese one…I’ve been able to see how affectionate he is with Junsu, including tweeting encouragements and general things like having seen a poster of Junsu in Mozart (while in Japan) not to mention their epic battle over who is better, Spiderman or Hulk….Anyone who thinks these brothers aren’t in TOTAL support of each other needs a *head check*.
It may or may not be appropriate to post this here (admins, please remove if so) …but Junho tweeted that he had a new YouTube Channel just yesterday (the VERY thing we all have been praying JYJ would get…sigh)….and it has a teaser of his upcoming release.

Sure, people are probably always gonna compare him to Junsu since Junsu is so popular and is recognized for his great vocals but it pisses me off when I see people bashing him just because he signed with Avex. I mean, it’s obvious Junsu (and JYJ as a whole) isn’t resentful towards Junho since they’re still talking and supporting each other (Junho went to Junsu’s musicals recently etc.) so why should we ? If you don’t like Junho just ignore him, no need to be so hateful.

The Asian media are always going to link Junho’s name with Junsu’s & probably JYJ’s too, at least unless Junho becomes more popular than they already are. If Junho is smart, which it sounds like he is, he will realise this & not take it to heart. ive always wondered why do they, jyj, constantly take all the name calling and defaming by sm and especially their ex members? But, i guess we all know what happened then when one did speak up especially with all the sm family ganging up on them 3, asking for more antis. This performance totally blow me away, the emotion that the 3 put in the live performance was amazing.

The more I listen to DBSK songs, the more a part of my heart wishes there was some way for them all to re-unite. Their harmonies, especially in the ballads, were really just sublime. I can almost understand the OT5 fans not wanting to let go. But at the same time, I really feel that JYJ are complete just as they are.

I notice that Jaejoong seems to go through phases where he tweets a lot, sometimes nearly every day, & then doesn’t tweet at all for a while. I don’t know if it means something significant is going on. I know that for me, sometimes I talk a lot, & other times I don’t talk at all – it doesn’t necessarily mean that anything serious is going on, that’s just how I feel at the time. Maybe it’s the same with Jaejoong.

I remember one summer in particular. 2007. Really fun summer stalking our guys online along with their 2 former members before the craziness that was the Big Push in Japan began later that year (-__-) with the back and forth travels and everything worrisome.
That summer, a really fun song came out and I LOVED it. And though I know better now with the lawsuit and a lot of skeletons coming out of the dark SM closet these past few years, it still holds a special place in my heart ^^ I don’t think a lot of you have seen/heard it yet so here it is (BTW, I just LOVE Chun’s hair here! lol):

Oh here are some of my other fave tracks in that album. Even then JYJ held a prominent spot for their voices (see above & below^^). You can’t help but notice. I know what you mean. And like I said below, I’m not apologizing merely having a self pity party. LOL. But having been and seen SMTOWN through the years and having a bi-annual album every year since 2001 (I joined the party when the summer 2004 album came out with the Hotmail mv), it’s still special for me I guess. Yes I beat myself up about it and then go all mushy. Pfft. LOL. What you grow up with you can’t shake off.
And yeah….SM being what it is…now we all know the reason why they stopped the bi-annual album thing. Like you said in your post.
It was already petering out near the lawsuit time with that final release and when the lawsuit happened, for me SMTOWN became no more. From the time they debuted until the last SMTOWN MV, you could see that DBSK was SMTOWN’s life and when that life splintered, so did SMT. So yeah, there is no more SMT for me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t remember what it was and what it could be and all the happy times in the past.

I’m going to say this as gently as I can… I wish people would stop apologizing for being a fan under the SMTown fan umbrella. It is not/nor was it a sin/crime to like the artists under the SME banner. Even if there are some arrested develop (sp) mentally folks in that organization, it does not negate people’s attraction to those artists.
Humans being what they are, are exposed to conditioning from all kinds of sources. You liked the artists, you had no idea the company is run by a group of S***heads.
You like who you like. That IS NOT a crime! So please people, stop apologizing. For me at least, it’s not necessary. End of rant. Thank you.

I think I was in a self-deprecating mood so I guess it came out that way. Hehe. I am in no way apologizing for liking artists like CSJH The Grace, SJ-KRY, or Zhang Li Yin who are still under the SM banner. I even like a lot of artists under AVEX as well. But in no way am I going to support them by parting with my money like buying stuff and such anymore. That ended a long time ago.
I was reminiscing and feeling wistful and moody and thinking of the “good old happy days” that I knew and it being summer, my brain naturally turned to the songs that I loved from the SMTOWN 2007 Summer album. I suppose that’s why I felt the need to share.
Looking back, for me, this was the last time that I felt like SM had a sane head on its shoulders (as if they ever had any *shrugs*) Heck, I can even go back to the Hotmail summer 2004 smtown album, Red Sun summer 2005 smtown album, and all the winter smtown albums in between until 2007 summer. I still have all the songs and I still play them from time to time.
There was just something in the air when I watched them back in those days. It started to fall apart after the 2007 summer album for some reason. Probably because of the Big Push? IDK. All I know is, the above will always be a part of my “childhood” of sorts, so while it might hurt and have a bitter taste in my mouth (even all my past THSK and DBSK collections have the same effect), they’re still a part of me because I came to know and love them and I guess that urge to take it out and listen and remember will always be there.

2007 was the year I got introduced to SMTown and joined the bandwagon. I was the type of fangirl who never really bothered to look beneath the surface (i.e. the goings-on in the company) and just enjoyed the spazzing (i.e. the idols). Those were fun times, but I eventually grew out of it.
I realize that what I liked about SMTown were the concepts they portrayed at the time and when those concepts changed with the trends that I wasn’t fond of, I also lost interest in their idols. I’d actually be the first to admit that I liked Super Junior’s concept during their Miracle/Dancing Out/Haengbok/Wonder Boy times better than their Don’t Don/Sorry Sorry/Bonomana times. Same with SNSD – I liked their concept during the time they were promoting Girls’ Generation and Kissing You (basically during their first album promos) but didn’t like their concept come Gee period (although the song was really catchy).

Don’t feel the need to apologise for liking sm artists. You didn’t know what was going on behind closed doors, & what is going on behind closed doors is sm’s toe-the–line-or-your-a**-is-out-the-door. That is not how the idols would choose to live their professional lives I’m sure if they had a choice at keeping their careers but being free of sm, & there’s nothing wrong in you liking what they produce/produced. Liking sm idols music/concepts/projects, & not liking the business practices of sm are two completely different things. & if DBSK hadn’t been successful at sm, JYJ wouldn’t have had a fanbase to fall back on when they made the break. It’s all relative.
Oh & to clarify to everyone, I’m not saying that JYJ owe sm in any way, shape or form. It’s sm who owe JYJ – & a hell of a lot of moolah for that matter. But the for some harsh reality is, it was sm who trained the 5 guys, formed DBSK & created their concepts & most of their songs. As vile as sm is, without them there wouldn’t have been a DBSK, nor ultimately a JYJ.

I commented on TheJYJFiles to that effect. I’m hoping they go into together and come out together. To me that signals unity and says, ‘we stick together’ no matter what. In the grand scheme of things 2 years is not that long. Once they come out, they can have a big splash welcome the way Eric did when he came out. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what they decide. Even though Yoochun’s asthma doesn’t keep him from performing, he may get a different posting, non-active duty. In any case, they will have a career to come back to. How many others can say the same.

But maybe they’re considering doing it separately so that one of them is always active in the public eye – keeping the name JYJ active so to speak? Logically I think there are a lot of good things about compulsory military service. Emotionally I really wish JYJ didn’t have to do it…double standards I know, but after them having lived under such a strict regime with sm, I don’t want them to have to go back in to a similar sort of discipline with the military. Especially when they are all loving their freedom so much.

SM is a corporation pursuing a profit. Once singers have prospect for profit, they become merely an irksome burden to the company that want to pave a road for 5 and 10 years in advance by bringing up young groups.
You better escape from the role of stepping stones. Reflect on the old saying *** (p.s. figurative expression about being worn out for usage and thrown away). I mean, it is far more important for 2 fans escaping from the role of stepping stones preparing for new follow up singers than trying to hold JYJ in check.

Tbh, I feel the writer is rather underestimating the individual activities of the members.
Would Chunnie have gonna all the ahjuma fans without SKKS?
Would Su have gonna recognition from the musical world without Mozart and TOH?

It is a nice read, and I don’t mean to belittle the effort, but what this person is stating is the obvious. I really don’t think there are that many JYJ fans, especially here at JYJ3, who didn’t know al lthis before. None of what this person wrote is news, at least not to me.
Of course SME is afraid of THE GROUP JYJ. Why else have they gone park ape over their exit from the company. SME knows in it’s money machine heart who was the driving force behind the success of DBSK/TVXQ. Yes, the entire group was the foundation for the financial success of SME, but without JYJ, there is no DBSK/TVXQ. No matter what reason is given for the continued use of the name by the remaining two, the TVXQ sound is no longer under the roof of SME. The Heart, Mind, Soul, and Sound of TVXQ is now under the roof of CJes. I still question how well the remaing two are being treated. If AVEX is any indication, they may not fare so well after all. This is what SME is sending them to for the remainder of this year? To play second fiddle to UKISS? WOW….
So JYJ staying together and succeeding IS a definite threat to SME. All one has to do is look at the numbers. Everything JYJ has done under AVEX and under CJes, has brought them more financial stability than they ever had under SME for all those years. SME was making out like a fat rat. The rat has lost so much weight right now, you hardly know it. Just go back and look at the quarterly report posted here several weeks ago.
Yes, they are making a push to try and get the remaining acts to market so to speak. They need all the help they can get. Only problem with this is sensory overload. They will have to promote like crazy. This is another financial burden for them to bear. And if these acts don’t produce, there’s another quarterly report down the toilet. Which makes their association with this UAM so interesting. I’m still wondering who made the first overtures regarding this cartel.
So, any and all efforts to derail JYJ and the fandom wiill come into play. Since SME knows it’s going to lose the case, they have to strike while the iron is hot. Frankly, I will be interested to see what they try and shove down people’s throats. Since their edge is getting kind of shaky, anything is liable to happen. Desperation makes folks do some foolish things.
The one thing CJes and JYJ have that SME doesn’t have – JYJ. Their talent is not going anywhere. It has remained strong and creative even with all the cockblocking. So once the case is settled, this talent will still be available for the highest bidder. The fans will no longer accept lame behind excuses for keeping them off broadcast TV.
So, the individual AND collective efforts of JYJ will continue to pay off. Only this time the payees are JYJ, not SME. As JYJ’s fans, we are the Miracle Makers and Miracles are a force to be reckoned with.

Right now there’s some dispute inside the kfandom regarding some individual fans (I havent got the full info yet). And this is why the writer wrote this. Its not belittling their individual work, but to remind the fans, right now, what jyj actually need is the united fans support. But we are fighting a conglomerate who will use every means in their power to destroy JYJ. Which means we fans have to be 100% united in our support & protection of all 3 of them. Here in JYJ3, most of us love all of the guys, even though most of us also have our own particular bias. But hopefully this letter will be circulated to those areas of the fandom who childishly & selfishly fight over who is the better member, who sings the best, who has the most activities. Jaejoong, Chunnie & Su’s individual activities are bringing in more publicity & more fans, but for them to stay strong together, they have to stand as JYJ, which means they need their JYJ fans supporting all 3 of them, individually & together.

Just visited SYC, and people there are bickering over the A-Nation Tohoshinki T-shirt with a big print :” Keep Your Head Down” , I can’t actually tell if those against it are JYJFans or authentic OT5Fans…(http://sharingyoochun.net/2011/07/01/trans-110630-a-nation-2011-tohoshinki-goods/#comments), I think JYJfans will just leave the OT5 to fight for their beloved 5-members, those 2vxqfans will brand us again as bitter and jealous because our JYJ is banned in Japan,(bleh).

she didn’t want to be quoted throughout the fandom, so just gonna say a bit
i asked her about JJ’s voice being unwell (as some of you guys discussed) and she replied, not at all, it’s just the style recently^^
furthermore, she made comments about junsu’s generosity, how the three are really kind and beautiful people, and a promising future for the three…ah her words of JYJ were full of sincereness and approval…she said she chose to stand up b/c a lot of ppl are losing their faith due to the spread of gossips and such TT_TT
it was great for her to stand up…she was only a staff member at first but she couldn’t help but b attracted by their personalities and charisma, so she’s now a fan^^~but she asked to b regarded as a tvx5 fan, b/c she had worked with the tvx5 b4 and she thinks they’re all excellent artists, both JYJ and HM
last thing: she said that the relationship between the 3 and the 2 is much more simpler than most think…in a +ve way.
finally, she is a very trustworthy source and she’s really nice, she’s staying strong towards those who don’t believe her and plans to speak her voice when needed.
she’s getting a lot of attention now so she cant reply to messages as much
but i think she will stand up for JYJ during low points.

Glad to hear. I hope they remain friends. Or if they cant, just go separate ways without the we said they said on the media. Its not fair when only one side get the attention to speak on nation wide, thats why the jyj fans are so riled up about.
