A representative of JYJ has asserted that member Junsu is not constructing a hotel on Jeju Island.
Reports have been going around stating that Junsu is on his way to becoming an entrepreneur by constructing a hotel in Jeju Island.
The representative explained that those reports are false, and that “Junsu has no relations to his father’s plans on opening a hotel business in Jeju Island. This entrepreneurial plan is under Junsu’s father, not Junsu himself.”
He continued, “Junsu barely has enough time to keep up with his main career as an entertainer.”
Aside from his work with JYJ, Junsu is preparing for his upcoming musical “Elizabeth“, which is scheduled to begin on February 8th. Since Junsu is required to exude a masculine image on stage, he has been spending his days in the gym and nights working on music.
In related news, JYJ will be the first Korean artist to hold solo concerts in South America with concerts in Chile and Peru on March 9th and 11th.

Somehow I feel relieved when read this news. I’m afraid people with start believing about how money minded jyj and they left SM because of money , which we all know that’s untrue.
But heck, that’s their own money and they have fully right to use it for whatever they want. Junsu’s papa fighting ^^

If nothing else comes from this issue, I wish folks will stop being concerned what others will say. When you worry about what someone else says or thinks about an issue, that is giving that person or persons WAY TOO MUCH power over YOUR life. Those people really have nothing to do with anything. The reality is this, SME was cheating the pants off of ALL 5 when they shoved that contract under the noses of those guys. LSM knew then, what he was and was not going to pay them. NOTHING.
I don’t know about anyone else, but when I sign on to work for a company, for profit, nonprofit, doesn’t matter, I want my paycheck on the day it is to be issued. I don’t work for free. Now if I choose to VOLUNTEER, that’s different. When all those who criticize and PROVE that the 5 of them worked as volunteers and should not have expected to be paid and paid well, then they have a case. But until then, I say TOUGH. I seriously would like to know how many of those who have something to say about how much the guys are earning or spending, acutally have a you know, JOB?

i’ve been struggling with this person for donkey years about the way she’s treating me..she’s my PSM.
and i know its no joke to feel controlled by someone, even if its not literally by a remote.
just now she shoved her payslip in my face, the bottomline being to earn shitloads of money like her.
i dont know why, but i cant face or say anything back to her.
i’ve tried, got shot down, felt worthless..so even now i feel its pointless cos she’s the wont take no for an answer.
and when she gives me money, clothes, i feel like she’s the most sorry and pathetic person for forcing all the smiles out..and i feel nothing but contempt and pity to the point where my eyes well up.

I’m truly amazed that you have to endure something so sophomoric. How old is this person? That is one of the most juvenile things I’ve ever heard of. I’m not sure where you’re from, so this might be cultural, but no one I know does that kind of thing. Oh, don’t get me wrong, there are people who brag about their incomes and will find creative ways to ‘show’ how much they are bringing in. But for the most part, what a person earns is top secret information. There is no justification for anyone to know what someone else is earning unless they tell for some reason or another.
Despite all that, this sounds like someone with self-esteem issues. The need to laud it over others is a clear indication that person equates salary, job title, job position as a sign of worth. Don’t get me wrong, everyone wants to feel validated. Sounds to me as if she never experience this as she was growing up. IMHO one’s moral compass should be formed BEFORE you reach adulthood. You should know right from wrong before starting out in life. Your re-enforcement of who you are should already be there. Granted this is not always the case, and I feel for those who never experienced this. Saves a lot of headaches along the way. 🙂
So, she gets a big kick out of showing you her pay statement as if this is some badge of honor. Well, for her sake I hope she is salting away part of her landfall income. If she isn’t, won’t she have a rude awaking if she’ ever laid-off.
My friend, your value and worth as a human being, has to come from YOU, not anyone else. Each day you wake up, be greatful you can do so. Be grateful you have the ability to handle what life throws at you. And while you’re doing all this keep your head up and know you are the best person you can be. No one else can give you that sense of self but you.

Yeah, count me among the people who have NEVER been able to fathom why “leaving over money” is not a perfectly logical and valid reason for leaving SM all by itself, no need for any further reasons, really. All I’ve ever been able to come up with is that people who think this is not an acceptable reason are maybe not old enough to have ever had a job. They are kids who are still in school and not earning their own money. Of maybe they actually believe that singers in groups are magical creatures who live by different rules than the rest of us. Maybe they thought that when JYJ finally realized that SM was stealing from them they should have said, “Ooohhh, that’s OK. Let’s not say anything, President Soo Man might get angry at us.” Come to think of it, that would indeed be the response of little children who have no power and nowhere else to go. The members of JYJ were NOT little children however, they were young adults who had worked their asses off for 7 years and had next to nothing to show for their efforts while I’m sure hearing about LSM’s expanding multi-million dollar fortune on a regular basis.
So at least on JYJ3 let’s not shy away from treating the members of JYJ like the adults they are and lets declare that if you are working at a job and the boss has been stealing your paycheck it’s OK to leave and then sue the pants of of him.

i think it is very smart of Junsu and his rep to not to attach his name to something he is not 100% involved in. Otherwise in the future when the thing is built people will attribute everything that happens and goes on there directly to Junsu. That way Junsu’s father gets the credit he deserves and Junsu is free to play at the hotel whenever he likes with the guests with no pressure. *crosses fingers* play with me!

I think one of the biggest reason why they left sm is about money and their personal growth! If they stayed, I don’t think if junsu can get THAT big in musical industry. He is indeed very talented and I bet the agency is the one who has the final say on what to accept as a project (look at hanggeng’s case, he left because sm not aloowing him to have as musch as a solo projects). Even if it’s about money, why they left.. I still respect them and it only made me realized they are not some puppet there! Who doesn’t want security in the future? Look how rich they are now in just merely a couple years since the depart! SASUGA!!!! JYJ You’re an inspiration!!! Actually, I got inspired from them. To fight for your dreams and never give up by staying strong! what a good example too the youth!!!! I love what they did!!! They are like the modern heroes now!

I so agree with you. They are role models in every way there is. They are a credit to everything that is good about S. Korea. That’s why it hurts so much for them to be ignored and blacklisted by entities with ties to the very top people in the government. That info published awhile ago (I think it was Cat95 who reported it) about the government pension and welfare funds now being so heavily invested in SM stock… it just made my blood run cold. THIS is a real factor in the scope of the problem. The government is literally INVESTED in the welfare of JYJ’s Oppressor.
