and will be respected in there while korea just bullshit and messing around with them
whatever citizenship they will choose, I dont mind.. as long as go away from korea
korea is too much hurt them..
just saying .___.v
Only if there’s a draft, but there isn’t right now. Since the 1970’s, the US army has been a voluntary service. Men are still required to sign up for Selective Service just in case the draft needs to be reinstigated, but that’s also only for men between the ages of 18-25.
Actually, Chunnie will not serve, due to his asthma, and Junsu might not (after being clarified again), due to his allergic.
My Jaejoong is the only one who will join the army. I am so sure that he will not change his nationality for a million of dollar. He loves his country so much and he said once that he will serve his country by joining the army.
Jaejoongwill join the army to protect Korea. Korea doesn’t protect him.
Jaejoong loves Korea. It’s a pity his country doesn’t loves Jae back. A sad one-way love…
Got it. I don’t know why I was thinking about it. I guess I’m just upset about the injustice of all the events. I am happy that their doing well over all, but it sucks for the fans and the future of the Korean entertainment. Why would the entertainers want to be puppets to these big agencies? And, for 2 years they have to serve a country that doesn’t protect their rights to freedom. Freedom to hold concerts…. etc
seriously, imagining, after becoming ambassador in everywhere, and standing beside the president. suddenly they’re appeared in Mubank.. what an epic. lol..
hehe, well personally i wish their music will be played in all music channels and radio stations, and for them to able to held concerts in S.Korea freely. But them competing in those music shows hmmmn with other newbie idols, i can’t see them that way, a guesting maybe..they are way up there for me.
I’m proud of you my babies @mjjeje @6002theMicky @1215thexiahtic !!!
I wish any countries can adopt you, because u guys deserve much better treatment than what u got in SK!
ok let us count our blessings,, you guys are way up there, i like this ambassadorship to protect the environment by ensuring safety and as much as possible reduce the use of nuclear energy.. Go JYJ!!! promote education, healthcare and protect the enviroment..i love jyj.
That is a bit much, they love their country and you can blame a few selfish, greedy, manipulative jack asses for their troubles. I guess it is time for fans to make more noise. Also, why don’t other Korean entertainers stand up for them and speak out? They really need to grow some you know whats. SM can’t own all the stations and entertainers can they?
So this means they are embassadors for Nuclear security??? How about JGS?? I mean not that i care, get confused.. Cuz i saw in news that JGS is embassadors for Nuclear security… I was thinking of why they dont choose JYJ then… 😀
Unaids, iccap, nuclear, anti bullying, kepco, g20, omg, they became alot f ambassador but they cannot appear in tv in their own country, arrrgg, how i hate sk for this
that’s why I don’t get it.. it seems that they use JYJ just for a publicity purposes only. If JYJ is not effective in publicity, they will dump JYJ for sure.
They will squeeze JYJ as lemons, until their last drop of energy. Then they will throw them away when they’ll become useless for their causes.
They doesn’t seems better than SME.
i always wonder why the boys are so kind …… keep giving so much for their country yet they are treated so badly…….mmmmmmm just can’t comprehend the mind set of the people in that suppose progressive & democratic country.
the only one that i can say is congratulations JYJ for get appointed again as Goodwill Ambassador of 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit……and even though some people in your country still tried to hurt you but you keep your love for your country and i’m sure you guys gonna do your job very well too
WOW – JYJ – Goodwill Ambassador of 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit
*The “2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit”, which will be held in Seoul in March 2012, will be the largest summit in the security field that discusses international cooperative measures to protect nuclear materials and facilities from terrorist groups, with participation from more than 50 heads of state and international organizations. The main issues to be discussed at the Summit will be as follows.
Cooperative measures to combat the threat of nuclear terrorism
Protection of nuclear materials and related facilities
Prevention of illicit trafficking of nuclear materials
*The Significance of the Hosting of the Summit in Seoul
Korea has established its status as an advanced country by securing the hosting of a whole range of international meetings in the economic, cultural, and sports fields including the hosting of the 2010 G20 Seoul Summit. The holding of the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit means that Korea has gained even greater standing in the international community in the security field as well. In addition, it is meaningful that Korea will play a leading role in establishing global governance in the security and political fields just as it played a significant role in the economic field through the hosting of the 2010 G20 Seoul Summit.
Participants
Heads of 47 states which participated in the 1st Washington Nuclear Security Summit. (Republic of Korea, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, UK, Ukraine, USA, Vietnam).
Heads of international organizations which participated in the Washington Summit (the UN, IAEA, and EU).
INTERPOL was added to the group of participants as agreed upon between the participating countries and international organizations.
No music/variety shows, JYJ is blocked to perform as singers but they are Goodwill Ambassadors to high profile international events , SM ,what can you do about this , I think you have to broaden your alliance, call the President, JYJ’s appointment must be cancelled!
Thanks for this.
I think singing (as much as we like it) doesn’t relate to the event itself, unless JYJ will be singing their new song about their own terrorists….(okay…out of topic)
I know that it is a good thing for JYJ to be there. I am just stricken by the left-and-right things that happen to them now. They are being respected but their rights has been violated at the same time.
Hooray for JYJ!! There are a few other ambassadors – see press release from the Nuclear Summit website below:
[Notice] Korean actor Jang Keun-suk appointed as honorary ambassador for the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit
The Foreign Minister Kim Sung-Hwan, the chief of the Preparatory Secretariat for the Seoul Nuclear Security Summit, appointed Korean actor Jang Keun-suk as an honorary ambassador for the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit on December 7, 2011.
Joining the previously appointed three entertainment stars, singer Park Jung-hyun, actress Jin Ji-hee and actor Wang Suk-hyun as the four honorary ambassadors, Jang Keun-suk will begin to help raise overall awareness and interest on the upcoming 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit.
Goodwill Ambassadors for this and that and this and that~~
Not that I’m not proud of my boys, I Am!
But isn’t it ironic that while they participate actively in events like this when called upon, Korea itself can’t even protect their most valuable artists?!!!
To think that they are blocked and hindered from doing almost everything by the unscrupulous people in the Korean entertainment industry with no help whatsoever from the Korean legal system and yet never hesitate to help in events like these.
I’m proud of my boys but I think they deserve better.
What?? Nuclear Summit? o.0
Ok, I found this : http://www.thenuclearsecuritysummit.org/eng_about/background.jsp
