JYJ’s Junsu is creating a hotel on Jeju Island with his father! Currently they have received the authorization to begin construction. While they are preparing for construction they are currently gaining more investment.
The hotel will be a resort that has two swimming pools and one VIP building. Fans posted pictures of the resort on the internet.
A representative stated, “Junsu is very busy because of his schedule and JYJ activities. His father has experience in business relations and will take over the management of the hotel. Junsu’s father is also the one who is named as the owner of the business.”
The representative spoke about the reason why Junsu and his father decided to embark on the hotel business, “Junsu was on a Jeju Island trip and saw a lot of foreign travelers. They realized that there was potential in the hotel business. An year ago they have been planning this business venture.”
Currently Junsu will begin appearing in the musical “Elizabeth” beginning from Feburary 8.

I read your comment and I mean no ill will, but my response is…SO? Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu work hard for their money. Money they rightfully EARN. If they are making boatloads of money to accomplish dreams beyond their wildest expectations, I say GO FOR IT! I’m actually tickled pink for them!
We go this way once in life. If you sit around waiting for someone else’s permission to live your life, then it is not yours to live. Junsu does not need anyone’s permission to earn as much as he wants to. He does not need anyone’s permission to spend/invest that money any way he wants to. ALL of the members of JYJ are FREE MEN, not boys. If there are folks out there who don’t get this, too bad. The fact that he has such a wonderful trusting relationship with his parents, speaks volumes. I’m happy as all get out about this. We should all be this lucky.
If anyone has a problem with how much money the guys are making and what they are doing with it, ask them have they commented on how much LSM makes off all the artists in SME. Ask them do they question how HUGE his stock portfolio is, and what it is worth? If they haven’t then they should STFU! Excuse my French.

These three men are slowly and surely making their mark in business and corporate industry and this should inspire those typical idols out there..don’t be ‘frog under the umbrella’..just leap out and be what you want to be!!

The last time I saw any mention a few months back, LSM’s stock portfolio was being touted as $171M USD equivalent. So, if that is chump change I would like for some of those people to ask, REALLY? What they should be asking is what are the artistis at SME raking in. Since everyone and their grandmother thought they had a right to know about Junsu’s original contract with the Mozart production, let us know what these artists have signed on for.
With all these investments and luxuries they (JYJ) are having with the span of 2 years outside SM, they are proving that there was really an UNFAIR DISTRIBUTION of profit during their 5-year stay at SM, when they were considered as the biggest in Asia, there was no proportional financial reward. As JYJ, they started from ground zero, a new name, no song to sing, no support from a big and experienced.influential companies, on top of that, they are blocked from broadcast/venues in Korea and Japan , their 2 homebases. So it is just right to show every little step, every little success, every little reward they are getting because the other party, every minute, is waiting JYJ to fall and crawl and be gone to nowhere.
yes, exactly what I am thinking as well. when they left SM in mid 2009, they could not even afford a house (Yuchun bought a house borrowing money from SM if I got it correctly). After 2 years Junsu can invest to build a hotel! How ironic is it to SM, and also to Homin…

WOW! JYJ just can’t win with some people. See if they’re doing well.. then they say JYJ is money hungry. If they give their money away to charities ..they say.. Oh they’re showing off, they need to be humble. So now we see the saying “Hater’s are going to Hate” has never been more true.
So What? Yes, Yes JYJ is money – minded! Like any late twenty-something male SHOULD BE who plans to have a career, get married, buy a home, have children, send those children to private schools to keep the paparazzi away from them, send them to university, pay for his daughters wedding, and finance the care of his aging parents and finally be able to retire without living off the government. Yes.. Living A Normal Live Takes Money!
Is it a crime that JYJ at the age of 25, 26 and 27 are thinking long and hard about their FINANCIAL FUTURES and taking steps NOW to secure that future? It shows they are not only loving and caring young men, but highly responsible young men. The most sad and heartbreaking thing to see is a man who does not have the financial means to care for himself or his family.
JYJ earned every penny of their money legally and with their own sweat and tears. They have the right to choose how they want to invest their earnings like anyone who lives is a free market economy. If people want to believe that JYJ taking steps to manage their financial futures is being money minded then I say… BRAVO JYJ… so be it.
Anyone who start critizing them again over leaving SM because of money has never had to pay their way through life. They don’t know what it means to earn a dollar, or whatever currency they use.
On a side note I’m happy to see that these three guys are diversifying their income as much as possible. So that if their entertaiment jobs don’t pan out the way they had hope for, at least they have something to fall back on beside being farmers.

People need to realise that even idols need a secure environment for the future. How long can they stay on stage as idols? It’s difficult past your thirties… Junsu is thinking ahead. The money you earn can be either spent on shallow luxuries and then when you are not an idol anymore, there you go penniless jobless, or you can invest the money you earn as an idol and secure your family. Junsu is a true MAN.
I imagine them having concept room like In Heaven, Be the One , Be My Girl, I can Soar, Beautiful Love, Chajatta but my favorite will be… Intoxication LOL!!!

very interesting. i will miss the pizza place. it was really good and fun to go to and i sure place to see mr. kim (his dad). sounds like it might be something his dad has wanted to do and i think will be a good investment for them. will jj and chun join in the investing part? i wonder. gosh, i hope it will be an affordable hotel too cause now it will be stay there instead of go eat pizza. and of course try bum’s place and back to gelato! so happy they are able to stretch their wings and do some things like this.
The pizza place is closed? why? every his father has no time for this “small place”, his cousin can still take care of it, right Indeed I want to visit it again in this April.
By the way, I just wonder what the Jeju gov’t react on this, who has more impact now? who is the real embassador of Jeju? Can they see that? We fans are planning to stay in this hotel, although I think it will be quite expensive, it is something contribute Jeju’s trourism and economy? JYJ are real ambassador!
