Lots of people have asked me to do a fan-account, so here it is. I don’t really know where to start though. At the beginning I guess?
As soon as I heard that JYJ was coming to Europe I knew that I would go, no matter what. At first I was planning to attend both shows, but since I could only get the days off at work for the Berlin concert, it was only the Berlin one. Which is good too, of course.
It took quite a while till we had information about the ticket-sale and such.. Even the Barcelona date was already on sale. So I actually had a small fear that the Berlin date would get canceled, which luckily didn’t happen. After lots of waiting and nervous breakdowns I got the SVIP tickets (general + upgrade) and I was the happiest person on this world. I couldn’t wait till it was November 6th.
I arranged the hostel, train tickets and everything that I needed for this short trip. Since I was going alone I could plan everything as I wanted. Which wasn’t very much actually, waking up at 4AM, taking the train to Berlin (arriving at 1PM), check in at the hostel, go to the venue, enjoy the concert, go back to the hostel, sleep and get on the train back to Belgium. Lol.
But even thought my stay in Berlin didn’t last longer than 24 hours, they were definitely among the best I had in my life till now. As soon as I arrived at the venue I got all excited and pumped. Everyone there was talking about JYJ, singing songs, showing merchandise… And even though I went alone, I never really felt that I was alone. At these kind of concerts it’s so easy to talk to anyone.

After 2 months since its announcement, the members of JYJ have held their second concert of their European Tour 2011 on November 6th at the Tempodrom hall in Berlin, Germany. About 3,000 fans came to see the concert, not only from all over Europe, but there were also fans who flew from Korea, Japan, and China.
As the reserved e-tickets do not have seat numbers on them, fans already started lining up in front of the ticket boxes since the day before the concert to get the best seats. They slept there overnight even though it was freezing. The ticket exchange was supposed to start at 10AM, but it only started at 10:45 AM. The exchange for SVIP and VIP ticket owners took quite long as some people had issues with their upgrade tickets (people could upgrade their tickets after it was announced that more VIP and SVIP seats were added).
However, the tiring fight for the tickets was forgotten when the concert venue opened at around 6PM. People started to shout ‘JYJ!’ and make human waves around the hall as they were waiting for the concert to start. At around 7:10PM ‘In Heaven‘ music video appeared on the screen and everybody screamed. At this point I couldn’t help but get teary eyes, realizing that my dream to see JYJ was finally coming true. I waited for years to be able to be part of a red ocean.
The audience screamed even louder when the members of JYJ appeared to start the show with their song ‘Empty‘. It was a fierce performance and I could literally feel the heat when the fire came out on the stage.
