JYJ Explosive Response in Europe. #1 in Peru Radio’s Weekly Charts
JYJ’s European Tour is receiving an explosive interest from K-pop fans of the location.
Among the 5000 seats for JYJ’s solo concert to be held in Poble Espanyol of Spain’s Barcelona on the coming 29th, 80% was sold in 3 days and surprised the affiliates of the location. Further, for the concert to be held in Berlin, Germany in November, the server of the ticket website was downed as soon as it was opened due to the flooding of the web traffic.
An affiliate of the concert revealed his impressions; “This is not a concert planned by a mega entertainment company but rather a solo concert, and so this situation is even more surprising. I again felt the popularity of K-pop in Europe and the high anticipation for JYJ.”
JYJ revealed: “It was our first time doing a European Tour and so there were some aspects about which we felt fearful. We thank you for the high level of interest and we will prepare a great concert. Not long ago, Spain’s ambassador to Korea encouraged us in a meeting, telling us that he is thankful that we have come to do a concert in Spain. On top of this, to hear that the ticket sales are going well like this, we are overwhelmed with the excitement over the concert that will be held with the European fans.”
Further, JYJ was invited to a manga festival in Spain that gathers 60,000 people every year.
On the stage of this festival, JYJ plans to hold an occasion that gifts to the public of western Europe and the press of the location the attractiveness unique to JYJ.
This is not all. JYJ’s Get Out took #1 in the weekly chart for radio in Peru of South America with 3701 votes. At this, JYJ revealed their hopes: “After the release of the world wide album and the world tour, from cities all over the world love calls for JYJ are pouring in. From now on also, we plan to keep push ahead with the world tours which enable us to meet with fans from all over the world.”
JYJ’s domestic popularity is heated as well.
According to Ole Music’s announcement, JYJ conquered the chart for the 4th week and proved its popularity. This achievement is a record that was created in a situation that was different from other artists in their lack of appearing on TV, and so is even more meaningful. JYJ’s affiliates expressed their disappointment: “There has not once been an occasion in which JYJ was asked to appear. Even if we go visit them with an album there is no news. In particular, it is difficult to accept the fact that we are not even included on the charts of music programs when we are creating a storm on Hanteo Chart. Since the music programs on each of the broadcast stations cannot cite a valid reason for refusing to ask/let JYJ appear, it seems that now they are simply ignoring.”
On the other hand, JYJ will hold a large-scale concert in which 60,000 will attend in Japan’s Hitachi Beach Park in Irabaki Hyun on the 15th and 16th.

Again I really am not that crazy with having the boys appear on TV but it is a big deal to them so I get sad too…..
I really hope JYJ can do what SMTown couldn’t and that is dispel the notion that Kpop is only synthetic rehashing of western music.
Not because I doubt JYJ; their songs are great, but rather because people only see a thing or two and criticize harshly based on that. I don’t want JYJ to be judged on the impressions SMTown left behind in Europe. I want the Spanish people to genuinely listen to JYJ’s ballads and give them a shot.
The manga convention I don’t worry about. Whatever really….as long as they don’t try to put Jae in a Legolas costume or something I don’t see the problem. I’m ecstatic about the 80% sold seats. We still have time to make that a solid 100% but even if it doesn’t happen 80% is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only real worry is that Mendez guy. You better make some awesome choreography or I will hunt you down. I speak good enough Spanish so I can find you…………………..you’ve been warned anonymously over the internet in a language you may or may not understand…..WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
100% AGREE!!!!

Me too. And to a big part……even though I miss JJ’s beautiful long bangs……his shorter hair will sell them better at least in Europe. I think they have everything really figured out and if they are singing their English songs then we all witnessed their pronunciation getting better and better ^^
On another note……..sadly if you define kpop as a whole…..or just in terms of the top popular groups it is a ‘synthetic rehashing of western music’. The majority of it is a copy-and-paste of western style. There are some groups that rise above though like JYJ, Bigbang, 2NE1, etc. but they do not/cannot promote as freely as their copy-cat image-selling colleagues. I say Bigbang/2NE1 because even though I don’t like a lot of their music….they are producing at parr with artists in America instead of copying styles. I can imagine JYJ rising above though in a few years and with more practice ^^

OMG *nosebleed* JJ elf-mode would be so hot and cool *dies*
Wow. He sure must do a good job so won’t be hunt down@__@
I am glad they are going to the manga convention ^^ Everyone there doesn’t cosplay by the way! I want to go to one too one day >.< They sell lots of cool stuff….and individual artists from DA come sell their stuff too.
I'd go crazy there. I would have to limit the amount of money I brought………unless I want to be broke lol XD
I am so happy they are feeling so loved and rich and successful. It makes my heart warm and happy!
I can't wait to hear news about the Japanese concert! It should be cool! Like their own solo Anation outdoors ^^
Wish all successful to JYJ’s 1st kick of European Live Tour at Spain Barcelona , congratulations to JYJ for 80% of tickets was sold in 3 days , it make me feel so proud of JYJ !
And they never give up by any chance to perform their songs and show up at even small event or open area , although they’re so busy or so tired but they still never missing anyone of chance !!!
