We are happy to know JYJ3.net is very loved by many fans around the world. JYJ3 is growing so fast– in less than 1 year we reached 15 million web hits thanks to our hardworking Team and also to our readers. We think we are doing a good job, but we also know there is always room for improvement.
To become a better Fansite we need more fans who are willing to support their fandom through JYJ3. This is why after long discussion we have decided to open the application process for more people to join the JYJ3 Team.

1. We want our future Team members to be exclusive to JYJ3. In other words, the applicant should not be a member of the administrative team or a heavily-committed contributor of other Fansites.

this is a good idea. i like fanproject..100%…agreed. we can do some donation on behalf JYJ3 and JYJ offcourse. or we can get something..jyj3 special gift for our boys..get one representation to SK. or we can help jyj thru advertisement. ( this reminded my cousin worked so hard for her fanproject..they get all the asian region to participate..sent the special gift and donation to her idol in sk..everyone got an autograph)

I second this….last month (?) when the service was cut for a day…..I almost went into panic mode. This is the first place I visit when I log on everyday…even before email check. The admins here are SUPERIOR !!! much love, much love~ ♥
I serously would like to work with you girls, but I don’t know korean and I’m just learning japanese; I don’t have enough time available everyday to be an administrator and I don’t have the tiniest idea about design. great idea. I notice that the Spanish fans are crazy about JYJ. Moreover, by creating news in Spanish language, JYJ3 can reach and also be the credible source of JYJ news for our South American sisters. There are a lot of JYJ’s fans too. It will also be influential to Latin countries, such as Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, etc.
It will be also a good idea to complete JYJ3 with Arabic. As we know, there are many Arabic fans. They even ordered In Heaven CD’s straight from Korean to make sure that the CDs are counted in the Korean chart.
this action will totally affect Arabic countries, inluding Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Emirates, etc. Way to go JYJ3

Thanks so much! I found it this morning on line. I LOVE the group and the song–a wonderful performance vocally too. Yay! A new song for me! I now really really like 2 Japanese groups. Mr Children and Skoop On Somebody!

I am actually not familiar with either group; although, I did take a listen to some of their songs after your post. I am sorry to say that their music just didn’t do much for me. I am sure that they are great; they are just not my cup of tea if you get my drift. I do listen to some J-pop( El garden, Orange Range, Rurutia, X japan, Suga Shikao, and others), but the majority of the music I listen to is American rock/metal, some indie and some international singers.

No biggie… It’s different strokes for different folks. 🙂 I am just crazy about this song, “Sha La La” and the vocal performance. It’s SOO unusual for J-Pop! I was sure they were Koreans, singing in Japanese at first. I haven’t really delved much further into SOS’s further CDs, so for all I know this may be the one great song they’ve done. That happens frequently in pop-music of course.
As far as Mr Children is concerned–they’re just a great great band and I have loads of their work. I think they are pretty much Japan’s answer to U2 at this point. The main singer/writer, like Bono, is also a big-time philanthropist.
The JYJ3 family is getting bigger ^___^ Long live this site! It’s such a shame because I also want to help out make this place even better but considering how little time I have, I can only do so much. But I’ll keep supporting JYJ3 and JYJers.
And like Jen suggested, maybe once every two weeks there could be a post about fanarts we can all help you collect or JYJ3 fan projects where we could help donate to this site and other possible projects. Maybe have a little bit of a special game or something to keep the crowd moving. (Like me lurking at how Skye? gets a 4th in a row first place in the GAP post). :3

I think the best thing as a fandom we can do right now is come with a plan on how to support JYJ’s new international album whenever it is released.

GAMES! Exactly, so that people who cannot afford to buy JYJ merchandises would be able to win some. Sharing is caring ^^ And the extra money that you guys pool from our donations can be put into purchasing those yummy presents. Games like guess who or name these songs, or something harder like, design a logo or write a poem. (maybe that’s a little too intense)….
Also, an archive, a JYJ archive. It would be a great thing for new JYJ fans to easily search up and watch or read. The great thing about being a new fan is exploring, but sometimes you miss a moment that you never seen before. Just a suggestion ^^. Also maybe a JYJ dictionary, where it can continuously be added by readers as time goes on.
I feel like I’ve bombarded the JYJ3 admins with all of this responsibilities. lol

@Admin: Good job, unnies ah! Well, I saw some of other big wordpress/blogspot website have a small map/statistic to show which country the access comes from, then we can know the number of fan from a certain country.
Would JYJ3 have more offline activities, like meeting, live contest, small charity groups…? Because we only share news/info/pic/vid (indirect work), so I hope in the next year, we friends can have some direct work together…

Considering how uninformed international fans are, I think after a while we should also have JYJ3 in different languages, so that people who don’t know English can still have access to updated information about JYJ 😀
personally, i think adminnie unnies need to communicate more with day-to-day fans and try to build a community.
that way, more fans will be “rooted” here and our fandom we will be better bonded.
in addition, we will be able to achieve more fan projects/have logos/ect. with such unison, and our voice will be better heard in fandom, hopefully making positive impacts 🙂
lastly, personally, i find that english-speaking fan sites on average attract fans with higher standards of living and higher income (compared with fans from i.e.. China or South Korea, *on average* I mean), so if we decide to actually do anything for JYJ, it’d probably be fairly effective, whatever we chose to do…of course, one downside of intl site is that we probably lack adminnies based in Korea, where our boys are most of the time…BUT the upside is we can show our love anywhere since we’re all of the world right? (awe to the beauty of globalization…)
of course it’s really up to you adminnies, i’m fine with things the way the are too if you’d like to keep it simple. but i can’t help thinking that, with the amount of attention jyj3 has (and the exponential growth rates ><), how great a positive impact we can make if we can formalize/organize?

you know, i really thank you admins for your commitment and actually, i was wondering how if you guys are interested in adding ads to this blog, kind of like how blogspot allows for a bit of ad revenue if i assume correctly. Heck, iw ould even be willing to donate a few dollars here and there, I just think you guys work so hard, I think admins for this site deserve a lil somethin’ somethin’ from time to time for taking time out of their life to provide us with awesome up-to-date information about JYJ \O/ especially to us poor souls that do not understand Korean/Japanese TT TT TT

I hope the team will have at least one member with fluent Japanese and English after this round, because now most of the Japanese stuff is translated weirdly (and even plain wrong) at times. It (translating) takes enormous effort and understanding the culture and I hope that someone with fluent BOTH languages would feel encouraged to apply. Keeping thumbs up!
I understand that totally…My mother tongue isn’t Japanese or English but I’ve been using English since I was a kid and I use Japanese daily for working purposes and is exposed to the language all the time…I am thinking of applying but I know translating isn’t an easy job *because I major in it* but if it’s for JYJ…I think it’ll be a great encouragement for me give it a try.

What do you mean “What’s happened?”? Many things have.
I am not an admin or anything, but I think they’ll deal fairly with a JYJ fan who was a TV5Q fan because otherwise they would not have even bought it up. But obviously, a person working for a JYJ fansite should be a JYJ fan first and foremost. If someone wants to apply for a position and is currently a TV5XQ fan, that might cause problems (such as conflicts of interests, etc) depending on how they view the members and the current situation.Therefore, they need to know what the applicant believes in and advocates before the admins can give them the position. And I would think that a TV5XQ fan would want to be involved in a TV5XQ site, not here, so I doubt this would be a big concern.
I just want to know admin’s attitude. In my opinon, JYJ’s bias and TVXQ5’s bias not always have the discord. And this isn’t right thay means TVXQ5’s fan always hate JYJ’s fan. I respect your love and your trust forJYJ althought it’s not the same at TVXQ5’s fan to JYJ. But it’s a big problem if both work together. As a TVXQ5’s fan, I do not have any prejudice to JYJ’s fan in general and JYJ3 in particular, I just only want to know admin’s attitude.

I am kind of confused by your comment because I don’t think JYJ fans and TV5XQ’s fans always have discord, or that they hate each other either… I just said that the two MIGHT have problems depending on the individual fan’s attitude and beliefs.
Why does being a JYJ fan and a TV5XQ fan mean that we have different love and trust for JYJ? I am going to give you the benefit of doubt and believe that you didn’t mean to imply what the sentence sounded like, but I think the love and trust we have for JYJ depends, again, on the individual and really have nothing to do with which fandom we belong to.
The admins welcome current TV5XQ fans to be on this site (as long as they follow the rules) so I doubt that they are prejudiced against them. But as I said in my previous comment, if you want to be involved with JYJ3, then you should probably be a JYJ fan. There are many sites that are TV5XQ-based that someone can work for as a current TV5XQ fan so there’s no reason why a person would need to apply here.
I think the applicants they are looking for are just JYJ fans, but they are taking into account that some might have been old TV5XQ fans (but no longer are). For example, if I had wanted to apply, I would need to fill out that category with a “yes”.
This question just gets to help know the applicant better. Their history in the fandom and their current thoughts about it.
Just like the ‘who is your bias’ and ‘what is your favorite pair’ question. Nobody is going to be passed up just because of how they answer these kind of questions.
It’s just that, more than being staff, all of the people who work for JYJ3 are rather close to each other and are good friends. It’s a bit of a family, so applications are designed to not only see technical skills, but also to see what kind of fit you would be with the group~

I’m really want to be the one but I can’t be the admin since I’m can’t updating everyday since I’m don’t know Korean, Chinese or Japanese. I can’t be the designer since I’m not creative either. I can’t be the translator since I don’t know the language even my English skills is quite good. The things that good is writing. THat’s why I’m writing fanfiction. I’m doubt that you need that. But, for the fan project, you can count me along. I will help it as long as I can. >_^
