The Japanese OT5 stans are still the biggest supporters of TVXQ, so even with the members being down to two, it wouldn’t be farfetched to assume that most of the tweets about 東方神起 were made with all five members in mind. If the tweeters focused solely on Yunho &Changmin, their names would have also ranked individually like Jejung, Yuchun, and Junsu’s did.
This list is a sad reminder of why AVEX and SME still continue to use the TVXQ name despite losing the three more popular members. The brand name has so much power. Whether others feels like they need/deserve it or not, I feel genuine pity for HoMin. Even among non-TVXQ fans in Japan, the fact that 2 people are being held afloat by a mere name is a joke.
On the other hand, I’m pleasantly surprised to see Jejung ahead of Atsuko Maeda. She’s #3 and is a very sweet & well-known young woman. Ironically, she’s been a hardcore fan of TVXQ since 2008 hehe.
I don’t get the appeal of AKB48 but, oh well, to each its own. And YAY! for JYJ boys. ♥

I really doubt the profit for the girls are equally split, some of them are just more well known and liked than others. For example, #3 on this list Acchan (spelling?) is probably the most popular and she is going to be in a drama as the lead female and I think she has a lot of other appearances on shows too compared to the rest.
I don’t really follow them but my guy (Japanese) friend LOVES them

ahh you saw that thread too. I saw the tittle on the main page and clicked it. But then after reading some replies from SM stans, I got so frustrated and created a new account just to leave a comment in there. Dang, someone even thinks SNSD are more popular than JYJ in Japan *speechless*
