Dear readers, see instructions here, in our first General All-Purpose Post.
Let’s have fun, build friendships, share news, and be happy in JYJ ^__^
This is part 2 of a 7 part story. One part will be posted each night, with the last part posted on Christmas Day.
And so they began their adventure, following the northern light to the North Pole to investigate.
“Okay, I got my iPhone, iPad, headphones, two Versace jackets, skinny jeans, boots, Jiji –”
“Where’s Jiji?” Micky and Xiah both asked at the same time.
“In the bag.”
“That’s in violation of animals rights!” shouted Micky and Xiah.
“Oh, then where are your six cats?” asked Hero to Xiah.
“Uh… in the bag,” Xiah answered with a cute smile ^___^
“Um, excuse me,” a cute voice in front of them said hesitatingly.
“Hello?” asked the trio to the girl whose voice they just heard.
“Are you, JYJ?” she asked.
“Uh, should we answer it?” Micky whispered to the other two.
“Why not? She looks cute, and is only a child, no harm,” said Hero.
“Yes, we’re JYJ, how you know our na–”
“HEY GUYS! IT’S THEM! IT’S THEM!” she called forth her group of friends, all girls. Well, except for maybe two guys in there.
“What have we gotten ourselves into?” groaned Micky.
“How did they know our real identity?” asked Hero. “We got hacked!” he exclaimed.
The girls giggled “We’ve been following you – err…”
“Well, that sounds worse than hacking,” Micky retorted.
“I’m deleting my identity,” said Hero.
“Me too,” said Xiah.
“NO!” roared the group of girls. “You’ve misunderstood us, we’re sent by these two people to follow you. They told us your identity and wanted us to give you a message, and asked us to protect you,” their leader explained.
“Who? What message?” asked Micky.
“We don’t know their names, they’re very mysterious, we couldn’t even see their faces,” answered one of them.
“They asked us to tell you that, ‘Things are not as they seem to be. The person who took Santa is… Hey! Where are you going?” the girl cried out when she saw the trio shrug their shoulders and continued walking their path.
“Psh, as if they know more than us,” said Hero.
“We’re the ones that read the letter,” said Xiah.
“Um guys, I think they’re following us,” informed Micky when he looked back.
“Let them, the more, the merrier,” said Hero. “Xiah, sing something for us on the way,” he requested.
“What shall I sing?”
“Some Christmas songs to make this adventure more enjoyable,” Micky suggested.
“Okay, what Christmas songs shall I sing?” he asked again.
“Hm… Deck the Hall!” said the other two.
He opened his mouth, started to sing the first word, but although his mouth was moving, no sound came out.
“That’s odd,” he said, “I started singing, but there’s no sound.”
“Sing another song, try The Twelve Days of Christmas,” Hero prompted.
Again, there was no sound, so Micky suggested him to sing a non Christmas song, and he did. His voice soared across the Ice Lake along with the wind, breaking the ice on the tree, as well as creating cracks on the surface of the frozen lake lake. He was about to bring his voice up to a squeaky, dolphin-like pitch, but the other two stopped him in time.
“Sorry,” he apologized for getting too carried away, “Hm…So, we can’t sing Christmas songs?”
“I guess not” answered Hero.
“Wait, does that mean that everything related to Christmas was stolen?” asked Micky.
“Oh my, hello boys!” called an old woman from afar, “Are you lost?” she asked. She walked towards to them, “Ah, I see, it is you boys, are you on a mission?” she asked again.
“You know us?” asked Hero.
“Why yes, care to come into my cottage and have milk and cookies?”
“Weren’t all the cookies stolen?” asked Micky.
“Not from my cottage. So, would you like to come and take a rest?”
The three glanced at one another, silently communicating.
“Why not?” said Hero, “Jiji has been purring for milk, I can feel him scratching the inside of my LV bag, and if we don’t stop for some, he’s going to scratch my back in revenge.”
They followed the old woman to her cottage. It was made out of gingerbreads, frostings, candies and crammed with everything sweet.
“This look like something out of Hansel and Gretel,” said Micky, eyeing the garden full of sugar flowers and numerous gingerbread men. Even the squirrel, bunny gnomes and other woodland critters looked like they were chiseled out of sugar and chocolate.
“But we’re JYJ, not Hansel and Gretel,” whispered Xiah, inhaling the most delicious scent that he had ever encountered while entering the cottage. Like the others, he was in awe when he saw the cottage interiors. The three boys’ stomachs all gave loud growls.
“You boys hungry?” asked the old woman.
They looked at each other, then nodded their heads.
The woman sighed, took the plate of cookies on the table and handed it to them, “Truth be told, I am not just an ordinary woman” she said while pouring milk into three glasses for them. The three of them gulped loudly as they ate the cookies, “I am.. I am, your fan! Now, I know that I’m older and perhaps fangirling at my age seems a little strange, but I just wanted to say that I admire your courage, that is all,” she explained herself.
The three of them didn’t pay any attention, they just ate and drank, but Hero remembered to stop in the middle of his gorging to unload his bag to let his cat, Jiji out. Jiji was a Russian Blue cat, who looked a bit like his master; he was sleek and lean, with smoke colored fur. His personality, however is very cold. You can say that he has a bit of an aristocratic feel to him, he doesn’t even pay attention to his master, and does whatever he wants. “Here Jiji, drink up,” begged the caring master, but Jiji paid no attention to him, he turned his head away and gave an angry purr.
“Drink Jiji,” said Xiah with a smile. And Jiji stared at him with pleading eyes, as if he wanted to be whisked away by this ‘angel’ owner. Immediately, he drinks the milk out of the bowl while the should-have-been-his master petted his head and his real master moped with an angry dark cloud looming over his head. The atmosphere was filled with gloom, Jiji could feel it, so he turned his head and purred angrily, shooing his ‘devil’ master away.
“So that’s how it is eh? Then why don’t you go live with him!” said Hero in a moment of despair. Jiji perked up and gave a happy purr while Xiah jumped up joyfully. “No, not really, I just said it out of anger, but my determination still stands, I’ll win you over one day, Prince Jiji” he said haughtily. Jiji turned back to his milk and gave a sarcastic sounding purr, saying ‘as if’.
“So, I see you’ve brought your cats with you,” commented the old woman.
“So you’re our fan?” Micky asked.
“Yes,” she answered, “Well, I wasn’t going to show myself to you, but I was asked to guide you, since the last group of girls couldn’t do the task.”
“Eh, so those girls weren’t lying? They were really trying to give us a message?” Hero asked.
“Well, can’t blame us, it was a natural reaction” said Xiah.
“Well yes, can’t blame you, no one is at fault, but it’s getting late, I have to finish my task and tell you a message. Someone very mysterious came here earlier and gave me this message to tell you: that the person who kidnapped Santa had the initials ‘PSM’, and that, to find him, you have to follow the money trail.”
“Money trail?” asked Micky.
“Yes, the money trail,” she replied.
“Is he an idiot? Who in the world would let their money fall out of their pockets and not realize it?” Hero asked.
“Well, he has a lot of money, and he carried it with him all the time, afraid that people at his headquarters would steal it.”
They rolled their eyes at the thought. The old lady gave them some more cookies and milk for their journey. Micky let out a heavy sigh after they walked out of the garden.
“Why the heavy sigh?” Xiah asked.
“Xiah, I thought we were going to end up like Hansel and Gretel the whole time while in that cottage. Boy am I relieved that it turned out well.”
Xiah giggles, “Silly Micky, Hansel and Gretel turned out fine in the end didn’t they? So even if we’re to be put in a cage and fed until we grow big for a pie, we’d still come out fine, because one of us will be the smart one and push the old lady into the oven.”
“Right…” Micky looked around and noticed Hero was missing. “Hey, where’s –”
“Come on Jiji!? We have to go save Santa!” he pulled and pulled, but the cat wouldn’t release it’s paws from the edge of the door. It purred angrily at Hero. “Ugh, come on, you lazy cat!” Jiji let go of one paw to scratch Hero’s arm. This one scratch didn’t do much to Hero since he had been through this before. Hero increased his strength and managed to yank out Jiji, but Jiji fought back and try to scratch His master’s face. Hero ran, screaming, “NOT MY FACE YOU ARROGANT BUM!”
“Eh, so where are we going to go now? Oh great, we were supposed to follow the money trail, but we didn’t know and decided to go to North Pole and wasted half a day! Now we have to start all over again!” Xiah said disappointedly.
“Not to worry boys! You’re actually on the right track, look for money around this area and you’ll find the trail! I did see him lurking around in my front yard earlier!” The old lady screamed, waving goodbye to them. The two was about to go look for money, but Hero was getting further away while his cat was glued to his face, they ran after him while two mysterious figures, dressed in all black were hiding behind the Christmas trees, keeping an eye on the boys.
To be continued…
