<Maison> JYJ Jaejoong’s Home.
On the November issue of <Maison>, we introduce the home of JYJ’s Jaejoong.
You say that you find it to be somehow unusual that an idol entertainer is appearing in <Maison>? I, the editor, also thought so in the beginning. But when you look at his home, you come to think that it fits in extremely well with <Maison>.
His home is fitting of the home of a man in his twenties living alone. Across the board, it is decorated to create a mannish mood. Further, it is a special characteristic also that each space, e.g., living room, bedroom, guest room, and work room, has a different concept unique to its own. Mr. Jaejoong is said to enjoy being at home so very much. Therefore, he said that he thought that it would be nice if all of the spaces were to be formed in different styles, so that even when he is home it is as if he is travelling in each of the different spaces.
Mr. Jaejoong worked tremendously hard in this interior work. Even though he was in the middle of filming the drama Protect the Boss, he checked the design meticulously, and he was also good at communicating with the designer that <Maison> introduced. He also had a discerning eye so that I felt that in the future he could make a good design collector as well. Personally, as an editor, I was able to break much of the preconceived notions with regards to entertainers and in particular idols through this work with Jaejoong.
