Fans in Turkey must be excited since the Korean Embassy in Ankara confirmed that JYJ’s Jaejoong will be visiting Turkey on February 5.
The reason for Jaejoong’s visit is that the Korean Embassy in Ankara will hold a Korean cultural event. The event will have the presence of the Honorable President of South Korea, Lee Myung Bak. Also, after the event is over, Jaejoong will hold a fan meeting.
The embassy made available 500 tickets only and fans interested in the event had to simply send an email with their personal information and a question they would like to ask Jaejoong. The list of 500 confirmed fans filled just within an hour.
The event will take place at the Ankara University Faculty of Language and History, Farabi Hall on February 5, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Fans in Turkey, are you excited to see Jaejoong for the first time in your country?

if South Korea knows the power of these 3 young men in their country they the Entertainment Industry in Korea will really, really embrace them more. I am from Southern California and my support for them is immense. To me JYJ are more powerful than all the Kpop bands put together. They have their own unique style and are very, very humble that’s what i like about them soon and very soon the rest of U.A E. Countries will be demanding for the JYJ TRIO. I have said it and will say it again the World is their oyster and they can begin where M.J. left it to spread L.O.V.E. around the Globe, with their music and their maturity and class like Michael Jackson’s did Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong go for it Aluta Continua fighting. Every Country wants a piece of JYJ around the World Superb.
Michael Jackson is the artist I love most in this world. But now he has gone, and stayed peacefully in heaven. I will miss him forever. I couldn’t stop crying for almost 3 weeks since I heard his death and it’s an everlasting pity that he couldn’t hold a concert in the mainland of China. So luckily I still have JYJ in my life and I hope JYJ can go around the world and meet fans of every country just like MJ. I’m glad that JYJ three members have each other and can face glory and difficulties together.

Oh, Turkey reminds me of Tarkan, Turkish delight, nougat, baclava, humus, stuffed cabbage leaves. strong coffee in really small cups w/ sugar cubes, the Blue Mosque, belly dancing, beautiful music, yummy food. Oh, JJ will fit so well with all these warm people.

@kementari8 I get your concern; i had a ‘wait a minute’ moment when this news was first announced. From my experience, politicians are by and large opportunists, and using JYJ’s popularity during this junket is always a possibility. I truly hope this stays a cultural event and fan meet, only. @kementari8 I understand your concern as well. I half believe the news when it was first announced without Cjes confirmation. And was worry that fans was asked to provide personal particulars to a gmail account.
Now that it has officially confirm, I and truly happy for our dear Jaejoong.
I can imagine the cultural event with Mr President alone would have met with lukewarm response with a handful of senior official from both countries, and some business associates.
As far as I am concerned, Mr President is the head of the state of South Korea. It is an honor for our Jaejoong to be able to represent his country to such an event and to promote Korea culture.
As long as during election, “Stars & Celebrities” are not recruited to rally for votes, I am fine.
