Why did SBS gave the award to 10 persons?! I am angry for JJ. No panel would have come up with 10 winners (if there was a panel), WHY wasn’t JJ the sole winner?
Don’t be. It’s the norm for SBS to dole out many New Star Awards every year. Usually, all three networks(KBS, MBC, SBS) award multiple winners for each category. Although Yoochun was the sole winner last year for best newcomer on KBS, this year, this category has three winners.
I considered Jae as the best among the 10 since he was the last one to be called and the first one to be awarded ( and that’s just my feeling and for me he’s always my number one, with and without that trophy). At first, fans were so worried that SBS won’t even confirm Jae’s attendance on that award ceremony, so I was so happy Jae was there, walking on that red carpet , see, my happiness is just so shallow !
agree with you. Thats my first thought when i saw him speaking first among the awardees….its just that for sure fans heartbeat halted for a moment until JJs name was called lol
Hope fans will just be grateful that JJ received new comer award despite of the bunch…we don’t know if he could get it if they just awarded one best new comer…
So, in difficult times, JYJ fans should be content with whatever little bit that is given? Even though when JJ got 50% of the total votes and stood there as one of the 10?

Because that’s how SBS does it every year.
While I wish he solely received the award, I’m just glad he was the only one in Protect the Boss to get it. I remember in the 2009 SBS Drama Awards, a bunch of people from You’re Beautiful (I think it was Park Shinhye, Jung Yonghwa, and Lee Hongki) won it, which made it less special.
dont be mad.. .Jaejoong is not the only hardworking person in the indusrtry.. He may be popular and really good being a new actor but let the award be shared/give also to others who equally deserve the award (like Wang Jihye) and worked their sweat and blood to give kdrama fans a good performance.. So many dramas were produced and if i am a new actor.. it would have sucked if i dont get recognize for my effort.. this at least encourage the new actors to do better.. Jae is ecstatic being there in the awards show and so grateful in the award as we saw on his tweet so if he is so happy no reason for us to be pissed about it.. so chill..

Kim Jaejoong’s magic is still very strong and I’m very happy for this not just because I’m a fan but I think this will give him more encouragement knowing that that there’s still a lot of people caring and voting for him with this kind of poll. At least he beats Lee Min Ho who won the the Top Excellence Award as Best Actor, Netizen Popularity Award, and one of the Top 10 Stars VS. Kim Jaejoong with his first Korean drama acting whose main career is being a musician….Congrats KJJ!

i’m not surprise at all because Jae acting skill really amazing, he can increase it in a short time which make me feel giddy sometimes even though i watched it again for several times
and for the Namu couple, their kissing scene became a best weapon for them
i hope i can see his acting again soon

For Boss, I think it will be better in film if jae only loves jihye from start to end. Let me try my own script. Jae can act like he loves ss kang hee in front of jisung oppa to make jisung worry/try to catch kang hee’s heart. But the old relationship between jae and jihye could be stronger than a one night love, that jae truely loves jihye, and jihye could be sad because she make jisung’s brother die in an accident by her fault. That night she had an argue with jisung because jisung misunderstood her with jae, then she drunk and met jae ‘why jisung did not believe me? I feel so tired because his childishness. jisung only knows himself, does not try to know what I am thinking, sometimes I feel you know me more than jisung did…’, then jae had one night love with her because he loves her and wanted to make her feel better, not because he disired of sex. Jihye in the day after that be confused, and drove car fast, made accident with jisung’s brother. Jisung shocked by his best hyung’s death, stopped meet jihye because he can not face with the truth, and for 3 month after jihye broke with jisung, jae sticked to jihye and did many things to cheer her up…, made her feel better: ‘it is not your fault, it is just an accident, jihye ah’, then say ‘let me show you there is a person who loves you like crazy… it’s me…’. Then Jihye feel thankful jae’s love, but she needed time to be sure about things, so she left jae and jisung behind, and started to work hard… Then end this flashback.
Then story begin when 3 people meet again with ss kang hee as a witness… Kang hee at the start doesn’t love jisung, but then knows him more and feels sorry for his relationship with jihye, then loves him but doesn’t know she love him. One day, jisung got trouble by dirty act of rival company, kang hee saves him and they find they love each other. Jihye comes back to find jisung, but know jisung now loves kang hee. Jae takes care of and waits for jihye silently. Open ending between jae and jihye. Poor jaejae! ^~

Like Kang Hee said ,Jae’s role was most difficult to play in PTB.Jae as a new comer nailed it so well to a level he out shined everyone else in the show.He is very talent with his killing good looking,he can achieve just about everything in his field.
