T/N: This is a translation of the short version of the article which was published by Asahi newspaper in Japan. The newspaper is well known nationwide and very famous. The article was written by Shibuya Tomomi, an associate professor of Tokyo Keizai University. The article is using false information and rumors as proof to lay the blame on JYJ. Because of the title of the author and the position of the newspaper, people who are not aware of the truth will find no reason to disbelieve this.
[TRANS] Tohoshinki and JYJ after the split
by Shibuya Tomomi, an associate professor of Tokyo Keizai University.
Tohoshinki is a five-member Korean idol group formed by SM entertainment. Excellent singers and powerful dancers with great personalities who were loved not only by Japan and Korea but also all over Asia.
But in the summer of 2009 3 of the members filed a lawsuit against SM because of the terms of the contract, and now the three members are active as JYJ while the other 2 are tohoshinki. (The 3 members are still in the middle of the lawsuit with SM)
At the beginning, the voices of the fans who were calling for the reunion of the 5 members were overwhelming. But currently it is not that way.
For example, a fan that used to like one of the members knew of the meeting (which I will talk about later) and came to hate the 3 members and not wish for a reunion. Similarly some bloggers believe JYJ to be independent artists already so do not want a reunion.
Therefore, the fans started breaking apart.
Why did this happen I wonder?
The reason is, “625 meeting” which we know about through the spreading of the audio file containing the recording of the meeting. It can be summarized (interpret) as the following, the 3 members “betrayed” the 2 members and so the fans of the 5 members do not hope for a reunion anymore. The rift between the supporters of the 2 members and the supporters of the 3 members is now too big to burry.
********************
If you want to know more about “6.25 meeting” please check our previous posts (below). We know this Meeting is used majorly by Hotels Fans to explain how JYJ “betrayed” the other 2 members, these fans even edited the full translation of the only edited audio existent to put the blame on JYJ and their families.

Japanese fans have organized a petition to demand for an apology and correction from the news paper to JYJ. Please help by signing the petition.
[PETITION] Demand for an apology and correction to the Asahi Shimbun
Description:
『Demand for an apology and correction to the Asahi Shimbun published a column by Associate Professor Shibuya of Tokyo Keizai University』 An article by Tomomi Shibuya, Associate Professor of Tokyo Keizai University, contained grave factual mistakes. Although the article claimed that it was written by a single fan, the fact that her professional title was presented helped to mislead the readers to believe that JYJ are the ones to be blamed. Asahi Shimbun is rated as a first-class, national newspaper, and it has to bear a heavy responsibility for carrying such an unfair and unjust article. So we demand for an apology and correction for the article to The Asahi Shimbun.”

This is unbelievable…. O_O
In the world of art, there cannot be suppression and limitation. It’s all about freedom and therefore, there’s nothing called betrayal. Why is this still a worthy subject? Not a clue.
Maybe he’s also calling for his own Karma. I mean, you don’t knowingly do something bad, something that will negatively affect others, and espect to get away with it. The world does not run that way.
These are my sentiments exactly. This person whoever he/she is, will one day find out how the Universe/Lady Karma is going to deal with them. The path of history is paved with examples of how this works.
This person should ask themself this question. If the three members of JYJ ~~ JJ, YC, & JS are so traitorous, why is it they are beyond successful, DESPITE all the BS that is being thrown at them by TWO not ONE, TWO large entertainment managment companies? Three powerless young men with no resources other than their natural born talents, their work ethic, their supporting families/friends, their positive attitudes, the people who are sheparding their careers, and last but not least, their legion of fans. Seems to me the opposite would be true. The payback would be, failure, disillusionment, bad karma, the plague, locusts, you name it. Looks to me like the ones who are doing the BS slinging are the ones on this receiving end. And I’m certainly, not complaining.
@ButterfliesAreFree I always agree with your comments, but especially this one.
How can JYJ be such bad people and then make such beautiful music, demonstrate such love for each other and for their fans, be one constant giving machine in charity donations and causes, and have everything about them exude a sense of goodness? And amazingly they don’t retaliate or bear grudges against this kind of treatment. They are beyond admirable.
“Three powerless young men with no resources other than their natural born talents, their work ethic, their supporting families/friends, their positive attitudes, the people who are sheparding their careers, and last but not least, their legion of fans.”
and for our guys, these things were all they needed 😀 I love how strong they are. and we’ll be there with them always.

…….!!!!
Shibuya: look everyone Justin biber is bad because this Pierrot anti said so and there are some bloggers don’t like him too
: D
how did this get into the newspaper in he first place
another one of those trying to ride in JYJ’s glory eh? doesn’t this person have anything better to do?
he wants to be noticed : D
since am a tvxq5 i read 6.25 meeting and i really wasted my time for nothing how dare he say those things about my boys jyj didnt betray homin they only asked for their normal rights so stupid from him i hope jyj wont know about this
Gah…what’s with journalism these days. People are so lazy, swear. What happened to giving both sides of the story so readers can come to their own conclusions? To think for themselves. To state the 625 and this whole betrayal thing without giving a warning of it being a half truth shows lack of care in on this writers part in their journalism. “betrayal” is an opinion, not a fact so you can’t just state it plain like like it is one. Maybe the writer didn’t want to be long winded by giving all the facts. No I won’t give them that benefit of the doubt, I truly think they were just too lazy to dive deep into understanding all the sides of this messy situation and then expressing them in their article.
I signed it.
Whatever…
I don’t think this is about laziness. This was done with wicked intent. It’s what we call “pre-meditated murder”. He knows what he’s doing. His main goal is to discredit JYJ to the public. To sully their good name and turn fans away from them. It has nothing to do with laziness. I will not be surprised if he was contracted to do this.
malicious intent didn’t even cross my mind lol. Maybe I was giving this writer the benefit of the doubt and didn’t even know it by calling him lazy. It could be intentional definitely.
@Shhh
“malicious intent didn’t even cross my mind lol.”
It was the first thing that crossed mine.
” “betrayal” is an opinion, not a fact so you can’t just state it plain like like it is one.”
Precisely, if that’s the journalists opinion he should state that clearly not bandy it around as fact
he was stoned thought he was writing in live-journal : D
hahaha i jusr red my own reply i’m so funny : D
So much for world-class newspaper. Don’t these people make sure their authors have “legit” sources?
So the question is: SME bribe or anti Kpop japanese professor?
/sigh “Can’t we all just get along” and let music be music?
@plumblossom
“So the question is: SME bribe or anti Kpop japanese professor?”
I and perhaps even a few others here arrived at the conclusion after coming across a very easily attainable bit of further info on the author that she is a starstruck fangirl of Homin’s who had conducted a frankly worshipful interview with the two in the recent past and I suppose, decided either in her own mind or perhaps she was “encouraged” by managers or even Homin themselves to write the article re-stating their earlier position re: loyalty and betrayal. Basically the article isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
Is anyone else having trouble signing for this? It keeps saying wrong user name/password. My user name is the same, & I’ve just re-set my password… again. Maybe I’ll leave it for an hour to “set.” 😦
Finallllllllyyyyy it let me sign. 🙂
Are people still bringing up the ‘625’ thing? God, let it die
I can’t believe they are still using 6.25 meeting >_>
sigh~
I believe everyone its free to believe anything they want to and to chose whatever the path they decide to follow. If they don not like JYJ anymore, ok ! Just don’t use this kind of things to blame everything on JYJ.
Why can’t they just support whom they want to support and leave the others alone? They are obssed ..
And what’t wrong with Asahi? To write this kind of biassed article.
If you want to help put everything on the table: the full transcription of the meeting and the declarations of the parents of the other members of the old TVXQ too.
JYJ didn’t sue nobody’s ass but sm but everyone got on thier ass for it including yunho’s dad that stupid bad dad ass did he forget Junsu sheltered his son the least he could do is shut the fuck up on junsu’s ass.
Ah.. You knew it… It made me feel sorry for Junsu more last year when he expressed his feeling on his twitter. Such a good hearted family…
yes poor suy ignored yunho’s dad letter he continued to believe in his hyung instead but then after a long while he sees his hyung with the enemy he just felt hurt he was looking for yunho to comfort him thats why wrote his feelings on twitter but it wasn’t yunho replying to sooth his worries it was bashers and yunho even took pic with those bashers right after they bashed Junsu. like sending a message they bashed u but here i am taking pics with them cause i am not man enough to say no to them bashing my dongsae and not a man enough by a little even to say no i won’t take pics with people who bashed my dongsae. not even man enough to say sm wasn’t the one that sheltered me when i was homeless but junsu no he has to lie on japanese tv and say sm did it did shelter me before debut when i was homeless : D
@Pierrot
When did Yunho say that SM sheltered him instead of Junsu? How come (if it is true) people still insist that JYJ are liars, betrayers etc.? That is ridiculous. If that is true (what you say) then YH has reached a new low.
@MIA2
I think it was when Homin’s album came out & Yunho thanked sm in the liner notes.
That son of a….@*^%#$#
Well I’m sure this will come back and bite him on the ass. Unbelievable!
No. That wasn’t OK to say. I apologize. What is done is done.
Speaking of shelters wouldn’t it be awesome if JYJ opened one? A lot of the homeless in S.Korea are actually the elderly. It really would be amazing if fans or JYJ could do this.
they did?!!!where is that article???all the better i chose not to attend since its all just an sm scam.
i put the article its down there : D
i don’t hate yunho it just bad him nt him bad to stay quiet about lies and aid in lies himself the article shows a kind sweet sm company including its biggest share holders Boa has one million dollars yes in dollars one million dolars not kowon stock or shareholder i don’t know the term i read it in wikipidia about her being a shareholder in sm she is like lee so man soo man was a singer too a successful singer with money to build sm and buy lands in which kbs sbs and other chanells like m-net now are on top of thats why sm owns kbs and other chanel asses thier on sm land and have a funny amount fo share holdings with sm unlike boa boa herself has one million but other bc have like 5000 its all in wikipidia
here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M._Entertainment
and this about boa
look here at this part
Contract
In 2006, BoA renewed her contract with SM Entertainment until 2012. At the time it was noted that she had a shareholding in SM Entertainment of 100,000 (Approximately worth 1m USD).[56]
here is the link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BoA
JYJ saying unfair contract anyone look at boas contract then go look she debut at 2000 and her contract ended in 2006 then renewed for another six years TVXQ weren’t renewed nor had the right to earn from the company like boa does unfairness anyone ? and TVXQ were five too not one .
also sm wanted to split TVXQ and suju but the law suit happened and the splitting was delayed but then they went on in splitting up suju look
History
By 2008, all of the Super Junior members have already been a member of at least one subgroup except Kibum. Super Junior-Happy consists of every previous member from Super Junior-T except Heechul, who is replaced by Yesung. Super Junior-Happy made an unofficial debut performance on May 3, 2008 at the Power Concert although they had not formally introduced themselves as the subgroup at the time.
On May 30, 2008, SM Entertainment released the official announcement of the subgroup through Newsen. The subgroup’s first EP, Cooking? Cooking!, was released on June 5, 2008. The music video of their first single, “Cooking? Cooking!” was released on that same day.[1]
and here is the link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Junior-H
it wasn’t just TVXQ JYJ knew of the split before the law suit jyj wanted to stay together get fair treatment and the mounts they were cheated from including eliminating the 13 long going contract. Boa had six and she was the one who asked for another six with hsare holds of one million Dollars : D unfair treatment among artist – gasps – no really ? gehy (thats a dumblaugh in case u were wondering what does gehy mean : D )
@pierrot
i dont hate any of them..just the sm system..and i used to like boa..until she became weird with creepy songs like eat u up or something..i guess she’s one of them now
can wikipedia be trusted?its such a generic site..
– giggles- me tired after much talk bye bye sends u jyj undies : D

@ flutterbutterfly
by the way representative kim is Kim young min the current director of sm not kim as in kim junsu
he thanked the kim kim young min in which the other replied yes right next to yunho stating how good he was to yunho when its a lie
http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150319513118796
and this is the part
YH: I lived with Representative Kim when I was a trainee.
KYM: Yes. When SM signed a contract with an artiste, a dormitory was arranged for them before they debut. The company’s staffs would be their room mates as well as manager and guardian. (laughs) CM was from Seoul thus he stays in his own house. During training period, the kids who stayed near Seoul would to and fro from the company and home. When they was grouped, the group would stay in a dorm together. It was such a system.
@pierrot
maybe yh was forced to make that statement i.e. not allowed to bring up js’s name in the interview. :Z
and what is this dorm system..are they that poor?? like what @mia2 mentioned? especially now only 2 left. all squashed together with managers..all to keep a watchful eye on them huh in case someone runs out and rats on them? smh btw i love your nick @pierrot ^^ totally LOVING the song right now 😀
– giggles- me tired after much talk bye bye sends u jyj undies : D
@my sis BAFfie
” As Mahatma Ghandi says…all those who do evil, get it in the end. That’s the way it always happens. Trust me dude, I’ll take Ghandi’s word over yours any day!”
All I have to say is this: Brian Joo and Hwanhee. They got kicked out of SM when they approached 30 and both of them were arguably the best singer/performers SM ever had. How to they stack up against YH&CM???
NOT VERY WELL.
everyone who wants it this is where the article is from
Nikkei Entertainment October 2011 Issue – Kim Young Min x BoA x Tohoshinki

and the answer is i didn’t read it from yunho thanking sm i read it from here
http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150319513118796
part of the interview is yunho said the current director sheltered him before debut and thats a lie but it to make sm save face in front of the audience in japan so people think kindly of sm.
i don’t know if he said it in the interview really he might have but i don’t know
hope u read this post : )
@Pierrot
You went off like a bomb!! 😉 I admire people who can laugh at themselves, & also admit it if they are wrong & can apologise for it, which you can. I should really have kept my mouth shut & stayed out of it, but cause I love JYJ3 so much, I’m very protective of this site & of the admins. That’s what annoyed me, not the YooSu links you posted. So, I apologise to you as well. 😀 I love your username btw – Pierrot is one of my very favorite JYJ songs.
@Pierrot
Do you know if they have ever tried to sell this story in Korea? I guess in Japan they can get away with this because most fans don’t know much about their history as rookies in Korea. How can they just lie like that?
I guess this kind of “lie” is the good old “lie through omission” though……
It could be that Yunho lived with KYM for awhile so it wouldn’t be an outright lie but it is still less than honest because he lived with Junsu too. And how come they don’t ever mention in Japan that as rookies SuJu, DBSK AND the managers all shared a dorm. ‘Cause you know that is wrong SM. tsk tsk
@ Sapphire
gehy -me laughing while feeling embarrassed – please don’t apologize u didtz nothing wrong even if it was wrong – ust saying if – ur reply was peaceful no one has the right to reply unpeacefully towards u , ur well behaved role modle i should have reply peacefully like uz i noticed ur replies ur a role modle iz felt embarrassed and bad abouts u i also felt iz can learn a bit manners from u
iz glad there are like u in this site who support admin cause i was nasty to them : D but they explained they post what comes out they just said it in a scary way i was : D i just missed him allot that day i was like where is Junsu i want him now now now now now now now .
u like Pierrot lyrics too me too : P my favorite i like Sappire too it sound gentle but uz gentel person too : )
@Pierrot
Your rant made me stop & think about myself actually, cause I’ve been known to jump the gun & tell people off more than a few times myself. *sorry MIA2* None of us is perfect, but JYJ3 is definitely a place full of good role models, & I learn a lot from the people here. & don’t be embarrassed. I think most of us here have posted a comment or two we wish we could retract once we’ve calmed down! 😉 Welcome to the family btw. 😀
@Mia2
eyes don’t know if it ever got in korea if it did we’d know won’t we
its in japanese and u guess it like me they do it in japan cause they know they wont be exposed over there. the thing is KYM is the director of sm thats a lie a manager would shared with a rookie if they did let rookies share dorms but they he that kym is a liar a big time liar and yunho never said he shared with a staff or director when he was homeless he would have if it did happen back then he was young and innocent but now he is controlled by his appa and the director and boa they have a hold on his butt i can feel it some people can’t rise up to authority like jyj yunho couldn’t he probably hates how hopeless he is. maybe he wants to believe his father is supporting him his appa is a bad ass who lets his son homeless twice when he is just a kid and the first time what because they need to pay his sister’s tutor ? wtf diss the tutor he throws his son in the cold to throw salt on the snow then at night yunho went to sleep on bench, thats why i always end up forgiving yunho he’s a poor sole he doesn’t harm when left alone but when his appa and sm tell him something he goes doing it even inside he might be kicking himself for it. but i hate how weak he is to please his appa he hurts junsu to please sm he hurts junsu i can maybe just maybeeeeeeeeeeee maybeeeeee i overlook his appa cause thats his appa but i can’t overlook yunho hurting junsu to please sm the enemy arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh – i feelz like an oggert : D
@Pierrot
As one who had some things to say to you, I offer these…
“Friendship isn’t a big thing – it’s a million little things.”
“One who looks for a friend without faults will have none.”…applies to me. 🙂
Can we start over? I would like to. 😉
@Sappire
” I think most of us here have posted a comment or two we wish we could retract once we’ve calmed down! 😉 Welcome to the family btw. 😀 ”
ur such a warm cuddly sweet heart
thank u : )
@butterfliesare free
dudat start what over : D i don’t have a good memory did u bashes me : P is okay i deserved allot of scoldings that day i don’t like bad words towards me but i don’t mind getting scolded i actually learn from it : D
so all is well child all is fine : D seriously i’m finez wid u want to smell junsu’s shorts wid me : D sorry i meant it in a good wayz i swear but sorry if i seem er nasty : D i don’t really have his shorts : (
but if u don’t mind nasty uz and i can team up as stylists at c-jes and grabbs a few undies : D by the time they fire us for that bad styling job we do, we’d have already won a gold mind.
er i am just kidding : P thanks u darling anyway : )
After reading the Nikkei article, I am more convinced than ever the situation at SME is a cult. The entire phraseology is that of a cult practitioner. The ‘entity’ is all powerful, omniponent. We are nothing without the ‘entity’. Where who slept or didn’t sleep and not giving proper credit, to me, at this point is irrelevant. These two made their choice, so be it.
I’m more convinced than ever this company is filled with vipers and bloodsuckers. They know they are using the talent, bleeding them dry and profiteering off of them being weak. From what I can tell, by the time these two are ready for military service, they still will have no idea what they want out of life. I couldn’t detect not one original desire or dream out of either one. There certainly was no passion voiced. Whatever the ‘entity’ tells us is good enough for us. Sad.
Well, the die is cast. No doubt the image of what once was Tohoshinki, DBSK/TVXQ is a thing of the past. The new direction, even with the same name, is not going to come anywhere near close to being great again. SME is only interested in one thing and one thing only…maintaining the status quo. That is why important interviews are shared with company standardbearers, very little chance for mistakes to come out. So kiss it goodbye.
JYJ ~~ JJ, YC, & JS, thank you for coming out of that hell hole. The fact that you get to see sunshine and breathe fresh air is a blessing to all of us who care for you. Peace my young brothers. You did the right thing.
That Nikkei article is just mind-blowing, esp Lee Soo Man’s comments about wanting to encourage an individual’s uniqueness???? I’m having flashbacks to an interview I watched recently with a cult leader who thinks he is Jesus re-incarnated… NOT pleasant. & the clapping?? WTF??
@butterfliesarefree
ur long comment hit the mark
the article was meant for homin but homin placed all credit to sm and its director and Boa but especially the company as if they aren’t anything without sm as if saying if not for sm they aren’t worthy.
remember who stopped hominf rom activities ? it was sm no JYJ lawsuit while sm stopped homin jyj were doing w telling homin we saved ur spot and waitng for u we lovz u , and them refusing to use the right to use TVXQ means we aren’t TVXQ without homin.
but u see when sm stopped homin and stopped jyj from TV appearances in the music world homin got scared of this bullying they probably said wohooz are we serious about this its going to kill our career . and then we won’t have no salary period, but then the salary increases and that parents see it and i don’t know its just speculation but kbs sbs m-net maybe even mbc was built by sm
look here
Major Time line
In February 1995, SM Entertainment set up its capital fund at ₩50,000,000. In January 1996, SM Entertainment purchased
land for a recording site and manufactured its contents for broadcasting companies like KBS, SBS, HBS, KMTV, M-NET.
link here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M._Entertainment
u see they have power but fans don’t know fans broke the bounderies i think JYJ depended on us helping them face the monster
or maybe not i heard jyj say in an interview in korea they neer suspected success after the lawsuit they said they were ready to go what is the opposite of suberbs : D go farming or something .
they did have hope in fans but they know like homin sm owns everything connected to music they didn’t know it couldreach japan though but it did.
sm even went to block jyj visa to america it was working before the lawsuit but not after : D it banned them from being stars stars have special viisa u know it makes thier travel cheep because they travel alot since being a star demands it and its known around the world not just korean stars. i am not sure its a visa though : D but something.
sm even went to thailand demanding an agency or group that welcomed jyj to not welcom jyj and this agency ignored sm saying it will continue dealing with jyj even in future
but u know whats funny, this agency was put in bad situation that put jyj in a bad situation i don’t know who did this but someone posted jyj fans presents being neglected and rumors went that jyj didn’t care about fans gifts to them also some said it was the agency that neglected the presents but it was a quiet thing jyj fans were strong, the thing is sm i believe hiers nasty reporters to create rumors and capture things to create a bad image through pictures if possible.
i saw this shibuya and i thinks he might have been i don’t know either fooled through lies or convinced with money or maybe he has shareholds in sm and avex too who knows. sm playing with all cards even with homin’s fathers i think they fooled changmins dad and didn’t have to fool yunho’s dad since he’s a serpent like them they show him the money and he controlls yunho.
this cult sm is like a mafia like a dictatorial government praise me or suffer period no democracy no voicing opinion do as we want or
look here about han geng
Lawsuit
On December 21, 2009, Han Geng filed for contract termination from his former company SM Entertainment. The following day, December 22, 2009, Han Geng’s lawyer released the reasons for the contract termination: the contract had provisions in SM Entertainment’s favor, the 13-year contract length was unlawful, it would take an unfair sum of money to end the contract,
he was not allowed to request to revise his contract,
he was forced to do things that were not in his contract, he was forced to do things against his will,
he was fined if he disobeyed the company, missed any events or was late, and there was unfair profit distribution.
Along with this, it was disclosed that because of SM Entertainment’s refusal to give him a day off in over two years, he had developed gastritis and kidney disease.
link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Han_Geng
Han Geng said on chinese TV he was sick and fainted when he came to he was in hospital taking IV through a tube and a staff came in and was pressing on the IV bag to quicken its moving though the tube into his vein telling him to get ready to attend the awards ceremony something like that.
and may i add the plan to split SuJu in groups was official in 2008 TVXQ was supposed to be split then too but TVXQ all five were in argument with the director i don’t know where this came from i’l try remember but i think its from JYJ layer they tried to deal with this without going public when it started and it wasn’t public for along time but then it happened and the layer implied he sorry homin changed thier mind obviously he spoked with them too but they decided not to join then homin fathers went with the letters after this statment from the layer i think they tried to direct fans towards jyj and protect homin from criticisim by the company and also a chance for sm to put jyj in a bad spot turning the tables through the fathers by making homin seem innocent that homin didn’t agree that jyj acted behind thier backs something like that i feel i have a point somewhere but don’t know what is it : D
they don’t care about artist health or money they take their health and money and ask them to worship the company because they are nothing and will become nothing with out it.
i tottaly agree with what u said
sorry i say lots of bla bla : D
@ Sapphire
haha we write in here instead of GAPP – happy she learned the word GAPP from someone , thank u that someone : D

History
After graduating from Seoul National University and pursuing his own career as a singer, Lee Soo Man surveyed teenage girls on what they wanted to see in music groups and started the boy band H.O.T. and girl group S.E.S.. Both groups became successful during the late 1990s. Soon thereafter, Lee created Shinhwa, and once again, the band attained the same popularity and success, continuing Lee’s streak of producing successful artists. In 1999, Lee created Korea’s first R&B duo, Fly to the Sky, with members Hwanhee and Brian, adding to Lee’s list of successful groups.
However, problems began appearing in SM Entertainment following the breakup of H.O.T. Some assumed financial issues to be the problem, but the real reasons have never been officially disclosed. S.E.S. disbanded a year after H.O.T. and a few years later in 2003, SM Entertainment would see the departure of Shinhwa as well, though the group shifted toward a new management instead of breaking up and continued its success outside of SM Entertainment. In the following years, some of its newer ventures, such as Isak N Jiyeon and Black Beat, failed to attain the popularity achieved by earlier SM artists.
The agency later found new successes with many other acts. SM Entertainment debuted a solo singer BoA in 2000, a five-member boy group TVXQ in 2003, a four-member rock band TRAX in 2004, a four-member girl group The Grace and a thirteen-member boy group Super Junior in 2005, a solo singer of Chinese descent Zhang Liyin in 2006, A Nine-member girl group Girls’ Generation in 2007, another five-member boy group Shinee in 2008, five-member girl group f(x) and four-member ballad project group S.M. the Ballad in 2010.

did u get it Lee soo man doesn’t preserve he makes new in the wake of the older he make new then vanishes the old even if they don’t go to court. he uses new generations new generations would know of HOT if HOT was still being bordcast after their lawsuit. but in HOTs time there were no yutube in reality its yutube that got TVXQ popular around the world not SM or AVEX i should know : D c-jes needs to be smart and post more videos on Yutube if Brodcast don’t bring JYJ over shows then u make a show wasn’t three voices a succes isn’t come on over a success they can come up with something new and post it,they have an actress and actor now with them right c-jes need to think out of the box more. TV is overated who doesn’t visit yutube : D
and they have a website should make something better out of it. just saying untill things get better
anyway soo man is a dictator period : D
@Pierrot
No freaking way! He threw out his own son so he could pay for his sister’s tutoring? That guy sounds like a grade A douchebag. Poor Yunho!
@Sapphire
I say stupid shit all the time. I sometimes post things and then go~~~”Just why did I say that? Am I in the mood to start something?”
LOL! It is quite alright! I need to be put in my place sometimes! ROFL
@BAF
It is just sad. None of them believe that they could be anything outside of SM. It is utterly pitiful.
I remember a while ago someone named~ Daisy? said that we didn’t have to “worry” for Yunho because he revealed that he wanted to be a father and start a charity. That is wonderful Daisy but guess what? Being a father is nothing unique. It would be more odd if he didn’t have children. Starting a charity is a noble thing but with his character I have to wonder if he could ever pull it off.
Cassies fill their mouths on these little stereotypes they developed for all 5 over the years. Junsu is the funny moodmaker with a voice of gold, Yoochun is the playboy who is also sensitive, Changmin is the serious, straight-foward, food-loving maknae, Yunho is the best leader EVERZ!!! with amazing dancing skills and Jaejoong is the clumsy, sometimes ditzy “face” of DBSK.
I have to wonder however just how much truth there is to any of this given the last two years. I’ve seen all 5 do things I never thought they would ever do.
Is he an effective leader in terms of discipline? Very likely given the admiration and fair amount of obedience the 4 have given him but clearly true conflict management is not his forte, innovation is not something I have ever seen in him. Being a nice charmer with self control is awesome if you are a yes-man but the head honcho? Especially of something as big as a foundation- charity, business etc. Not very likely.
@Mia2
“Is he an effective leader in terms of discipline? Oh, Mia. You have brought up SUCH an excellent point! This is SO germane to so much of what has happened. How could Yunho possibly have been a truly competent leader for the five, given the kind of crisis they found themselves in, understanding as we now do, his issues surrounding authority figures? I will not be led by the established and accepted Cassie rhetoric which maintains that “Yunho was a great leader!” because it smacks of mere hypnotic brain-washing in light of the actual facts.
Ditto whatever nonsense surrounded Changmin. Being “nice” and a “charmer” automatically means “no good in any sort of a confrontational crisis” in actual reality or in other words “Useless” in the clinch. These two would have been extremely easy to intimidate and subdue by LSM’s threats.
Still and all, I’m very glad that YH&CM are making plans for their future. Because just exactly like them, I do not see “making music & being a singer” as one of their options.
Trying not to say anything nasty about Yunho’s father, & probably about to fail spectacularly… He sounds seriously f***** up. Leaves his kid to starve & be homeless, then insists he stays in SM’s prison?? Maybe they didn’t have the money to support their son when Yunho was chasing his dreams, & that’s why daddy insisted he stay in sm? Better the devil you know kind of philosophy. Either way, Yunho sounds like he has a major father figure complex & is desperately seeking his father & LSM’s approval. As for being an effective leader, that was never shown in the year & a half TVXQ were all worrying, fretting & talking about all of them leaving sm. Sometimes I really don’t like Yunho, mostly I’m indifferent to him, but at times I feel really, really sorry for the poor kid – & I think in many ways he is still a kid, looking for love & approval in father figures who are more interested in themselves & their own preservation/profit.
Pierrot said, “both boa and changmin were also present and both yunho and changmin butt kissed boa and the current sm director kim young min.”
You know what is sad Lili? That I actually see this happening.
I’m sick and tired of cassie rhetoric. In fact I used to think that maybe Changmin was a firecracker but I have to reconsider that too because he doesn’t seem to be able to be honest with people who intimidate him. IF you can trust what they say, it has been “noted” several times by Yunho and others that Changmin is more “open and honest” now that JYJ are no longer there. They don’t ~mention~ JYJ yet you can pick up the underlying message. So where has this “straight-shooter who is so honest” been for all these years? Do they not realize that they are also implying that Changmin’s supposed SM-crafted personality is not real? That when it comes to people who charm him as much as they irritate him (cause JYJ would sometimes annoy the hell out of him) AND are also older i.e. have more say ~supposedly, Changmin isn’t quite so honest?
It is a very subtle point. I know but it has been in mind for quite a while. Hope you can kinda see my point.
@ Sapphire
YES! That is far better. He really does seem to suffer from a father complex. I always found it a bit odd that he was so poignant on having children at such a young age. I know that there are people with a natural affinity for children but I always found his odd. Remember that comment he made about wanting like 20 something kids? It was meant in jest I’m very sure, but I can’t help but think that there may have been a hint of truth in that desire.
I also read (take it with a grain of salt) that Yunho’s father will choose his wife for him. I seriously hope this is a stupid joke cause that would be beyond pathetic. In a modern society like Korea having your daddy choose your future mate~ no just no.
@MIA2
God help Yunho if his father chooses his wife for him – & I mean that in all sincerity. I remember the vid of TVXQ with the little blind girl who’d taught herself to play the piano. She sang You Lift Me Up. I’m always touched by how gentle & loving Yunho is with her. It seems as if he has thrown away the true love & friendship of Jaejoong, Chunnie & Junsu to appease & please the two father figures in his life. 😦
@sapphie
you know that parents do set up their kids with blind dates right..sometimes when the marriageable age is due, they just get married for the sake of it..to appease their parents..not even for love. plus we all know how strong yh’s sense of ‘responsibility’ is..wish he would please himself for once.
reading all of this, I can’t help but wonder why is SM ruining all of their groups? I don’t know how it was with the other groups, but thinking how SMAP are still active and popular, wouldn’t they also want to have a group that lasts?
is it because it’s better if a super popular group disbands at the height of popularity then to fade away?!
if so, it’s a good tactic really. someone already posted this question here before, but what would have been next for tvxq? mirotic was big: the sales were big, the fanclub officially being the biggest, they were at that point big in japan too, so next album would have to be even bigger. and maybe that was the best sm could do, that was their limit. so if they couldn’t make an even bigger success, it was better to break the group up then to let them fail with the next album. of course they could not let the whole group leave, heaven forbid they could succeed outside of sm. so, they would need a culprit, someone to point finger at, so that they don’t appear as bad guys + someone to be the victim. it’s a win-win situation actually. whoever leaves is traitor, and we all know what happens to traitors: block them until they give up. whoever stays, keep them away for a while, play with fans’ patience, wait long enough for them to be missed but not long enough for them to be forgotten, enough to make it seem as though they’ve been through a lot because of the betrayal but before passions cool and before fans move on. and really, when they get back on stage, the target has changed, they don’t need to make something better than what they did as a whole group, whatever they do it’ll be enough to show “they can make it by themselves” and after that, again, the comparison will be made with the “comeback” album, not the standards the group as a whole made.
I don’t know, this is the only logic I can think of. like I said, I’m not that familiar with the things that happened with other groups, the bits I’ve read just bring me to this. and if it is that way, then to sm it doesn’t matter who left and who stayed. and that is really sad, especially for those who stayed.
maybe they needed a sick challenge..yup if only people who stayed in sm can see that earlier. but to sm, please dont think all fans are that stupid!! =.= try to cross us why don’t cha..and you’ll be egged silly *hugs JYJfamily* ^^
@Sapphire
“God help Yunho if his father chooses his wife for him – & I mean that in all sincerity. ”
OMG!!!! I just got literally sick to my stomach the minute I read that! OK, if that happens, I’m telling you all right now, I am an official Yunho …. what? I don’t even know what the word is for it. But I’ll tell you what it feels like: that poor guy. What a horrible, sad life he has in store for himself if he actually allows this to happen. THAT’S it. Sadness for another human being who just got thrown under the bus.
@jijojjang
I think it comes down to LSM believing that idol groups have a limited shelf life & he’s going to milk them for all he can get. Sooner or later, the idols either wise up & fight back, at which point sm sets out on a kill & destroy mission, or they get the life sucked out of them by the mofo of all bloodsucking parasites. I can’t remember who he was, but remember that guy who said that idols are like cellphones? You get one, fall in love with it & cherish it, but then the new version comes along & you toss your old phone in the bin for the new one? This is obviously LSM’s belief too – idols aren’t human beings too him. They are just disposable products that are good to rake in the money off of, & just as easy to toss when they lose their profitability or decide they actually deserve to be treated as halfway human. That he gets his ego stroked by deluded idiots proclaiming him as a model businessman, while he lords it svengali style over everyone is just a bonus to him.
WOW! I just realised how much bitterness I spewed in that post…
@ jijojjang
WOW! That sounds so machiavellian! Actually makes sense in some messed up way. KYHD wasn’t really compared to any DBSK album but rather to The Beginning. Tone will be compared to KYHD and so on. Yet their great flaw is that they can’t resist bringing JYJ into the whole mess too. Oh and the whole taking credit for years worth of work (and all the profit that comes with it) in the name of “protecting” TVXQ.
@Sapphire
“WOW! I just realised how much bitterness I spewed in that post…”
Bitterness? Well, yes, there’s that I guess but then again I really can’t find any fault whatsoever with what you said. So is it “bitterness” when one is merely recounting the actual facts of the matter? Perhaps not. Perhaps it is only a realist who is absolutely not afraid to Say What Is.
To All my sisters above…
That entire article sent a complete shudder through me. The manipulation factor was so strong, I had to go through it a couple of times to make sure I was reading the correct article. The focus seemed so stilted painting such a rosy picture of one LSM. I kept waiting for him to jump out from behind the curtain. Ok, Toto actually pulled the curtain back, thusly exposing the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. But you get where I’m going.
Pierrot thanks for including the info about LSM and his survey. I’ve mentioned that before. The man is a marketing genius. His business plan from day one – how to use this information to entice and manipulate a predomninately female fanbase and suck the money out of their pockets into mine. The dude never once waivered from his mission.
She’s right about how he discards as they get older. Keep ‘um young and fresh, less trouble that way. Once they get older, they have a tendency to become mature enough to ask questions, can’t have that. Only trouble with this policy…make sure your money makers aren’t mature too soon. Ah, 3 of the 5 seem to be a bit sharper than I thought. Stonewall, and bs them for as long as possible. Damn! It didn’t work, they walked out anyway. F***, this leaves me with the dregs and how do I use them to my advantange? Ergo, exhibit one…play the pity party…see how they were abandoned. Even noted ‘journalists’ who masquerade as college professors see it too. 😉
It almost worked until they began to open up their mouths and spewed out a whole bunch of nonsense that turned off a lot of people. Too late to salvage those reps. Lets just move on, and build with a new group of fans, we’ll throw the original ones under the bus, more where they come from. So, it just goes to show, all those vulnerable young females who participated in that survey, can see how much they personally mattered to LSM.
Since I never expect anything decent to come from that company, I will say this. Lady Karma is going to show you the way LSM. It may not be today, or tomorrow, but it will come. As Mahatma Ghandi says…all those who do evil, get it in the end. That’s the way it always happens. Trust me dude, I’ll take Ghandi’s word over yours any day!
@jijojjang
“reading all of this, I can’t help but wonder why is SM ruining all of their groups? I”
No, actually I think your assessment is pretty much right on the money. When an unknown teenager signs to SM they get the LOWEST POSSIBLE monetary deal and terms. They are an untried act. So if they hit, that means MAXIMUM returns for…. SM. Very little for the group of youngsters. Once this contract finally expires and/or, like JYJ they demand a re-negotiation of terms, then it’s a threat to SM’s ability to bilk all their other acts of maximum profits with perfect impunity. So that’s where SM comes down on said act like the Wrath Of God. To hopefully bring them back into line and to discourage all the other SM acts from trying such a thing. It’s simple really, when you understand the dynamics behind the situation.
@lilibaiyu
It literally breaks my heart to even consider that Jae, Chun or Su might have ever been made to feel like disposable cellphones easily thrown into the trash & forgotten when the newest glitzy model with all it’s updates comes out. I just want to hug them so tightly & reassure them that this fanbase isn’t going anywhere. That simply by being who they are, they’ve earnt my undying love & respect, that for me, they make my world a better place simply cause they exist.
@Sapphire
“Sometimes I really don’t like Yunho, mostly I’m indifferent to him, but at times I feel really, really sorry for the poor kid – & I think in many ways he is still a kid, looking for love & approval in father figures who are more interested in themselves & their own preservation/profit.”
I so totally totally agree with you–I think your analysis is exactly right. Yunho’s father was just scared as hell that, far from being able to count on his son as an supplemental income source for himself in his old age, the kid was going to go out on his own, fail and need to move back home! These people are only thinking about themselves and counting on the societal patriarchal model to fill in the gaps and reinforce and justify their own weaknesses.
@lilibaiyu
Yunho’s father has probably convinced himself he is doing, & has always done, what is best for his family. Maybe he has… although to my eyes that is dubious. But LSM? The way he preys on these kids, & it’s so much worse because they are innocent, naive kids chasing their dreams, uses & exploits them, mind f*cks them, then just tosses them out like used toilet paper… it’s indescribably horrendous. & the tactics he uses when he has a need for these kids is so cult-like. I’m so relieved JYJ got out when they did, & that they have the ability to see through the lies & question authority when their guts tell them too. & I’m really sorry for the ones who stay. As much as I despise sm, it would be a relief to hear of a genuine story of an idol leaving sm at the end of their run & living happily ever after, with or without a career in the industry. Because right now I’m wondering just how many broken people with broken lives LSM has left behind him without a shadow of a conscience & nary another thought.
@Mia2
“Oh and the whole taking credit for years worth of work (and all the profit that comes with it) in the name of “protecting” TVXQ.”
No, the thing they are “protecting” is the profit– all of which is SM’s. That, I’m sure, was the trade off. “We’ll promote you like you are the real TVXQ for a while and in exchange, you do EVERYTHING you can to keep the fans excited and buying product.” Honestly — I really think it’s as simple and straightforward as that. SM wanted every last penny they could squeeze out of the fanbase and YH&CM wanted to go on believing that they could really have a career for a while longer.
honestly i cant imagine yh + cm being that..excuse me for saying this, daft. please tell me that sm doesnt keep them in the tight loop of dirty truth, i will at least have some reason to feel a bit sorry for those boys. if they know and stay intentionally..then i really have nothing much to say. oh ya maybe this: please wake up!! how they can stay on abiding sm sadistic rules is beyond me. i guess they dont bite the hand that feeds them.
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
Your wondering about HoMin’s willingness to abide by the ‘dirty truth’…this is exactly what they are doing, in exchange for the security of having an income. Over the years all five were subjected to verbal and physical abuse. Worked until their tired bodies looked like they were going to drop dead on the spot. Finally, being told there is no money because of expenses. This after having completed a successful experience in a foreign land. All five of them experienced this together, it did not happen in a vacuum. So yes, they are fully aware of what they are doing. Again, it is their choice, no amount of dodging will erase the fact that they are going to go along with the party line.
The only reason I have some smidgeon of symphathy for them is because as human beings, I know we all have frailties. Not everyone is cut from the same cloth. So, they are missing a few pieces of their backbone, and cannot stand up as straight as JYJ. But if the day ever comes, and they are able to say enough is enough and walk out the door of SME, I will say to them, well done, and wish them well.
@BAF
thanks for your insight. ^^
i just cant seem to fathom what on planet earth could have caused them to change theirs minds so quickly..its incomprehensible to me.
oh well after all’s said and done..i’m ready to move on to whatever makes JYJ happy.
@BAFfie
“So yes, they are fully aware of what they are doing. Again, it is their choice, no amount of dodging will erase the fact that they are going to go along with the party line.”
I’ll make this brief because I know that the minute I say ANYTHING about YH&CM the lurking copy, paste and disseminaters to points elsewhere are going into spasms. Of course they knew, everything, right from the very start, they knew what the deal was and what the terms were of both choices. They both seem intelligent and they weighed their options, I’m sure. The five young men were closer than brothers and must have discussed their grievances endlessly among one another before they ever did a thing. We haven’t had a TVX2 person here in awhile floating that old familiar rationale that they “didn’t know about the lawsuit” or even “they’ve been forced to keep silent about it since then” and that’s good news because it’s ridiculous to even consider those as plausible reasons for their actions.
@BAFfie
“Your wondering about HoMin’s willingness to abide by the ‘dirty truth’…this is exactly what they are doing, in exchange for the security of having an income.”
Yes. An income a tiny fraction of what JYJ is currently enjoying. Let’s be real–compared with JYJ, they chose A Pittance.
And CM is going to spend the rest of his life “proving his decision was the right one??” That’s just sad and if you don’t mind my saying so, more than a little stupid. There are all kinds of people who make bad mistakes in their lives: they pick themselves up, dust themselves off, figure out exactly where they went wrong and what they need to do next and GO FORWARD. Then there are people who make a mistake and seemingly never recover from it or try anything ever again. They stay “stuck” in failure mode. They become paralyzed in this attitude and bitter because they hate those who are moving ahead with their lives. It’s pretty obvious to me how the 5 members have made their choices and how that’s turned out for them.
This post is actually for Sapphire, but I couldn’t find the right reply button (lol):
“Either way, Yunho sounds like he has a major father figure complex ” (but in regards to the marriage topic)…
I think this is one of the reasons he’s said in interviews he wants a “woman who will ‘lead’ him”. He’s so used to daddy telling him what to do, I don’t think he’d know how to be the “strong one / decision-making one” in a relationship.
@plumblossom
It’s really sad isn’t it? Whatever the future holds, I hope both Yunho & Changmin find true love & happiness.
I love your name^^
sometimes i question the 6.25 meeting…. like why would they record themselves having that suppose meeting…. idk i always felt that was odd.
anyhow, i sign the petition. hopefully they will correct that article.
It was someone else that attended the meeting that recorded it to show to other fans that were not able to go.
why would they want to show the fans….. that doesn’t sound like something they would want to do…. and who is this somebody, and why were they in the meeting…. and why they thought it would be okay to record this.
such delicate matter like this, i think they would only keep it to themselves and only important ppl would know… cause surely they wouldn’t have wanted this meeting to be spread all over the place. idk this whole thing smells fishy. before i never said anything but now that things are more calm, i just say it. that whole meeting is fishy. the fact there is “audio recording of this meeting” is fishy.
Your question is kind of like asking “why do fans record live videos of the artist performances at concerts?”
Uh it’s to keep a record and to share it? I don’t find anything odd with it. You know the game telephone?
Rather telling someone in your own words what happened (risking telling half truths) you can just record it dead straight from the horses mouth and share it and have them to come to their own conclusions. Just like a video recording of a performance and they tell us not to record those and we do anyway to share lol.
You’re stating your suspension as if assuming Junsu’s father, Yunchuns mother and Jaejoongs sister were aware
that they were being recorded. I don’t think they were. It was a simple fan admin who decided to record this and share it.
Did you read the full transcript of the meeting?
Junsu’s father mentions exactly what you just said. That they didn’t
want their words to be on the front of fan sites as ‘official’ news. They
said to keep it personal. They did not want it to spread all over the place.
They just wanted to inform fans and to at least say that at the time some rumors were false.
I totally understand their stance.
A fan just so happened to record it and it just so happen to do the opposite
and exactly what Junsu’s father wish it didn’t do, cause more rumors.
@shhh i think u misunderstand me, i wasn’t saying that they knew they were being record, i really doubt they did. i just find the fan to be something for recording the meeting. its not like a simple matter like sharing live recording of a concert but delicate situation that had a lot negative rumors for jyj and their families.
@Taah is that common? for the family to send invites to major fansites to discuss about things like this?
I guess the reason why i am like this is cause of something my korean friend said about the korean fandom. My mind been spinning since then.
@shhh i can see why u miszunderstood me. ah my english fail is just so grand. anyhow thanks for discussing things with me. i really was trying to figure out why they would record this. by using the they, i made it sound like i meant the family when i meant the fans that was to the meeting.
@Mari_sol It was pretty common for the DB5K fandom. It’s similar to how the fansites are able to organize gatherings and have JYJ/DBSK’s parents/relatives attend(Jaejoong’s Hero Festival for example). I believe that amiable contact is maintained between major fansites and their parents.
@Mari_sol Oops! I didn’t answer your question. XD Usually these invites are for happy, not serious events like birthdays. JYJ’s parents knew that the rumors were starting to affect JYJ real-time and wanted to address them within the fandom so they organized the meeting on relatively short notice.
@Mari_sol
It doesn’t necessarily mean anything fishy was going on with this meeting being recorded. Print journalists record their interviews with celebrities, so they write up the truth of what the celebrity said, rather than the journalist remembering bits & pieces & ending up accidentally putting words in the celebrity’s mouth. That could be the simple reason why the fan site admin recorded the meeting tbw. & it’s just as well it was recorded, cause even with that recording existing, there is so much BS & lies, flying about over the 625 meeting. It would have been 10 times worse without any recording at all. 🙂
hmm what did yoyr friend say about the fandom ::curious:: just say it even if its negative, ibe heard sum things too… I think we can handle it 😀
An invitation was sent to all major DBSK fansites saying 1)there would be a meeting attempting to clear up the (at the time) recent rumors regarding a possible split-up and possible internal problems withing DBSK and 2)representatives who wanted to attend could attend. One representative of a fansite recorded the meeting and brought it back to their fansite to share with them. It was spread and altered (as on TrueTVXQ). JYJ3 spread an unaltered version, as you can see through the posted links.
oh my…
lol…he only heard the HOTEL girls
based on what he wrote that JYJ were betrayers?
based on 6.25 meeting? that all is bullS**t
after the initial irritation, we’re back to being rational again .. why do we even bother with these b@stards? this is not the first time people have maligned our boys .. I doubt this will be the last .. let them be .. people will believe what they want to believe .. it has been two years when our boys stood up for what they believed in .. i imagine a lot of people were already putting their bets on how long JYJ will last under the pressure that sm will exert on all angles .. two years and our boys have never been better, more mature and more respectable .. they have proven themselves more than capable to withstand sm’s bullying .. this article does not even come close to the dirty tricks sm has thrown our boys .. just a pathetic excuse of an article under the guise of journalism which i feel is just riding on JYJ’s popularity .. after logic has settled in, this author is pretty much a worthless piece of sh!t in most of our eyes.
Exactly…
agreed
Thank You!
wait… what? I read the 6.25 meeting and no where in there did it incriminate JYJ. wtf. if anything that meeting should have shed light to jyj innocence and sm’s corruption. fuck…
SIgned it.
Everyone pleaae sign it.. Lets we spread the world..!!
Yes.. Please sign, let your voice be heard…
And lets stay positive. Direct our energy and resources toward making a positive impact through the JYJ Mango Tree Project.
this!
ALREADY DID。。。。。。。。。TWITT THIS OUT GUYS
How many signatures do we need? I’ll try my best to spread the word around.
Tumblr and twitter, let’s go! (I found that the best use of twitter is for JYJ. LOL.)
Guys, please sign it . I’m just disappointed that not too many Jp fans join this petition .
How would you know they didn’t? Lets not point fingers and just do the best we can.
Because i followed this petition when it started in twitter. This petition was started about 1 month in Jp site which conducted by JYJ TheirRoom and today is the last day for them to submit this petition.
Well, some are either not aware of it (I just found out about this myself). And/Or. Two, it is written in english only (is there a japanese version of this petition?) Many ppl would not want to sign something they do not understand.
Please sign it and spread it . Today is the last day for this petition .
takte nmn… ang tanga lang… at ang adik nya kung nagpapagamit sya….
so much for assuming that Japan fans are getting enlightened with the truth of the situation… damn… if this journalist cares for her career, she will do something abt this while she still can… but if the unseen forces and the face of money are more powerful in her eyes, then let her ruin her career… JYJ is a force to reckon with, and I hope she doesnt learn this the hard way… tsk tsk tsk
I reread over all the links this article provided about 625. I’m upset all over again. Yet excited to do something about it.
“Similarly some bloggers believe JYJ to be independent artists already so do not want a reunion.”
If it meant losing their freedom and going back to SME, then hell no. There’s not way a reunion could happen.
after reading the whole 625 meeting summary, i need to rant:
fandom conflicts between dbsk trio and dbsk duo needs to stop. I believe that the 5 of them made their respective decisions considering all factors, their future, their families etc. They do not intend to hurt cassies/fans in any way.
So to fans who support all five members of TVXQ, continue to do so.
To fans who support yunho and changmin, support them but also support jaejoong, yoochun and junsu.
those who support JYJ should support yunho and changmin too.
Your support is their future, their advancement in the music industry. all five of them poured in so much work to become successful singers. when they debut in japan, they sang at small stages. but they continue to work hard, and were finally able to have their own concert in tokyo dome.
please, support all of them.
the five of them have such great talents. they shine among all of other kpop artists.
all five of them have looks, personality, talents and the most important thing, a good heart. they all love their fans, i can see that so, so, so much.
don’t ever let such talent go to waste.
and if you think about it, at the end of the day, we are all from the same family.
This is where a lot of fans will disagree with you.
Many fans on here became fans after the split, drawn in by the boys solo activies or their new songs.
It’s unfair to make them support two men that they might not have ever heard about and really don’t have anything to do with the group that they fell in love with. They supported JYJ as JYJ, so no need for them to have to support TVXQ too.
And on the other hand there are many people here, like myself, who were fans of the five member TVXQ long before the split who do not want to support Yunho and Changmin now.
Maybe they were always our least favorites and we just kind of grew out of them; maybe we were hurt by the lies they said about JYJ on public TV–lies that forced Jaejoong to have to respond on twitter because he had no way else to. Maybe we were hurt when they compared our idols to animals–migratory birds at that. Maybe we are sick of TVXQ fans constantly trying to put down the hard work and efforts of JYJ, to have our idols labeled as “betrayers” constantly.
Or maybe we simply do not enjoy the music that TVXQ is putting out now. We cannot be blamed for what we think, and therefore we cannot be forced to follow a group that we either a. dislike greatly or b. could care less about.
We are not the JYJ members. We have not spent the past 7 years living with those two other men. So you cannot expect us to be attached to them even if the members of JYJ have good memories of them. As a fanclub, we love our idols and protect them. That is /all/ that we have to do.
TVXQ was a good memory. They are the place that JYJ came from and now JYJ has grown and continues to make me proud every single day.
I am a JYJ fan and I cherish their past, support their present, and protect their future. That is all.
A +++++
especially this..
” TVXQ was a good memory. They are the place that JYJ came from and now JYJ has grown and continues to make me proud every single day.”
” I am a JYJ fan and I cherish their past, support their present, and protect their future. That is all. “
at a new fan, totally agree with you…..I dont know other two,their music not my type either..so i dont hate, bash them but i dont support them too, just simply like that!!
I remember being 0t5…
But after those interviews Yunho and Changmin did (some of y’all forgot! and not to mention it was some tomfoolery going on with translations so y’all might not have gotten the first real translation of the interview)
I understand both stances…
but I chose to ride with JYJ why? Cause I am for their cause. I agree with their reasoning more than Homin’s.
And that’s it and there’s nothing else to say. I like some songs off kyhd. I have yet to listen to Tone.
I do not respect SME once so EVER. And homin is under SME. If I support Homin, I support SME. I don’t want to do that.
Their actions speak so LOUD by staying with SME, and ppl just refuse to see it.
Sorry but this is guilty by association.
I wish them the best though when their contract expires and they don’t renew and
they move on from SME at 30 lol.
We can support who we want. But no bashing. I hate that because it’s like when one member JYJ fans have wars so annoying and uncalled for, which is what I don’t do.
So fin.
i think we will never truly understand why they stayed behind..we’ll never know the real reasons cos SM controls every damn thing..save for their zombified expressions, probably. they might have hidden laundry behind the scenes that SM can threaten to expose and blackmail them who knows..it also might involve parents..sigh.but i understand the guilt-by-association theory. we’ll just wait and see what happens. i hope they don’t renew too. even if they don’t reunite with JYJ..being their own independent duo is better than SM’s puppets.
IM TOTALY AGREE.
I consider myself a big fan of DB5K but they not longer exist, people just have to accept it. They are a beautiful memory, i still love to listen their songs…..but right now my loyalty is with JYJ. People must stop thinking about Homin and JYJ as the same group, damn it, they are not!!! Cassies i love u but u need to stop being delusional, they are at differents paths now, if u want to support both grops its ok, but please stop refering at them like they are the same group, ist kinda annoying.
but why does Jae still leave his twitter as JYJ from TVXQ if they truly don’t see them as 5 anymore..smh
@flutterby Allow me to answer your inquiry then.
Jae leaves the phrase ‘JYJ from TVXQ’ in his twitter as a simple acknowledgement of what was, of where they came from, and how they got where they currently are now. One cannot simply dismiss what was, that’s a given. To say that JYJ came out of the wood works solely by their own sweat and efforts is absurd, and I’m sure everyone in the family knows this. What everyone in the family also knows is this: just because Jae left that phrase in his twitter doesn’t mean he’d rather be stuck in the past. I am in no position to claim that Jae never wants to come back toTVXQ – in the same address, the same goes for Yoochun and Junsu- however, what I can say is this. Jae himself also stated that from now onwards, he wants to be acknowledged as JYJ. I don’t understand why most Cassies turn their heads on statements like these- I’m sorry to generalize once again, but seriously, it’s like the majority of OT5s purposely ignore the things that contradict what they want to believe. Jae acknowledges TVXQ as his past, a precious memory that formed who JYJ are now, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they want to be stuck there.
‘JYJ from TVXQ’ is a phrase used, you can say subjectively now, because for him -and some others who think like him- TVXQ will always be five. That’s all there is to it. Moreover…since I’m already at this, let me add one more. ‘Always Keep The Faith’ as Jae stated, and I quote directly, ‘means to always keep my beliefs and principles’. It’s kind of funny how OT5s throw that phrase around. It doesn’t exactly mean what you guys profess it to mean, but let me stop here. I don’t want any fanwars. ^^;
haha no worries @yurei! ^^ fanwars are a waste of time; they encourage spite and don’t promote any friendship. btw thank u for answering to my enquiry! it helped me paint a clearer picture..although i’ve not heard it through my own ears whatever Jae said before about the AKTF and TVXQ issues, there are many people who have mentioned it before. i also have no reason to doubt. i enjoy their songs as 5 and still do..i also enjoy JYJ’s songs now..but even more, them as genuine humans who have such compassion for others. that to me, is the main reason why JYJ deserve my support and got it. ^^
yes protect them..by letting them see our unwavering support..that they have us who appreciate them amidst all thats happening.
“I am a JYJ fan and I cherish their past, support their present, and protect their future. That is all.”
Love this A++++
I am a relatively new fan, drawn to JYJ and eventually TVXQ5 after watching sungkyunkwan. Yes, i loved tvxq5 songs and i believe all five were good together and for quite sometime, i really wished that they would go back as five as i have missed out on everything about tvxq5. However, my heart settled with JYJ. I find these three individuals to be full of strength, integrity and just the willpower to stand up for what they believe in. I am a JYJ fan because I believe in what the boys are fighting for.
I REFUSE TO SUPPORT OTHERS WHO KISS THE ASS OF THE VERY SAME AGENCY OUT TO DESTROY MY JYJ.
I doubt that one can equally support both. You’ll eventually love one and hate one, well not hate but be indifferent. I just hope fans won’t be stuck in the old TVXQ nostalgia, the boys have moved on, so should the fans.
End of discussion!
A+++++++
super agree what you said, may be just don’t the music of TVXQ 2, mybe hurt by the lies they said about JYJ on public TV–lies that forced Jaejoong to have to respond on twitter because he had no way else to. I am a JYJ fan and I cherish their past, support their present, and protect their future. Only supoort my beloved JYJ, they needed and worth to be love my all my effort^^
VERY WELL SAID.
Every bit of it.
@Guest
Brilliantly put! ^___^
As Juno mentions further down, at the end of the day, JYJ & Homin are two different groups now, & I became a fan of JYJ as JYJ. Although I love many old TVXQ5 songs, I’m indifferent to Homin’s music.
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
You can see Jae himself explaining that his AKTF tattoo means always be true to his principles & beliefs in the Elle making of assassin shoot. Just beware of MAJOR JAE HOTNESS alert distracting you from what you’re looking for!! 😉
thank u @sapphie! will go check it out! ^^ oh mann..jae is reallyyy growing on me…dammnnn..is it weird that i fantasize about him before i go to sleep..*blushes* :xxx
MTE. Thanks a lot for saying this, I’m tired of people telling me I should support Yunho & Changmin because I liked TVXQ5. I have nothing to add because you already wrote everything I was thinking 🙂
@Guest
I agree with your assessment of this situation of being told we “should” support all five. I’d like to add on other small point: music is an art form and one’s likes and dislikes are personal to them. Everyone is free, completely free, to like whomever they like and leave the rest be. @Amy saying that the five members all worked so hard training all of those long years and so should be supported equally is a somewhat naive point of view, it seems to me. Music is not judged to be worthwhile by “how hard the musician has worked at it” but by its inherent excellence. This is not kindergarten where all the children get a gold star for trying their best, these are all professionals working in a very cut-throat entertainment business. For some of us who have followed the musical progress of the former members of TVXQ for quite a while now, YH&CM fall far short of the mark of being considered artists we wish to listen to.
JYJ is a separate group
i became a fan after a JYJ members drama
Why should i be told who to support?
Isnt that a little arrogant to assume everybody is cut from the same cloth?
Are all Hottests Jaywalkerz and vice versa?
a better question is, why the hell should a fan of one group support another group just because the group that they are a fan of used to be in that group.
Doesnt it sound stupid to you?
There are fans who support JYJ
a) because they dont like Yunho and Changmin musically anymore
b) they dont like what yunho and changmin said about JYJ, chosun interview, geese..etc and feel they cannot identify with them from a personal moral stand point; decides to move on.
c) they dont like what SM is doing to destroy JYJ and refuses to financially contribute to SM even though they may have feelings of sympathy for homin.
d) people that like JYJ some time after the lawsuit who are just.jyj.fans and are simply apathetic towards homin ( a.k.a we dont like them or hate them, they are for all purposes just like the other x no. of kpop groups we do not follow.)
I picked : A, B, C.
specially A and B.
The article talked about betrayal. Well, a 2 member TVXQ is betrayal for me.
But it’s all good now, JYJ feels my heart with positive energy. 🙂
@Juno
“a better question is, why the hell should a fan of one group support another group just because the group that they are a fan of used to be in that group. Doesnt it sound stupid to you?”
I wouldn’t say stupid, I’d say naive and even perhaps a trifle unaware of how the world actually works.
🙂
You are not alone. There’s this culture of hate in the fandoms ever since the split. I personally feel that some people are just feeding into what people like that newspaper writer are trying to achieve. Can’t people just be the better person in this dispute and avoid maligning others? It’s just all a mess.
i’m sorry if i had assumed some stuff.
after reading your comments, i felt that actually what i wanted to point out to certain fans, is to not hate on homin, and to not hate on jyj.
There will be haters out there, in any shape or form, no matter what happens to the world. But can I say one thing, as an ex-cassie and a JYJ fan, I do not hate Homin, but I do not respect or support them.
I can see that you want to explain your best intentions, but at the end of the day, things has been said and done, and that is the reason to that decision. So, right now, cannot respect Homin or their decisions, in any shape or form.
I agree with you.
agree, agree, agree …
SORRY!! THE ABOVE COMMENT IS MADE BY ME ^^ GOT MESSED UP W USERNAMES THANKS.
“those who support JYJ should support yunho and changmin too. ”
SHOULD is a very strong word, it implies mandatory action.
I started as a Tohoshinki fan but now I’m a JYJFan. How could I support some people (even if they’re ex-bandmates of JYJ) whom i couldn’t even find any respect. The moment they dare to call themselves TVXQ./THSK with just the 2 of them, I can’t even look at their face without a feeling of distaste. While Jaejoong inked TVXQ on his back, I can see the letters S-M with LSM smiling face inked on Yunho and Changmin’s forehead. Why? so many reasons but I don’t have to list them down, people have made their choice, I’ve made mine, you’ve made yours, so let’s just walk on the path where we feel it’s right.
Off topic everyone, but didn’t Yoochun tattooed ‘TVXFQ MYC’ on his back as well? Was it a temporary tattoo or did he erase it? Because lately, I haven’t seen it at all, and sometimes I see Yoochun’s back without any tattoo..? I could be wrong though. I’d appreciate it if someone can shed some light for me on this. ^^;
Yes he did. He tatooed it on his lower back
Yoochun TVXQ tattoo is on his lower back almost at waist line level so we can’t see it.
here :

Ohhh, that’s why. Thanks everyone ^o^~
OMG pleaaasseeeee….not again!!!
as a fan I’m free to choose whoever it is to support. JYJs parents asking fans to support all five doesn’t mean that I should just do so. the world doesn’t revolve that way baby….
after all this shit I can only support JYJ, well, I won’t lie that sometime I miss HoMin too and I’ll look up for them with mr.google but that’s that. My support, my love and MY MONEY go wherever JYJ will go.
Nuff said hmphh.
Oh, nd I’ve voted!
“My support, my love and MY MONEY go wherever JYJ will go.”
i liked this xD being honest this is da first time i spend so much money on a grop….i must realy love JYJ lol
sorry amy but my support goes only with JYJ now. i don’t want to support slavery, unfairness, blatantly arrogant companies by supporting the other 2.
Are back to the old phrase ‘if you support three, you also must support the two?”
“we are all from the same family.?” Well, sorry to say that i am from JYJ and JYJ only family. As a new fan who support Yoochun’s drama, i came to know JYJ and been their fans since SKKS.
So no thank you. I dont hate anybody, ONLY those who maliciously try to smear JYJ’s good name and effort and those bullshi* co. who are greedy and forever bullying our boys.
I think that I am not obliged to support the other two members of TVXQ. I am simply not interested in them.
am a new fan and I’m impressed this
few years they have had horrible and hateful .. hard times
they are inceibles to follow up and smile
I think they’re an example to follow
I’m going to give their best to support them
I can’t believe what this men did,and I hope he do an APOLOGY because this just freaked me out!
and I can’t believe that there’s till FANWARS! It’s pathetic! You like JYJ FINE! You Like HoMin, FINE! You like the five when they were together FINE! Why some people care about the others likes and dislikes? It’s not about who you support or not, it’s like YOU LIKE THEM, SUPPORT, YOU DON’T , KEEP WALKING IN YOUR WAY!
I have to let out little..
If the word “betrayed” mean for ppls
Fight for their right to live like real freedom; can do, can live, can speak your mind, can got what you derseve, can be you, can have your dream, can love an take care who your love..i am the one proud “betrayed”, even my english so bad but i still know it not mean like this why one of ” very famous” and “professor of Tokyo Keizai University” can write the very bais and failt information…just so shame !!!

*hugs you*
the “6.25” was the 1st article i read about jyj when i 1st search about them, and i was surprised with all the comments i read cause no matter how i read and reread that article in that site, i didn’t find anything offensive or betraying in its content..it only got me to search about jyj more and become their fan, toink.hehe
Haha, same! I read the “6.25” meeting first from that blog, truetvxq, which is clearly a Homin-biased blog (sorry, no name-calling intended, just stating facts). If one were to not read the side-comments made by the author(s?), there really were no negative things stated by JYJ’s camp. It was only when the comments were written that their words began to be twisted maliciously.
right, the comments were more malicious than the content of 6.25,, i was actually turnoff so i just listen to their music and didn’t read articles of them, because i like their music 1st(even i don’t understand their melody is beautiful) before them as persons, but in every video i watch there are always negative comments, so i started searching and reading about their story and here i am stucked with jyj,hehe and i like it.
done.
“For example, a fan that used to like one of the members knew of the meeting (which I will talk about later) and came to hate the 3 members and not wish for a reunion. Similarly some bloggers believe JYJ to be independent artists already so do not want a reunion”
I kinna agree w. this statement tho… coz I hate the duo for spreading fake rumour which cld tarnish JYJ’s reputation.
Now I m so used to listening 2 JYJ, that I treat them as an independent artiste, therefore I dont want a reunion. I m happy w. js JYJ ^~^
Here’s my take on the situation: At SOME POINT, we’ve got to put aside all of these arguments pro and con regarding the 625 meeting, which I now personally have put to rest permanently as being the Oldest Of OLD NEWS, completely moot at this point and not something I plan on discussing ever again. It just doesn’t matter any more because JYJ are where they are today, they have survived and prospered, against all odds and all nay-sayers who believe that big corporate backing needs to happen for art to be kept alive as art. Well, surprise! It’s ain’t so, never was throughout history, isn’t now. It’s a preposterous supposition brought forward only by the big entertainment agencies themselves or their hapless shills. JYJ has far transcended all of this patent nonsense and I might add, quite some time ago. This is the clear advantage of discounting this kind of bullsh*t. Any actual true, real-life progress forward immediately shows what very noxious and foul bullsh*t it is.
The aforementioned is not to say that the writer of this ridiculous paid-in-the-service-of-SM fiction should get off lightly. That’s what the petition is for, I’ve signed it long ago and I hope that everyone here sends it out to their friends far and wide to be signed also. The writer needs to retract and I hope he does. I also hope that our Japanese speaking members write letters to the editor of the newspaper that the article appeared in decrying its shockingly incorrect bias.
I was so angry but now I just gotta laugh at all the BS these people spew. None of these idiots bother to look things up for themselves anymore. “Oh, whats-his-face-with-a-degree said so and so, it must be true!”
“Some nut-job Hotel girl with no life (and a clear agenda and hatred of JYJ) gave me this translation…..it CAN’T POSSIBLY be biased! This must be true. Let me just type this up and print it as fact without checking for any other possible contradictions or sources!”
You know you are dealing with a cray-cray when they:
1. Believe that President Obama produced a fake birth certificate.
(Despite a news announcement at a local paper in Hawaii dating August 4, 1961 from his father celebrating his son’s birth. The father must have known his son would someday be President so he went back in time and elaborated this whole thing to make it seem like Obama was born in Hawaii! What an evil man!!!!!)
2. Make Youtube videos “proving” that the birth certificate is indeed photoshopped.
3. Believe that global warming is a hippie scheme to make us respect our natural environment without our consent!!!!
4. THE WORLD IS GONNA END IN 2012!!!!!
5. And last but not least…..they bring up the 6.25 meeting.
@Mia2
LOLOL I’m right with ya, girlfriend. Here’s one of my favorite quotes ever by one of my favorite authors: “A sure sign of a lunatic is that sooner or later he brings up the Templars.” — Umberto Eco
More recently though, I’ve begun substituting the word “Templars” with “the 6.25 meeting.”
🙂
@MIA2
SHOCK! HORROR! You mean the world ISN’T going to end in 2012???? 😉
Most Media people are risking their lives to dig up the truth by taking all the angles needed to deliver the TRUE STORIES behind.
Some are just depending on the work of others, not evaluating the integrity of that information.
I guess Asahi writer-Shibuya Tomomi, you belong to “some”
hi-five!
Lol I guess now I can create a Twitter account like I wanted.
Voted long time ago when it came out.
signed it.
oh god, not again. seriously, where is the “betrayal” part? if they think betrayal refers to walking out on them by following their own moral rights and principles..that’s just sad and unfair actually. i’ve already assumed the translation of the meeting to be more than a little rigged.
Done it when it was first circulated in Twitter!!
Haters will always going to hate..they will find any means n ways to tarnish JYJ’s name but they always forget that truth will always prevail, no matter how!!
That is one associate professor who cannot tell the difference between gossips and facts. So much for his academic standing.
I’ve signed the petition. I actually don’t understand why people should bother with what the parents have or have not said. The bottom line is: the contract is blatantly unfair. Anyone who cares a bit for the boys should be thrilled that they have the guts to fight it. Haters are just sick in their heads.
Could not have said it better myself. These people cling to whatever they can to distract as much people as possible from the real crux of this entire situation; These contracts are EXPLOITATIVE and CHILDREN have no business signing any of it without legitimate legal representation NOT just “MOMMY AND DADDY.”
I feel sorry for the idiots whose tiny brains are so easily distracted from what is important. If they should ever face an injustice just wave a picture of a half-naked idol or some food and they’ll forget all about it.
bwahaha well said @mia2! ^^ especially the “mommy and daddy” part..it makes me sick to my core knowing that THEY are NOT the kind guardians made out to be..and sm artists cant seem to grow some balls to leave..argh~ >.<
Done! Signed up to twitter just to sign this petition ^^ I wish people who have nothing useful to write about will just keep their personal opinions and malicious ideas to themselves. I am satisfied to see that JYJ are happy and healthy and could care less about any false rumors about them. I believe JYJ 100% and no one else ^^
so true, i doubt if this author even tried to meet up with our boys .. tsk tsk … so lame .. on the other hand, i am quite proud that most of the people our boys have come in contact with all have good things to say about them .. from the guys in sungkyungkwan, protect the boss, fc men, just recently the musical actress who wants to work with junsu because the first time she met him, she was delighted of the way Su handled himself with everyone .. It’s hard to fake good attitude and good work ethics .. if our boys are bad, then no one would be enamored by them .. our boys are real and true, so i challenge that author to sit down and talk with our boys instead of writing based on hearsay … i bet she’ll hope the ground will swallow her after she realizes how wrong she is in her pathetic work.
*hugs*
Done with an S.
It would’ve been best if we found out about this sooner cos that woman’s article was over a month old. But better late than never
Absolute BULLSHIT.
Signed it when it first came out T__T
I just don’t know if Twitter petitions really work or not..
Well I really hope they do. If they don’t, we might just have to accept the fact that JYJ will have more haters in Japan. =(
I’d like to think that most japanese people are thinking people .. loads of them attended JYJ concerts .. this kind of stuff will just probably confuse those who are not really following JYJ and TVXQ5 but even for a new fan like me, it was clear to see who’s in the right path .. if sm is as innocent as they think, then JYJ won’t be going through hardships of not being able to perform on tv or just be rudely tossed aside in the Jeju event. To be honest, what does it matter that if we are just few who support JYJ, we are a proud bunch because we know our boys are on the right side .. they have struggled but slowly and surely they are emerging from the ashes .. this article is just a pitiful attempt to stir chaos … it would seem that a lot of fans know of this 6.25 issue and have since made up their minds on who to support .. This article’s issues are old news, if you think about it, I can’t even see any logical intention in publishing this article .. it’s just there to simply spread malice, chaos and hatred. If people would change their perception on JYJ, it’s their decision. This is a free world. For now, let us just be happy that there are those like us who will defend our boys because we believe in them. Unlike others who do so with malicious methods.
I love how our boys have been very careful with the way they carry themselves. They know that every little thing that they do is being observed and can be used to target them. We, who support them should be the same. 🙂
I agree with you completely! It really doesn’t bother me that much — I support what I believe is right and I don’t need other people to agree with me to feel more secure about my decision. Of course, knowing that there are people who share my opinion makes me feel happy, that’s why I’m here in JYJ3. ^__^ But even if JYJ3 didn’t exist and those who constantly attack our boys actually had a point, I still wouldn’t need any kind of apology or correction to confirm my conviction about the situation.
What I’m worried about are the JYJ boys, mostly JJ actually. My friend who is Japanese said that the Asahi article is intended to target new THSK fans. In fan forums haters were rampant following the circulation of this article, to the point that she finally paid to read it to figure out what’s going on. And that was conveniently accompanied by an upsurge in haters’ activities on Twitter — there was this one day when I reported 6 spam accounts for sending hate messages to JJ. He is, as far as I’m concerned, the only Korean celebrity who receives haters’ messages through Twitter at that frequency and with such hostility. I wouldn’t care any less if he didn’t read fans’ mentions, but he does. 😦 He said it several times that he does.
Maybe I’m just imagining stuff and maybe JJ isn’t that negatively affected by such hatred. He should more or less be trained to cope with that by now. Still I can’t rule out the possibility that he might be sad a little bit by what those people are doing, and that makes me uneasy. =(
But if this petition doesn’t do it, I don’t know what will. There are things that are simply out of our control. What we can do is to move on, right? ^__^
I’d like to think our boys are mature enough not to be bothered with these things anymore. By now they should know that they cannot please everybody, and why should they in the first place? If homin’s agency prefer this tactic to increase their fandom, let them be. I think JYJ has passed through the worse, they’ve proven they can withstand SM’s bullying. This is just another pathetic attack directed at our boys. If JJ notices the negative comments, am sure he also sees the positive ones. I’d like to think that our boys are more bothered when its their fans who get more affected over such issues. I believe they hate the feeling that they somehow fail us. Besides, if this targets new homin fans, why would they even bother to include JYJ? Are they that scared of our boys? Hehehe. It’s their fault, because they still used the name Tohoshinki, when you google the name, five guys will appear and not just two. It’s even harder to explain why they are now two and they are still using the name. Anyone with a brain would figure out what’s right. Had Homin relaunched themselves with a different name, then there’s no need for such propaganda.
If you feel that JJ gets too much hate messages, then let’s do our part and post messages of encouragement in his twitter wall. I dunno, maybe we should make it a point to remind our boys every now and then how much they are appreciated and how much we love them.
Hehehe, tell JYJ to visit this site so they’ll know they are deeply loved and admired. 🙂
yes it is heading towards a negative path here..lets all move on now..why hold on to something sad when a lifelong road of happiness and freedom is ahead..i just wanna know why is Jae the one thats most targeted by those haters..
smh…

Oh Geez…how could they said JYJ betrayed the 2 members when they don’t know what happened exactly??
As I am watching both HoMin performing at the NewYork Korean Festival on TV, and reading this article at the same, I feel terribly hurt and betrayed as I am also being reminded by all that has happened. I want to cry and lash out at the same time but the practical and realistic side of me say that I am just an observer in this game and I can only do so much for these three guys who I love to bits but who does not even know I exist, but what the heck, I am just gonna sign. I am almost to the boiling point now cos HoMin are now singing and dancing on stage singing Rising Sun which hurt terribly because I feel betrayed and cheated. And in an article promoting MAMA in Singapore on 29th, they listed all TVXQ’s achievements, giving the impression that these two guys achieved all these themselves with no mention of JJ, Micky and Junsu.
I used to feel hurt over such, but when I look at it now I see JYJ on the better side of the fence. JYJ is already carving their names into history as we speak. TVXQ5 will always be loved by many, but for Homin, they’ll eventually come to a point where they would wonder if they are being supported because they are homin or because they’re still under the shadow of what used to be the grand name of TVXQ originally composed of the five. I don’t wish to take away from them the idea that they’re also entitled to the name TVXQ because they were a part of the five-member group, but don’t they find it a bit distasteful to be using TVXQ still with just the two of them? Am sure they’ve heard sentiments regarding their continued use of TVXQ. I don’t know what they are if they are not even bothered by comments like “TVXQ is 5, not 2, not 3.” Our boys and homin are getting older, they won’t be idols for long, new boybands are five-a-dime in korea and sooner or later, living in the shadow of what was once the greatest idol group TVXQ will be taking its toll on them. JYJ are already hallyu stars. I really dunno what’s ahead of homin. For now, SM is still milking the TVXQ name for what its worth and of course to spite JYJ. C’mon do you really believe that homin’s usage of TVXQ is because they want to protect the TVXQ name (honestly, I find this reason so lame lame lame). How the hell can you protect the name when 3 of the five has gone. This is clearly to spite JYJ. Anyway, I always say this, I am just happy that JYJ is free from the clutches of sm. Let homin take credit for all of TVXQ’s merits. They probably need it more than anyone else. 😛 JYJ is from TVXQ, JYJ has never forgotten that and they will always be grateful. But for now and the years to come, Jae, Chunni and Su is JYJ. At least JYJ is JYJ and no one can say that they’re still trying to ride the popularity of TVXQ5. (At least when I write JYJ, it’s just JYJ. Whenever I write TVXQ i had to make it TVXQ5 or just say homin when referring to the two persons who preferred to stay with sm and continue to use the name all five worked hard for.)
“Let homin take credit for all of TVXQ’s merits. They probably need it more than anyone else. :)”
Ouch haha.
JYJ fans are good speakers, I’m left to reading good written paragraphs and wholeheartedly agreeing in the end.
yes thank u @teya A++++ and yes it is distasteful sm has really thick ugly skin..no, hide, to shamefully let hm ride on tvxq’s name..
Yes, my thoughts exactly. All this talk about them staying to protect the name is bull. True fans would have preferred to see them as five with another name than as two different groups but JYJ have moved on, and so have most of the fans! JYJ, be strong!!
they did?!!!where is that article??? all the better i chose not to attend since its all just an sm scam.
I copied extracts of the article from the SGKWave website which is currently promoting TVXQ’s next Asia Fan Meeting to be held in Singapore after MAMA, on 4 Dec.
“TVXQ!, an acronym for Tong Fang Shen Qi (东方神起), is a South Korean pop group formed in 2003 under SM Entertainment and has often been labelled as “Kings of the Hallyu Wave” or “The Rising Gods of the East” for its immense success and notably, their part in creating the first wave of Korean pop phenomenal success in Asia.
Since their debut, TVXQ! has released 5 Korean albums, 5 Japanese albums, over 20 Korean singles and over 30 Japanese singles with sales of over 9.1 million copies throughout their career in Korea and Japan alone, excluding sales from other Asian and international countries. It is of no surprise that their official fan club earned a Guinness World Record in 2008 for its size, and is said to be one of the largest fan clubs in the world. In addition, TVXQ!’s latest new album – ‘TONE’ has sold 105,484 copies and ranked the 1st on the Oricon daily album chart thus maintaining their status as the most popular star of Asia. ”
Either the writer chose to take the easy way out by omitting the most obvious facts or she’s a fan but this kind of ignorance or deliberate writing makes me angry!
hahahaha..what a load of bull..really? TONE is number 1 on the charts? good golly me..sounds fake man..yeah i reckon she/he didnt bother to cement all the statements with facts from the past cos that would probably take up 10 pages worth and she would have missed her lunch break.
thanks @zarrajae! ^^

Hard to believe that 2/5ths of the group who sold more than 9.1 million copies still live in a dorm huh?
@flutterbybutterfly
Girl you are on fire!
Hehehe, it’s so funny how we all react violently to the grand sm scheme to ban, discredit or just irritate JYJ. But when all is said and done, JYJ and JYJ fans can sleep peacefully knowing that our boys are just fighting for their rights, our boys are working hard, our boys are not perfect but they are well-mannered, polite, courageous individuals who does not resort to dirty tricks (like this article) to exalt themselves. Sometimes, I even think that this supposed rivalry between JYJ and homin is done on purpose by sm, not only to spite JYJ but to just basically add value to homin. Is the TVXQ name not enough to hold homin’s value that they need to always add JYJ’s name? The 6.25 issue is all they can throw at our boys, while sm has resorted to all trickery in the book just to put JYJ down. Sm is itching to destroy our boys. But they won’t succeed. I’ve always thought that if I was lee su man, I would somehow feel proud of JYJ who may be prodigal sons but has made a name of themselves on their own. I’ll be proud that they got a good training under my wings. But no, he’s out to crush them and for what reason? I think it all boils down to money and control. TVXQ5 was indeed a pot of gold for sm, and now with JYJ out of the picture, am sure that the pot is not as full as it should be. I see no humanity in the side of sm. I wonder how all these would end, i’ve read somewhere that sm and avex are sending fillers of an out of court settlement with our boys. Interesting twists. 🙂
signed, thanks admin, supoort JYJ with all my effort!!!
Sheesh! Anything more other than calling JYJ “betrayers”? What else could they call them?
I believe ‘to allege is to assert’. We, the fans, shouldn’t be the ones carrying the burden of the name-calling against our boys. Whatever names they are we know that THEY’RE NOT TRUE. The ones who allege are more than welcome to carry the burden to look for proofs. So they better look for the BEST and VERIFIABLE proofs.
asahi son a bitch! shame you! :-<
heard of this 6.25 meeting since forever. god why cant people understand it has been manipulated?!
LMAO at this article (if you can even call it an article), poor innocent HM have been betrayed by the big bad wolf JYJ, seriously ?! Did this so called writer even read or listened to the 6.25 meeting ? I’m pretty sure he didn’t, because if he had he should have known that JYJ’s family never talked shit about HM, they just said they had different point of views and mindsets and that’s why the split happened but that they were still hoping things will go back to normal quickly. No one talked about betrayal here, the ones who brought this shit up are SME, HM (as much as OT5 still refuse to admit it) and their parents.
i am kinda tired of this word ‘betrayer’ and anything that sounds like it.these people ..ugh..there are no words to describe them.
and what is wrong with education system these days?how can an associate prof of a university writes something like this based on what he found in the internet?
i guess this person must be too bored with his own life or tired of living to write something bad about others.
Don’t worry JaeChunSu,you guys got US,your lovely fans who will always be there for you.
Can the admins clarify to this blog OMITTED LINK BY ADMIN (Plz don’t promote anti Fansites)
They seem to be showing facts, but i’m not sure because i sense a tinge of homin bias-ness…
LOL thats the biggest international anti fan site for JYJ
XDDDDDD
Ridiculous stuff
Basically a rehash of what the hotel girls say ,,, in ENGLISH
They even refuse to acknowledge that the court ruled that the cosmetic business had nothing to do with the lawsuit
But she translates official documents!! *blur*
He, “precious” will leave vital bits of info out when translating however
But even if i ignored her comments and read the original Korean documents, it does not really agree with some of the things i’v read… 😦
@ Faith
I ask you… “official document”… what more official then from the court ?
She translates court documents too, thats why im confused:(
@ Faith
and of course they refuse the final result from the court right ?
sigh..for them SM is always the truth even the court already said who is the truth actually here, no matter how much evidence has been shown but they will still believe what their beliefs because they hate JYJ. Anyway Have you visit this site http://thejyjfiles.wordpress.com/ and http://www.mission4jyj.wordpress.com
“But even if i ignored her comments and read the original Korean documents, it does not really agree with some of the things i’v read…”
I’m confused Faith. What did you read? The original Korean documents are not just the ones he posts. (It is a he not a she) There are other articles he has ignored. He will translate a good chunk of it but he also omits parts that contradict his position. He translated the court proceeding but he manipulated info so even then that is not showing “originals” because they are subtly altered. You picked up a Homin bias because he is a SM/Homin supporter.
His story is ridiculous. He expects us to believe that he was a non-fan who “stumbled” onto the SM/JYJ/Homin breakup and for some reason he decided to pick up the subject and he “noticed” the lack of scruples JYJ supposedly had throughout the whole thing. He dedicates himself with informing people the “truth” about DBSK.
I don’t think admins should omit the link… Not that we didn’t know it already, right? continuetvxq was actually the first site I visited to get more information of the lawsuit, and it became one of the reasons why I left the Cassiopeia fandom. So yeah, let people read what they want to read, they will choose to believe what they think is right, by themselves.
@Faith:
What Precious is showing are basically these:
1) Incomplete account of the truth — As others said, he specifically chooses the “facts” that corroborate his theories and ignores the significant rest. For your own reference, you can read thejyjfiles/mission4jyj to get a broader picture. The admins of these 2 sites are Korean; they provide a link to their blog on Naver too if I’m not mistaken.
2) His own interpretation of the facts — As a relevant example, the 6.25 meeting entry. Just the translation of the meeting wouldn’t be enough for you to feel anything specific. It’s not until you read his analysis that you start to have this “OMG” feeling. This manipulative tactic is precisely the reason why thejyjfiles admins used HIS translation and offer THEIR interpretation – just to demonstrate the cruciality of your own mindset and pre-established convictions in your understanding of the matter.
3) His unwillingness to face challengers — Other people who have been following that blog from the beginning can attest to this: Precious would delete all the comments that voice a logical opposition and leave only the illogical refutations to boost his own ego.
I can go on about this, but I’m going to stop and ask you to forget what I just said.
And start asking yourself this: Why is it that the Korean fans who have full access to every available information about the lawsuit, who can read and understand original documents without being manipulated by other people’s interpretations, who are smart enough and perceptive enough to make their own decisions,… STILL chose to support JYJ? Why do they still stand by JYJ through ups and downs, for better or for worse?
Is it because they are all below the almighty Precious?
…………………………………………………………………………….i think i love you…………………………..
No seriously. You said it a lot better than I could have. Precious is a mega-clown. Nothing more to say.
@MIA2: ^____^ Haha you are so cute! I lub you too <333
I made a mistake in my post, I wrote "continuetvxq" instead of "truetvxq". Continuetvxq is legitimate, except that it provides the link to truetvxq as a way to officially promote that blog tsk tsk. But I guess I can't really blame them.. A part of it actually goes both ways. ^^
Nevertheless, I hope @Faith would read what we said above. Good thing she brought it up here instead of immediately listening to that mega-clown and be…..converted without any second thoughts. ^__^
<3333
I hope so too. If she chooses to support Homin then I pray that she doesn't follow that egomaniacal clown. If you love Homin fine but love just them and not SM. I don't know if one can do such a thing but if she can then good for her.
……………………………………it would be lovely if she supported JYJ though but it is her choice.
“And start asking yourself this: Why is it that the Korean fans who have full access to every available information about the lawsuit, who can read and understand original documents without being manipulated by other people’s interpretations, who are smart enough and perceptive enough to make their own decisions,… STILL chose to support JYJ? Why do they still stand by JYJ through ups and downs, for better or for worse?”
I’ve never thought about it that way. Thanks!!!!!
::standing ovation:: applause…all the awards etcetc
Thank you admins for the heads up! I just created a twitter account and signed it. This is my first time reading about the “6.25 meeting.” All I saw after reading it was some very calm heartfelt wishes by the parents and sister of JYJ. I surely don’t know what the writer read or how he came to such a conclusion from the meeting.
Oh btw, is this also translated into other foreign languages for all to see. I took French and Spanish in school, but I am in no way qualified to be a translator. I just thought that it would be nice for European fans to have access to as well.
signed!!
i love tvxq5 songs until now.. but I’m supporting JYJ 100% with all my heart…
i don’t really like homin’s song,, it’s just something doesn’t feel right when listening to it…
listening to JYJ’s songs calms my heart~~ the songs are really good…
go JYJ!! hwaiting!!
Oh no, AGAIN? Just leave our boys alone already, jeez!!!
Tbh, I seriously doubt that by signing this petition – things will reverse to it’s original position. As the saying goes: the DAMAGE is ALREADY done, sad but true 😦 .. *sigh*.
The words are out, quote “The newspaper is well known nationwide and very famous.” It’s difficult to “undo” negative rumours like this, and God knows how far the rumours had travelled.
But that said, I had already signed the petition. I did it, not because I believe that things can be reversed to it’s original position. I did it simply to show support to my beloved JYJ. I guess that’s the least a mere fan like me can do for them. But I know they will pull through this sh*t no matter how, because I’ve faith in them, I’ve faith in JYJ, period!!!!!!
JYJ fighting!!!!!!!!!!!
yeaah..but JYJ always spread the love and good music to their fans, I believe, their music will touch everyone.. I really love their music..
this petition.. I just hope, it will going to be good result..^__^
@occiejeje
Only people who know how to love make good music, I guess ;). That’s why all the good music from JYJ .. :).
If you really follow these boys, it’s not hard to see that they are all about spreading LOVE, never HATE. But too bad, there are always losers out there who will opt for the latter. LOVE vs HATE ~~~ I choose love, anytime!!! 😉
I always follow JYJ boys!!! yaaiii..^__^
good music with so much love..
I hope the boys enjoy their vacation.. and make a great comeback next year.. ^__^
signed!!
and I love JYJ so much!!!
love them with so much love that I cant say in word.. their songs.. I love it so much..
go JYJ!! All your fans around the world is fighting with you!!
PLEASE call me ‘Dummy’ !!!!!
I gotta read the translation of 6.25or whatever meeting on “Truth TVXQ” by Precious (later i found it that “precious” is a guy :P)… When i started to read that meeting is the time when i start to know about TVXQ cuz of Yoochun… I wasnt a cry fan of him yet… I just kinda like him in SKKS.. So try to find out who he is.. . And i got to know that he is from TVXQ then shortly after that, i gotta know that they broke up.. I was quite interested so followed the case…
Ok, keep it short, when i read this article while i was not a die hard fan of YC, I simply thought that this Truth TVXQ site is JYJ biased site… 😛 cuz if u read the translation of the speech by JS’s papa, YC’s mama and JJ’s sister, it is too neutral…. Thats why i thought that site was the site created to solve the misunderstanding of the fans towards JYJ… 😀 yes, i am dummy!!!!!
When i got to read the comments, I was like “OMG, this is Homin biased fan site then why is the translation siding on JYJ??” that was what came into my mind… I guess i dont have to tell you all the answer…
I did write a long comment on what i understand after reading that translation.. I am 110% sure all the people will come and F@#$ me at my comment.. But i didnt go back to that page ever again… I dont care what they comment a bout me and my comment… I just want to tell them what i understand about this meeting after reading that translation… 😀
So well ya, thats why now i am at JYJ’s side…. Thanks to precious for the translation so that i can know what is happening.. It is true that i became JYJ fan cuz of YC but to be honest, which gave me the biggest interest in JYJ is the law suit… I followed their case closely.. 😀 thats why i become their die hard fan… Even if i dont have time to come and comment like last time, i will love them forever… Well, again, thats all thanks to Precious, Truth TVXQ and the lawsuit, oops not to forget that StupidMan!!!!!
@Nandar
Hi Dummy!!! 😀 I miss you spamming funny comments on Chunnie’s posts.
Hey, honey…
yes, i miss chunie a lot too… ah, sorry sorry, i mean i miss u a lot too…. 😀 😛 I have been F@#$%^& busy lately 😦 i cant even read chun news…. (T_T)
I miss him so much!!!!!!! BTW, where are they heading to????? 😀
@Nandar
LOL!!! Apparently the guys are in Hawaii, but no-one seems to know for sure. Someone tweeted she saw Jae in a mall in Hawaii, so hopefully they are having a good holiday.
^_______________^ like my story..HI5 !!!!!!!!!!
why not HI10????? keeekeeee, joking… 😛
LOL..if you dont mind, i give both…No…HI20 …kakakakak!!!
@anva
LOL!! You beat me to it! I was gonna say Hi20!!! 😀
@hahah..saphire..I always though i am slowest in the site…today..I won, won, won.(jumping with JJ)…kiss you my sis!!!!
@anva
Hahaha!!! 😀 Congratulations! I love you sweetie.
A message to whoever (you know who you are) that’s behind this sh*t:-
Be prepared, there might be an adversed effect to your evil plot ~ JYJ might end up with more fans than they already have, all thanks to you. The “dummy” above my comment here is one good example :P, LOL. Hi Nandar!!! 😀
kyaaaaa first line scary : D
i was so scared i thoughtz u talking to me cause i know who i am too : D
u go girl u tell em when i see em i’m gonna bite his ass off too : D and it’d be great if i wearz braces by then : P
@pierrot you are a funny girl for sure…tbh before this, i am quite scared of you~ i meant your comment when you are very boiling… i am content with all my JYJ Family members…we are different, we are clashing at times but the truth is deep down our heart lies a funny and optimistic entity that make use stick together….love you all ;p
@hodoh45
@Pierrot scared me at first too. Now I swear she’s crazier than the rest of us combined – in a good way! She cracks me up with her jokes 😀 I’m glad she’s joined the JYJ3 family.
@sapphire..i am glad too….it is merrier nowaday…in my country there are a quote~ “tak kenal maka tak cinta” that mean if you dont know then you wont love it… i think i read before, you suppose to go resting/bed now… take your rest dear and recharge then come back with your witty comment again… ;p
‘i see em i’m gonna bite his ass off too : D and it’d be great if i wearz braces by then : P”
omfg! my hubby is seriously giving me the >.> right now cause I’m choking from laughing at this so much. And you are one of my fav songs 😉
Fandom is all about whom you like. You are reading this because you love/like JYJ, PERIOD.
A+
Fandom, to me at least, is about what kind of music you like, what kind of personality you can relate to, and what principles you lead your life by. ^_^ Because all of the above, I’m in the JYJ fandom, period. 🙂
Well. well. well…. What a Small World it is!
Look at what I just found: http://sharingyoochun.net/2011/06/30/trans-110628-elle-japan-august-issue-tvxqs-everything/
A worshipful, flatteringly worded puff-piece about TVXQ by none other than “Sociologist Shibuya Tomomi”! Dare I venture a guess that it might be the self-same “Associate Professor” Shibuya Tomomi that went on to defame JYJ in the above article?? Why, yes! I do believe it is! WHAT a coincidence!
See–this is the kind of thing I have to say I almost HATE most about SM. They do these pathetically low kinds of things to try to harm JYJ that are just sooooo damned easy to research and disprove. (I did one lousy Google search and got the info in about 2 minutes of looking around.)
Check it out for yourself.
OK Doctor Lili, this calls for some serious surgery, aka Removing Sociologist Shibuya Tomomi’s lips from LSM’s butt. Do you want to take the scalpel, or should I? I’ve been up all night & half the day & my eyes are blurry. It would be such a shame if the scalpel were to slip & accidentally cause serious injury to either patient…. But then again, I might not do to well at administering the anaesthetic either, & again, it would be such a shame if neither patient woke up due to an accidental over-dose…. wouldn’t it?? You’re supposed to say yes there Lili!! 😉
Btw, whatever’s going on with you, you know we love you very much, right? *hugs you tight* & I know you have the strength, if not outright cussed stubbornness to get through anything life throws at you. ♥
omg LAWL @sapphie are you some kinda stand-up comedian or something?! your semi-serious evil doctor role-play is hilarious i’m trying to suppress myself from grinning like an idiot but failing.. XDD and seriously, what anaesthetic? *OT nurse flutterby comes in and throws away lidocaine* a lil bit of pain is always good for our immoral sons a ******* o:) nyahahaa~
LOL! You are too much!
@Sapphire
” Do you want to take the scalpel, or should I? ”
Oh, no, no–let me.. No, no….. I positively INSIST!! 🙂
Re: all the other stuff… *sigh* Who knows what’s going on with me? You’re asking the wrong person. I’M just going to lie and say everything’s peachy! But may I just once again say to Seobehrin – I really and sincerely do apologize for my thoughtless remarks yesterday because that’s really what they were–THOUGHTLESS. lol And honest to goodness, I really am also one of the have-nots with no clear way of figuring out what on earth to do about it.
But! I will survive. I always have, often by sheer synchronicity, even, perhaps, destiny.
@lilibaiyu
I think most people got that you were joking, & that lady with the pepper spray??!! O_O Seobehrin’s doing it tough at the moment, & just snapped for a sec – & we’ve all done that! Don’t be so hard on yourself Lils. *hugs* I miss the ballsy Lili who tells it like it is, whether we like it or not!! 😉 I’ve been a have-not for most of my life, & as cheesy & placebo like as it sounds, if you can manage to be grateful for what you do have, it helps you to stop worrying about what you don’t, & then things do start to flow easier. *wishing lots of money flows into your life NOW!!*
As for the scalpel, I should probably warn you I tend to faint at the sight of blood – please don’t anyone tease me about it, I’m super embarrassed by it as it is. (I actually worry about road accidents & someone dying & me being the only uninjured person yet being completely useless cause I’ve fainted!! Am I normal?? Somebody just say yes…. PLEEEEEEEASE!!!!) So warn me when you’re about to make the first cut, OK?! @flutterbybutterfly is handling the non-administration of anaesthetic, so I’ll just tie the patients down – we don’t want any slipping – nasty accidents happen that way, & you can get started. It’s good to enjoy your job isn’t it?!!! Mwhahahahaha….
YES miranda you are normal! 😀
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
It’s Sapphire, not Miranda! LOL. Now I really feel abnormal!!!
oh gawd i’m so sorry!! i thought i saw somewhere that you were called miranda..maybe its my damn eyes being polluted by those 2 in the OT..hahaha! o.o *mortified and embarrassed* but i swear you are normal!
omg i’m dying right. just…. DYING!!!!! deep breath…. deeeeeeep breath. not good to die from asphyxiation from laughter, right? LOLOLOLOL!
Ok anyway, @flutt3rbybutt3rfly I’m Miranda. Sapphie-sister and I yak back and forth, and that’s prolly where you saw it.
@Lili, Janet my love, if you need a shoulder, ear, whatever, lemme know, you’ve got my email addr already. ~huggles~
Now, I’ll make a confession (purely for the sake of making my sister Sapphie feel better). You ready sister? This ~does~ involve blood. And I shall be teased about it until he or I die of old age. Anyway! here goes: Once, long ago (like 10-12 years ago) in a far far away land (otherwise known as the downstairs kitchen) my genius-in-the-kitchen-pet-chef (otherwise known as hubby) decided to cut onions and managed to cut a decent size chunk of finger off in the process (ugh i’m getting flushed, light-headed and tingly-skinned just thinking about it ~shudder~). Thankfully genius-chef’s gorgeous wife (aka MEEE!) was not at home at the time (yes, thank you GOD for small miracles). However, some hours later, bleeding had not ceased and obako poultice (plant that grows here that is a wonderful coagulant) needed to be changed. Brave (and gorgeous, huhuhu) wifey says “I’ll help you, hubby dear!!!” and collects all the necessary paraphernalia on the kitchen table. Genius-chef removes bandage and holds hand out for wifey to dress the wound (aka the raw meat ~SHUDDER~). Nothing happens. Genius-chef (and father-in-law AND mother-in-law) turn to wifey to tell her to hurry up…. only to find wifey sitting like a mannequin at the table, as white as snow, eyes open but completely unresponsive to external stimuli.
Afterwards, I swear I could hear them, but I could not move and could not see, nothing but a single point of light.
So, sister-Sapphie, no, you are NOT the only one that faints at blood. I may only faint at the sight of my loved-ones blood, but still did it lol! My own blood seems not to trigger anything, prolly thanks to the numerous nosebleeds I “enjoyed” as a youngster-to-college-student.
Ok, so, did I make you laugh, Sappie and Lili? I hope so 😀
P.S. Sapphie “It’s Sapphire, not Miranda! LOL. Now I really feel abnormal!!!” are you implying something here?!?!?!? >.>
@springbok7
ROFLMAO!!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one! The first time it happened to me it was with my mum’s blood after cutting her thumb in the kitchen. But now I’m so bad I get faint & nauseous at the sight of blood, gore & violence on tv & in films – even though I KNOW IT’S FAKE!! I think it’s cause I immediately imagine the pain & go into over-empathize mode!!! The thing is as a kid I would watch medical shows while eating lunch, watching doctors merrily carving people up & not even think twice about it!
“It’s Sapphire, not Miranda.lol. Now I really feel abnormal!!! are you implying something here!?!?!?! >.>
I’m deeply, deeply wounded, to the depths of my soul that you could take it that way. Honest I am!!!! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
@Sapphire
“I think it’s cause I immediately imagine the pain & go into over-empathize mode!!! ”
exactly! E-X-A-C-T-L-Y!!!!!!!
YOU sister-mine, are SUCH a (*&^&*^%^%$*( ROTTEN LIAR! Imma tell on you! nyah nyah nyah!
JAAAAAAAE!!!! Sapphie’s being MEEEEEEEEEEEAN to ME! Spank her pleeeease!!!! 😉
(damnit, why do i have to be older than all of them. I can’t say Jae-niisan, Jae-oppa, and somehow Jae-sama just sounds so… wrong…. ;))
@springbok7
oh gawd this is so embarrassing..i guess you are miranda..?
i’m really really sorry..must be due to an overly complicated surgery in the OT last night..lol ^^
btw, i’ve always wanted to know, how do you address someone younger than yourself
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
“oh gawd this is so embarrassing..i guess you are miranda..?”
yup yup i’m miranda. don’t feel bad. there’ve been more than one occasion when I’ve called baffie as sapphie and sapphie as baffie, so it happens to all of us, especially if we’re not paying enough attention LOL!
“btw, i’ve always wanted to know, how do you address someone younger than yourself”
You know, i ~think~ it’s just by name. But it also depends on the relationship. (Any 日本人, please jump in and correct if I get this wrong) For example, if I were addressing my coworkers properly, I would say last_name-san, like Tanaka-san or Smith-san, and they would address me as Ogata-san. If I was close friends with them, I’d probably use first name, like Carrie-san, or William-san. Outside of work, if I were address my brother or my nieces/nephews, I’d use Sam-kun or Sam-chan, or Kylie-chan. Here (on JYJ3), if I’m speaking to someone I know is older than me, i’d use Oneesan, like I do with Mizzy-neesan, Lili-neesan, or Baffie-neesan. I don’t know his age but if JYJFanBoy is older than me, i could also address him as JYJFanBoy-niisan.
Now, for JYJ, in Japan they routinely refer to Jaejoong as Leader-san or ジェジュン, Junsu is usually Jun-chan (not sure why he’s not Jun-kun to be honest) or Junsu (ジュンス), and Yuchun is Yuchun without the san I think. not 100% about Yuchun, but I usually see his name as ユチュン with no suffix.
Now for me personally, I feel somewhat rude/disrespectful addressing them as Jaejoong-kun or Jae-kun/chan, Jun-chan, and Yuchun-kun, I guess I’d use Jaejoong-san, Junsu-san, and Yuchun-san or even Jaejoong-shi, Junsu-shi, and Yuchun-shi if I ever am lucky enough to speak to them.
Oh and if I understand it correctly, the Korean equivalents replace oneesan with unnie (if you’re a female speaking to a female older than you) and noona (if you’re a male speaking to a female older than you) and oniisan with hyung (if you’re a male speaking to a male older than you) and oppa (if you’re a female speaking to a male older than you). BUT if that male/female you’re talking to is older than is reasonable for your sibling to be (or if they are older then mid-30s), you’d call them ajumma (female) or ajussi (male), which is similar to obasan and ojisan in japaneses, aka aunty and uncle in english. So in that context, here in hawaii it is the tradition that anyone who is around your parents’ age is aunty/uncle.
Hope that helps and that I didn’t mess anything up 😀
@springbok7
thank u dearie! ^^ it was long but surprisingly clear explanation! you even sweetly included the jap versions..*blows kissies*
wow alot of hierarchy thingy going on..sometimes i feel its a lil troublesome.how i wish i could just say “hey sexy boy! whats up!” to them lol~
yes what is with the jun-chan suffix? i asked a friend’s ajumma about it and she said its not -chan, its usually -san.
i thought at first it was meant for a female..but apparently not?! hahaha..maybe its an affectionate term for cutie su! ^^
btw i had a chance to visit hawaii some years back..but i blew it. argh!! so regret~ =.=
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
that’s funny that your friend’s aunty said it’s san. i can read hiragana and i def see ジュンちゃん fairly reg, and sometimes ジュンくん, but rarely ever ジュンさん… i do see ジュンス just by itself a lot. lol, there are a lot of levels, and i didn’t even get into senpai and that stuff LOL!
@springbok7
sen..pai..? lol i cant read the jap characters AT ALL..still trying to get used to korean..let me conquer that first!! one at a time haha ^^ but i think jap seems easier to pronounce..
ah everywhere’s having a high standard of living these days..is it ok if i just lived on the beach? put up a tent or something..will someone chase me away..hee!
oh and too bad you didn’t come. this is an awesome place… i’d love to visit i i didn’t live here LOL! but living here… hmm… SOOO expensive!
ジュン-ちゃん = Jun-chan
ジュン-くん = Jun-kun
ジュン-さん = Jun-san
ジュンス = Junsu
Senpai is kind of equivalent to senbae i guess, in korean? It pretty much means the same thing, senior.
ah everywhere’s having a high standard of living these days..is it ok if i just lived on the beach? put up a tent or something..will someone chase me away..hee!
Sadly if you try that here, yes, as a matter of fact, they would chase you away… tsk tsk so bad for hawaii image to have tons of trash and make-shift tents on the beaches from the homeless people camping there. Sad, huh? And yet not enough low income housing made available for these ppl to afford a place. makes me kinda mad when i see it on the news.
@Lili…Thank you sis..oooomymy..now very clear ..not just simple lazy article, this is one of “pay by bloodsucker company”, notthing to say more!!
Isn’t Google a grand and fair friend indeed? I just can’t believe that mofo is an actual sociologist. This is one of the rare times where I wish our Japanese brothers and sisters would do a little research on this fool. This guy is either in love with Homin or (far more likely) under some kind of “deal” with SM or heck maybe Avex.
But speaking of Avex do any of you guys think that now that SM Japan has practically sidelined Avex that Avex may be considering in trying to “fix” things with JYJ. SNSD, TVXQ and I think SuJu are not under Avex anymore. In fact I don’t think SNSD ever was under the Avex label. I have a feeling 2012 will be one special year indeed.
@Mia2
“Isn’t Google a grand and fair friend indeed? I just can’t believe that mofo is an actual sociologist. Oh, my yes. A fair friend indeed. Butterfliesarefree and I did a little research together this afternoon and we came across Shibuya Tomomi’s MySpace page. (See, there was just something REEEEEALLY suspicious about this person. My hackles went up the minute I read that article and I ALWAYS listen to my hackles. lol)
My sister BAF says she saw under Occupation: actress (!) but I found under Education: some college (!!!?) Some college!?? For a Sociologist/Associate Professor of a Tokyo university?? So what I would hope is that someone who speaks Japanese here on JYJ3 might be persuaded to email the university in question to see if this person is actually on staff there. Wouldn’t that be an interesting thing to know?
Oh good idea. I’m on it! I have Japanese friends!
OHHH Kementari8! Ruby!
Where are you?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://www.tku.ac.jp/department/law/teacher/shibuyatomomi/
She seems legitimate 😛
@Alice_JJbias
“http://www.tku.ac.jp/department/law/teacher/shibuyatomomi/ She seems legitimate”
Legitimate? Hardly. At least, not by any criteria of mine. To me she seems like a closet fangirl gone pie-eyed at getting the chance to be Up Close & Personal with Yunho and Changmin. Stranger things have happened, believe me–even among “academics.” They’re not gods because they have credentials. They’re just people who had the means to stay in school longer. I have SOOO had it with idiots, the clearly insane and perverts of all stripes hiding behind their titles as “professionals.”
@ lilibaiyu
Oh no, I meant she’s legitimately a professor at Tokyo Keizai University, and she has an MA degree in Sociology. That’s what I said I would investigate on =D
Other than that, yes I completely agree with what you said. Her column [again people, it’s not an ‘article’] published in Asahi is not a Sociology research of any sort, it’s just a fangirl’s opinion about what’s going on in the world of her idols — and we know she’s a fangirl because of what you found in sharingyoochun. She doesn’t have any credentials in the ‘study’ of Tohoshinki/JYJ/SM; thus when it comes to this issue, she has about as much credibility as myself who is in high-school and who has for years been wandering around in the [first] THSK-[then] JYJ fandoms. =D
is he some high-ranking sought-after journalist/reporter or something? why doesnt he interview JYJ and paint a less biased picture..
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
Well, first of all I think “he” is a she. I don’t know where they dredged her up exactly, but she is obviously a BIG fan of YH&CM. What we need to do is get our counter-point argument out into the public minds with the same velocity that the original article that our Ms. “Sociologist” did with hers.
I stand corrected. He seems to have a fascination with Changmin. How novel.
“Fans loving them will most probably have some common characteristics, as listed. Firstly, their music—Being captivated by Yunho’s dance, and being swept off their feets by Changmin’s high pitched vocals. Secondly, being touched by the “relationship” the duo shares. It is indeed hard for one not to be confused and be oppressed by their charms.”
……………………………………………………………………………………………*gags in a corner*
“…confused & oppressed by their charms.” ROFLMAO!!!! Is that what they call it these days??!!!!! Who say’s Homin can’t emote or empathise?? Confusion & oppression is probably their main emotions these days, so it’s nice they can share those deep, intimate feelings with their fans!!!
Sounds like the “journalist” is a fan using her profession to give her “critique” more credence…. more shame on her. @Lili, when you’ve finished the Removing-lips-from-butt-op, can I slap Shibuya Tomomi back into consciousness? For his/her own good of course…. staying under anaesthesia for too long could cause brain damage & obviously the poor dear doesn’t have many left to lose.
ROFL! Everyone is so funny and on point today!
I’m starting to think it is a she based on Lili and BAF’s info. I also read the whole article. Just sounds like a fan spazzing quite frankly. There in no serious or objective tone, she just lavishes praise on them but especially on Changmin. Really, I get it now.
i wish they would..or actually could in this sense, channel all their feelings of confusion and oppression and whatever-sion into their songs..bahh~
@Mia2
“Being captivated by Yunho’s dance, and being swept off their feets by Changmin’s high pitched vocals. Secondly, being touched by the “relationship” the duo shares. It is indeed hard for one not to be confused and be oppressed by their charms.”………………………………………………………*gags in a corner*”
Hands down, the funniest thing I’ve read all day. Yay, Mia! Oh those “high pitched vocals.” Really I just have to alert some of my pro singer buddies in the music community here in L.A. as to this hip, new nomenclature. We’ve really never heard of it before and keep in mind, some of us have been singing professionally for going on 30 years. lololol Oy Vey. That’s a Hebrew phrase. Learn it and use it at will. It means “Holy Crap.”
🙂
ohh liliii i’ve always wanted to know what oy vey meant!~ just not to the point where i would google it straightaway..but thank you! you are my walking dictionary..if my english improves its thanks to you! ^^
You gotta catch up with the times Lili!
High pitched vocals are in vogue now.
@Mia2
“You gotta catch up with the times Lili! High pitched vocals are in vogue now.”
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha God help us all!
🙂
@flutt3rbybutt3rfly
“ohh liliii i’ve always wanted to know what oy vey meant!~ just not to the point where i would google it straightaway..but thank you! you are my walking dictionary..”
I’m here to help. 🙂
@Lilibaiyu
Ah my VE Sister, you are indeed a very industrious grasshopper! 😉 As per our earlier conversation, it appears little miss thing is a very spirited soul. She gushes in all the right places. It appears her one and only aim in life is to make invincible ‘Super Stars’ out of a certain duo. What I find most interesting is how her powers of observation seem to be at complete odds with commentators who say different things about the futures of a lot of kpop acts, including this one. She has so many educational qualifications, it’s hard to know where to begin…wonder which if any are actually legit. Most college professors tend to write articles in their disciplines. I guess to be a published tenured prof. in SK, it doesn’t matter what you write, as long as you write. So much for educational standards.
By the way sugah, a duo is not a group. Oh, and CM, I’m not sure which ‘Steve Wonder’ you are referring to, but if it is the LEGENDARY Stevie Wonder, he was born blind and his forte is the piano. Just check out some of Stevies’s videos, you’ll see what I mean. Heavens, I could swear that was a piano I saw him play when I saw him in concert in Atlantic City.
@BAF
” Heavens, I could swear that was a piano I saw him play when I saw him in concert in Atlantic City.”
LOLOLOL I know! Well, you know…. pianos, guitars…. you get ’em under those stage lights, it’s easy to mistake one for the other… *rolls eyes*
>< *squints hard*
Look at that big thing taking up all that space! 4 legs, ivory keys, ebony cover……what a peculiar guitar.
“LOLOLOL I know! Well, you know…. pianos, guitars…. you get ‘em under those stage lights, it’s easy to mistake one for the other… *rolls eyes*”
But you want to know the clincher? They make different sounds. I swear they do! REALLY! Besides, Stevie never had to pick it up and hold it between his legs to play it. HONESTLY, he didn’t. 🙂
@MIA2
The way he ‘stroked’ that new-fangled guitar, you would think, any moment now Stevie’s gonna bust a sprocket. But no, he kept his composure and just sang his little heart out, and wowed the crowd! Never once going off-key. ;-)Nonstop joy for 2 hours!
“Besides, Stevie never had to pick it up & hold it between his legs to play it. HONESTLY, he didn’t.”
ROFL!!!! I needed that laugh. I was starting to get all melodramatic & emo.
Wait—-all those years I thought I was learning to play the piano and now you tell me its actually a GUITAR?
Dang. No wonder I could never make it in performance class. I was doing it all wrong, trying to strike the keys when I should be strumming instead. Duh!
*Music 101—-How to tell a piano from a guitar.
** Perhaps CM thought Stevie was playing Air-guitar?
You picked up on the Stevie Wonder mishap too huh?
I can’t quite believe that our sharp Changmin would not know that little nugget of info. It just seems so…..odd. Maybe he just threw a foreign artist out there for whatever reason or maybe…….I could definitely be wrong of course…..but with this little ladies long (maybe too long) list of qualifications and clear lack of academic ethics……could it be that this article is a fake or “altered” to make oppas look oh-so-good?
Seriously it was just one big kiss-ass fest of an “article”
Oh Ms. Shibuya. So bad, so sad.
Someone gag me! D: Lord, I could not read that darn thing without choking at the ridiculousness of it all.
*gags you with a spoon*
Seriously I thought she was going to drop on one knee and propose marriage to Changmin.
@MIA2 “…she was going to drop on one knee and propose marriage to Changmin.”
An apt description if there ever was one. It was so ingratiating, it was disgusting to read O~o
omg so many awesome discussions I have missed!!!!!! X;(
I’m gonna start reading!!!
@Dee
Awesome discussions with great people – & no fights!!! ^_____^ Bonus!
@Sapphie,
I know I wish I could continue reading. Feeling satisfied though because pretty much everyone did a good job in explaining what I was also thinking.
Changmin…this is what Stevie plays.
MOMMY… thanks for teaching me what a PIANO looks like… and what it sounds like…
Changmin-ah… you need a new MOMMY, cos this one I got is SUPER!!! hahahahah
Twinnie… imma bring Jeje to the vet so wait for me to come back…
I’ll be around til 3.30 to 4pm before I sleep for work tonight…
Not sure if I can stay awake for that long. You may have noticed I’m getting a little crazy again!! I’ll go get a caffeine hit & try to take a break from spamming JYJ3… I did say TRY >.> I’ll meet you back here in an hour or so.
okies….
Yah! BAF I’m angry with you!
I played the video and I don’t know……seeing all these people drop their pretensions and just sing! They all looked so happy to be doing what they are doing and I started to think about JYJ…..I think they are on their way to this but they are not quite there yet because SM has (despite resistance from JYJ) inculcated this idea of work, work, work! I know they are happy young men and they are so lucky to love their music so deeply but I’m saddened by the damage SM has done (yes even to Homin) and I just started to cry. It is just music. There is no stupid script to follow and acting in front of the cameras and grueling schedules sapping away your youth.
This is really unlike me. Ever since JYJ has been formed I’ve become far more sentimental than I would like but it is a small price to pay.
Aigooo…. *hugs MIA2*
It’s okay… I’ve been more sensitive and emotional too after TVXQ5 and since JYJ…. It’s normal I guess… ^_^
Thank you
I am very happy for JYJ and I know that they will only find more happiness down the road. They still have a long way to go but I also think about SM’s previous “left overs” and I feel sad for them too. It isn’t OK that people are just used as if they were disposable washcloths.
My sister MIA2…
Here’s my take after seeing for myself live, what transpires for JYJ. JJ, YC, & JS are able to create the same atmosphere Stevie created at Radio City Music Hall. When you experience it for youself, you will see the same thing. The energy, the electricity just bounces back and forth! The audience at a JYJ concert, does exactly what this one did. They enjoy themselves. They smile, they laugh, they PARTAY!!! This is why I say, JYJ can stand on a stage, just like all those others there, and hold their own with this musical genius. And I will even go so far as to bet Stevie will be proud to be on stage with JYJ! The man knows talent when he ‘sees’ and hears it. 😉
Yes, it will probably be a few more years before the guys are able to push the SME years farther back in their memory banks. But IMHO, there is a small plus to still having these memories…NO REPEATING THE SAME SITUATION!! Hear this Avex?
@ButterfliesAreFree,
Changmin’s stupid comment, is just an indication of how totally distant HOMIN is from the MUSIC.
The mere fact that he did not know that a musical LEGEND like Stevie Wander was blind from birth and that the piano not guitar was his prime instrument is an indication of how musically inept he is.
The reality is that TVXQ2/HOMIN is a fabrication when it comes to the music.. It’s all “smoke and mirrors” as you and @Lillibaiyu have said many times. Strip away the props and you are left with nothing but two mediocre/adequate singers
not musical artists.
Junsu, JaeJong and Youchun; are three musically gifted young men, and I’m not talking just about the vocals.
Music is part of their CORE, their musical gifts are innate. They are musical artist creating sounds from impressions inside their very being. This why JYJ can sing with so much passion and emotion.
For a real musician, when music is your life and your essence… it’s all about FREEDOM of EXPRESSION
You love music and you give yourself fully to it. That’s what you get with JYJ…. they LOVE what they do and that passion and energy comes alive in their music, it cannot be denied.
@friendofJYJ
“Changmin’s stupid comment, is just an indication of how totally distant HOMIN is from the MUSIC.”
Your post really triggered some thoughts for me. That interview with CM&YH was disturbing on a variety of levels, wasn’t it? Could it truly be possible that Homin is nothing more than a sham group–that virtually nothing about them is serious, true or real? Even for me, and keep in mind I’ve had serious reservations about their vocal abilities since Day One, this is a shocking thought… But I think it was the implications regarding CM’s dishonesty “in the past” that started me thinking, coupled with YH’s insecurities and his need for father figure approval. Well, this is dangerous territory I’m treading on so I’ll stop here…
@lili
Hey there… I want to respond to that thought about HOMIN as a “sham group”
I’ve got a link I wanted to post here, but refrained due to the possible backlash.
It’s an interview Changmin gave where he talks about not wanting to pursue music in the future. It is very revealing.
He has also talked bout wanting to PROVE that he made the right choice. That is his mission, now.
.. I’ve got to go back to the office. I’ll be back around 1 am US EST and find and post it then.
Talk to you later
@AFriendOfJYJ
“I’ve got a link I wanted to post here, but refrained due to the possible backlash.”
You can always send anything you might deem “sensitive” to me at my email address: lilibaiyu@aol.com
🙂
I remember noting a long time ago that Changmin chose the wrong profession. But it is his life and if PROVING to himself that he did the right thing is his new passion then by all means he can do all the mental cartwheels he wants. His problem now. I think he might actually be a great businessman or an academic/researcher.
Hey Lili, I’m curious, could I possibly email you about something? I promise it won’t be long-winded!
@Mia2
“Hey Lili, I’m curious, could I possibly email you about something? I promise it won’t be long-winded!”
Oh, sure… any time. lilibaiyu@aol.com
@Mia2
” remember noting a long time ago that Changmin chose the wrong profession. But it is his life and if PROVING to himself that he did the right thing is his new passion then by all means he can do all the mental cartwheels he wants.”
Did anybody else notice that he also talked about becoming a radio DeeJay in that interview? Isn’t that where SM routinely sends their just-about-to-be ushered out, soon-to-be ex-idol stars??
@AFriendofJYJ
There are so many nuances in that interview piece. I feel like analyzing it could turn into a research paper. One of the things that caught my attention in it was CM’s comment about being seen on campus at his school I believe. The rep. from SME walked up to him and started talking and the rest as they say is history. I’ll lay odds, they saw his looks and decided to cash in on that component. We’ll work on the rest. YH’s passion was dancing, again let’s use the looks, repeat same mode.
IMHO there really isn’t anything terribly innovative about LSM’s tactics, this is how Hollywood was built. The difference here, is the way the system uses very young people, children. They paint a picture so rosy, you would have to be down right mentally challenged not to relate to the imagery. And being the clever snake charmer that he is, LSM could sell a leopard it’s own spots.
What is unforgiveable is using these young people for monetary gains, their own, and dishing out crumbs to the ones doing all the work. So, if there is no music in the soul of these two, I’m not surprised. It still does not excuse them being used like this.
If they are making pronouncements about what is really important to them, go for it. You have to make this all seem relevant somehow. Proving you made the right choice, still does not negate the fact that you are being exploited. The Stockholm Syndrome is alive and well, happens all the time to captives.
After all this time, if the only aspiration you have is to be a DJ, well it is an honest job. I don’t know how one equates going from being in one of the most popular Asian groups of all time, to being a DJ, but if that makes you happy, so be it. After all, your happiness is what really matters. I’m hoping that whatever monetary compensation they are getting, they are salting away nicely. Somehow, I just don’t see SME having a retirement or pension plan.
I’ve said before ~~ JJ, YC, & JS eat, sleep, and breathe being creative. I’m reminded of the title of a Broadway production – The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd. It is in your blood, there is no substitute for it. You either have it or you don’t. These three have it. And because of their bond ~~ one soul, three different personalities, these young brothers are so attuned to each other, you couldn’t separate them if you tried. I’m reminded of the video posted the other day from one of the couple chats between the three, about clothes. The interaction was so natural and pure, if you didn’t smile in response, you will never get what there is between them.
I hope you don’t mind if I ask my VE Sister to pass along the article you are sending her. I would like to see it as well. 😉
is it just me or… do these two have some serious mental issues in certain areas? It feels like their fathers/families have done them no service over the years to implant such things in them…
@My Very Smart Sister BAF
“After all this time, if the only aspiration you have is to be a DJ, well it is an honest job. I don’t know how one equates going from being in one of the most popular Asian groups of all time, to being a DJ, but if that makes you happy, so be it. ”
I find it so illustrative of my own intuition about these two young men that NEITHER of them have said in interviews, “Oh, of course we want to go on to have long careers in Music, as singers, songwriters, producers, etc. even after our association with SM has ended.” Why is this? Here’s my take on it: Both of them know perfectly well that once the ULTRA-HYPE and big budget recording and video budgets of an Idol at SM are gone, so are their singing careers–they just don’t have the chops vocally to sustain a normal post-idol years career. There is maximum cushiness and plush padding associated with being an SM Idol–many many flaws can be covered up. It’s a well-traveled routine and a set of technical skills that the SM employees in the recording studios and doing live sound know intimately how to do. When all of that is gone, the technical people, the stylists, the big ticket videographers… what is left is the talent of the individuals. I think Brian Joo and Hwanhee are excellent examples of what happens to an ex-idol group of SM’s. They split up and Hwanhee was actually lucky enough to get signed with Bae Yong Joon’s new entertainment company. Brian appears to be having a harder time of it and he’s got talent to spare, trust me! This guy is an amazing singer and has an infallible ear for great songs. Here, just for giggles is Brian LIVE with no gimmicky processing or multiple re-takes. TVX2 will NEVER do something this ballsy on their BEST day.
Here’s the recorded version of this song:
Just as a general comment, it’s not the tools that make the singer/musicain/artist, but it is what the artist does with the tools that display an artist’s true skill and aptitude. You can have the fanciest equipment, but if you don’t know how you utilize them, well… It’s potential wasted.
Just as an honest question, is this seriously coming from someone w/ a music major (well, CM reportedly majored n music)? That doesn’t mean squat if you cannot apply that knowledge O~o Only on the certificate in which it is written.
Not again!? Im so tired of this. Everytime they do this, fanwars are all over the place. This is way too old now. Its like opening the wound again. 😦 Im happy the way is it now. JYJ by themselves, the duo by themselves and now theyre tryin to open this issue again. They really like attention. I hate it when they do this just to get attention. 😐
@MsGirlCharli
I don’t know about other sites, but one of the best things about this post is that there isn’t a single fight on it 😀 270 comments & not a single fight, diss, snap or snark to each other!! I’m proud of the family. (I love saying “the family” – it makes us sound so gangsta!!)
We got a badass MOMMY HEN instead of a FATHER… I really love that we’re not following an egoist Father BTW… ^__^
actually the discussion here always being handle very well and politely…not to mention so funny too…the family (it does sound like a gangsta…hehehe…but love the sound of it) i been laughing at some comment especially yours @sapphire…
@MsGirlCharli dont worry about that…what ever happen here will always eventually calm down and then the new friendship will be blossom because we all JYJ Fans. it always JYJ at the end…
I think you got discouraged by the number of comments and jumped the gun. Like Sapphire said there is no fighting going on. If anything we are having fun pointing out the ridiculous person who wrote this article.
Okay….. I see this post is going to go on foreverrrrrrr..
Anyway since everyone is still commenting here I am going to take the opportunity to promote something that can have a lasting impact:
Hello Everyone! CAN YOU SPARE $1 a day for the JYJ Mango Tree Project???
Did you make your donation to the JYJ Mango Tree Project today??
Here’s an idea! If 10,000 of JYJs fans donate $1 each we can help JYJ donate 1000 mango trees.
Here’s the link…

i wonder when will these kind of shitheads will leave JYJ the fuck alone. What the hell man….this is absurd.

@Springbok7
Not sure what you mean by “good news.” That’s the petition demanding an apology from the newspaper that printed the article. Did you sign it yet?
aww damn i was hoping it was some info that asahi had retracted or apologized or something.
Yeah I signed it a while ago, when it first came out.
I do trust all of the concepts you have presented for your post.
They are really convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are
too short for starters. May just you please prolong them a little from next time?
Thanks for the post. link building in 2013
