JYJ3’s Note: This article is reporting on the false advertisement about JYJ’s participation in a charity concert that appeared in Nihon Keizai Shimbun. CJeS already stated that they did not sign with the organizers for JYJ to perform and warned fans to be careful.
Regarding the advertisement notice in Nihon Keizai Shimbun of Korea’s famous idol group, JYJ will be participating in the ‘East Japan Great Earthquake 1 Year Anniversary, Charity Party, JYJ’s management company, ‘C-JeS Entertainment’ (HQ: Korea) on January 4th stated that ‘JYJ isn’t performing at the event’.
JYJ is a group formed by 3 out of 5 of Korea’s famous idol group ‘Tohoshinki’, Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu whom withdrew in 2009. They are not only famous in Korea and Japan, but are widely popular internationally.
According to the event organizer, Earth Project Kizuna’s Executive Committee, it was stated in the advertisement notice of the 22 December’s 2011 evening paper that ‘JYJ will perform at the charity party on 21 March 2012’.
According to the advertisement, round table for VIP seat is ￥100,000 (USD $1000), round table for S seat is ￥50,000 (USD $500) and standing buffet for ￥3,000 (USD $300), the party is quite expensive. There’s already application for money transfer made, and there are also fans who had already made the money transfer.
But on January 4th, it became clear that the main attraction of the party, JYJ, isn’t performing, thus words among the fans [about Earth Project, the supposed organizers] It’s a fraud! and I won’t forgive them are spreading rapidly.
Newspaper advertisement listed, 1) ‘Production: Tokyo International Music Festival Executive Office’ but in reality, the organization records do not exist. 2) The event place stated ‘hotel in Tokyo area’, the name of the place wasn’t clearly stated. 3) The inquiry mail is a private e-mail address (NIFTY) etc. thus igniting doubts and suspicions from the fans due to the ‘weird’ publication of advertisement.
In addition, the organizer, Earth Project Kizuna’s Executive Committee’s homepage (http://earthconcert-kizuna.com) was shutdown last year and the inquiry phone number didn’t connect to anyone when called.
Was the event designed from the start as a fraud or was it due to Earth Project Kizuna’s Executive Committee and JYJ’s management’s negotiation did not go through, it is unknown.
However, if the customer who had already transferred the money reports to the police, this will undeniably grow to become a criminal case and it seems that both parties will be surrounded by the continuing chaos.

I think If they wanna sue then lets sue the one who brag about JYJ will attend a.k.a Nikkei newspaper coz cjes already ask this newspaper to made some corrections but they seems doesn’t even care with that, and now i’m curious why they act like that?
Please don’t drag the boys ans CJES into this. They have nothing to do with the event. In fact, JYJ and CJES have authority to drag this case to police because it’s consider as manipulation by using JYJ’s name and lying to the public.

I really hope CJES will take legal action for this. If CJES brought this case to the police, it will be official warning for others so they won’t use the boys names without official agreement in other times. This case will be a lesson.
first of all, why did it take C-JeS that long to clarify that JYJ were not attending? Dec 22 to Jan 4 is quite long… secondly, you’d think after so many shams that fans would check first with JYJ’s official page before handing money over to this “organization”…

Well you have to remember that it was announced during the holiday session, everything takes more time during then. Even if C-Jes caught in on the 22th, they had to call/e-mail the newspaper and ask them to correct the information and if I remember right, C-Jes mention that they waited for them to make the corrections but none were published and it was after all that before they clarified it themselves. So I really don’t think this incident was C-Jes fault.
@kelly if you check jyj3 often you will know that c-jes alread said even b4 jan. 4. That jyj and c-jes have nothin to do with that event, and stated that they at c-jes will ask the publisher to correct their info and if not they will take actions against them. Scan the older post here and you will read it somewhere.
Did any of JYJ members or Cjes itself ever mention or gave a hint about this event ? As far as I can remember, they never did and the news just popped up out from nowhere.Thinking back about the Ibaraki concert where all JYJ members and fans were heavily anticipating but all news outlet refused to publish it. Even if fans had already paid the ad-fee but its was refused at the last hour. Now I wonder how the news work in Japan, if it’s a legitimate concert, promotion was refused but an UNCONFIRMED event, it can easily get printed (?). And I believe Cjes has no influence in the print media in Japan, and I don’t think Cjes/JYJ have a nerve to participate on any activity that could hurt their fans, not the Japanese Fans or any other fan .
JYJ and Cjes were working with ZAK for their previous concerts (Charity Concert and Ibaraki) , why would they
suddenly work with this unknown Earth Project Kizuna’s Executive Committee when they have still some sensitive/legal issues for their working status in Japan? They are struggling to go back to Japan, how can they afford to do something fishy. But on the other hand, who are those people/companies struggling much to prevent JYJ to set their feet on Japan’s entertainment world, don’t you think they have some say on this?

Hopefully CJES can bring this matter to the police and the police can identify these people. They need to be punished.

JYJ should take legal action if these people profited off of false advertising. This is really wrong. I feel bad for the fans who purchased those tickets thinking they were gonna see JYJ and were scammed instead by a charity.
i see it was always like that…when all news are talking about JYJ in positive way . out of nowhere it will be one or two news spreading that could give JYJ negative impact. if we couldn’t catch the right point in the news even Cjes already confirm about the false news with the language difference and all it will give our boy a negative point a view. and now it start again when JYJ concert for Chile and Peru has been Confirm. out of nowhere here it comes again another fraud using JYJ name. it’s is really frustrate me. it is ok for us who know what happening becz we follow the news up to date. but how about the other that just start to know about JYJ. I thing Cjes must take a legal action ask the what ever newspaper that spread the false news to post apologize ad or what ever it is to clear this mess. i am not blameing Cjes , Cjes have done so many good decision in helping JYJ. There must be something didn’t right about this ad thing, somONE must be behind them.
JYJ and CJes are very personal to the fans and public so if they don’t officially endorse something (like hear about it from their official sites and twitter) I wouldn’t purchase or take action. I just hope the people who were scammed get their money back.
