Dear readers, see instructions here, in our first General All-Purpose Post.
Let’s have fun, build friendships, share news, and be happy in JYJ ^__^
They restarted their journey, with help from the old lady that they’ve decided to call Fanma, since she looks like a grandma and is their fan. Before they left, she gave them a map and a book of the area, just in case they ran into unusual places and things that they don’t know how to deal with.
“Ouch,” groaned Hero, caressing his red cheeks marred with slight scratches. Jiji had stopped attacking him and was now leading the trio along with Xiah’s clowder.
“It’s nicer to let them out of the bag and play in the snow,” said Xiah with a smile, sighing and dancing along with the cats, “Come on, let’s find a lake and do some ice skating.”
“Yeah, you do that,” Hero said while texting on his iPhone while Micky moped behind him.
“Guys, we’re in the middle of the woods. Where are we going, I want to go home and be in my bed,” He moaned.
“Well, we’re very close to a town according to my GPS, but the money trail is lost, and based on the last piece of hundred dollar bill we picked up, the note said to go to this direction –”
“Are you sure we’re not being duped?” asked Micky to Hero, “I should’ve brought Harang, or a piano with me,” he moped.
“HEY GUYS!” yelled Xiah, “I think I found it! Or more like the kittens found it,” he murmured.
They found the money trail again, and it led them to a town, a very pretty Christmas-y town. Bright lights reflected on the snow, and the whole town glowed.
“Good,” said Micky, “We can rest in a bed this time, let’s go find a hotel–”
“Santa?” they whispered in question when they saw Santa, his sleigh and reindeer on the street, and what looked like an old lady, a grandma.
“Did that grandma get run over by the reindeer?” Xiah asked.
“Wasn’t Santa kidnapped?” Hero asked.
“Yeah… Wasn’t he?” repeated Micky.
Suspicious, Hero took off his boot and threw it at “Santa” when he was far up, about to get away. The boot hit him and he turned back. The boys hid away quickly, but they saw his face without the white beard, “He’s an impostor!” Hero declared.
“I think that’s Pumpel Stiltksin Man,” said Micky.
“Plum Shaped Man!”
“President Sabulous Man!”
“President Stew Man!”
They called out as they ran after him.
“Hero, you just threw one of your boots at him?” asked Xiah while following him.
“Don’t worry, I have five of the same pair of boots, two in my bag, two are at home,” he replied.
And they stopped when they came upon a bridge with a sign that said, Dispatch Ditch. Hero immediately pulled out the book that Fanma gave to him and searched up ‘Dispatch Ditch’.
“Dispatch Ditch, in order to pass the bridge, you must stop the KBS – King’s Bottom’s Soldiers– who live on the bridge. Be careful and don’t touch their bottoms. They’ll go nuts and insane and will bite you,” Hero read.
“Stop them from what?” asked Micky.
“Uh, stop them from accusing you of stealing their home – What?”
“Well, what do they look like?” Micky asked again.
“Hey guys, this little critter is so cute!” Xiah squealed, extending his hand to touch it, but Hero shouted, telling him not to touch it. However, it was too late as it exploded in front of him. He jerked back and fell over, but luckily, there was only one, so the damage wasn’t much and it didn’t hit him.
“I believe that’s a KBS,” Hero confirmed. “It’s small, like a fly, and has a glowy bottom like a firefly. They’re dangerous and not to be mistaken for a fly because they explode if pissed off, and are always supposed to go in packs.”
“Okay… We can’t cross this bridge. How are we supposed to stop them from accusing us if they’re so small? Can they even talk?” Xiah asked, but as soon as he finished, there was a ringing sound getting louder and louder by his ears, and a cloud of light formed around the air surrounding the bridge.
Hero gasped, “I think that’s them!” Immediately he made the others move back and hide, “Okay guys, we have to think of a plan to cross this bridge.”
“We can send the cats first to distract them–”
“I’m not sending my cat, you cat-hater!” shouted Hero to Micky. Xiah was holding his kittens in his arms, protecting them from the worst.
“I was just joking!” Micky gulped in nervousness.
“So there is no way to go about this?” Xiah asked.
“We can go to the King’s court and ask him for permission,” said Micky.
“That takes time, and furthermore we have no idea who’s their King.” Xiah replied, “Hey, Juno told me that we can use our shoes as parachutes, we’ll fly over! I brought my cleats!” He said excitedly with a bright smile.
“I only have sandals–”
“I can give you my boots.”
They had a plan, but for some reason, they still refused to fly over with their magical parachute shoes. Furthermore, Jiji refused to get into the bag.
“No one’s moving?” Micky asked.
“Hey, do you think we can distract them with our special gifts?” Xiah suggested.
“Hey, that’s a good idea, we should,” said Hero.
And the three of them decided to use their special gifts for this occasion. Hero will try and make music, Xiah will sing, and Micky will add rhythm and beats with his rap. Since he has the gift of flow, he will make everything flow. Hero tapped gently on the cats’ paws the notes that he wants them to purr to, and directed them to march according to him. They marched out in rhythm, with the cats following, walking pompously and purring to the notes that Hero taught them. Xiah singed and Micky rapped. The other animals followed right through, the snow fell according to the melody, and the water crystals chimed. The King’s Bottoms Soldiers made the bridge glitter, blocking them. The three boys were very nervous inside, but they kept their calm exteriors. The KBS suddenly started to follow the rhythm and moved out of the way, so the boys managed to pass the bridge unobstructed, but despite having crossed the bridge, they did not stop playing and moving to the music. Instead, they enjoyed this way of traveling so much that they continued on their journey that way. However, while they got carried away with their gifts, they did not realize that PSM was watching them from his King’s Bottom’s Soldiers’ bottoms. You see, their bottoms aren’t just hyper-sensitive glowy balls, they serve another purpose: as spy cameras that PSM set in place to spy on whoever passes one of his marked territories.
Once PSM found the boys’ special gifts, immediately he wanted it, and he set in a special formula in order to take it.
To be continued…
