Technically, C-JeS does not own JYJ. JYJ employs/pays C-JeS to manage their careers and I must say they are doing a HELLUVA job! This is the POWER of JYJ to be at #4 with all the blocking and maligning that occur on a daily basis for them.

Wow. We keep hearing about the “Big 3,” but really it’s SME alone that is the boil on the buttocks of the music industry. At it looks like CJeS is on par with the rest of them (3% differences, not that much). And with only ONE musical act on the books.

Let me see if I have this right. One company has one artist, a three member group, no TV or radio promotions. This artist group is not allowed on conventional music industry programming. They can only appear in stage musicals, and dramas. This artist group creates their own music, and/or collaborates with others for music. The only way they can reach their fan base is by fan meetings, photo exhibits, and concerts.
These concerts fall in various categories…charity fundraisers, showcases, stealth meet-ups, and crowd thumping noise makers. Until recently, records sales could not be made in retail establishments. Distributors could not be found to put out their music.
This agency that manages this group competes with some big names. It has used some awesome, creative ways to showcase this group. It takes position #4 on the list for records sales. What is wrong with this picture? Just goes to show, if this company was allowed to compete on an even playing field, positions #1 and #4 could very well be reversed.
Think how DISTURBED the company in position #1 must feel. For all their efforts and I’m sure money they are throwing around, they have not been able to knock off the company in position #4. I certainly hope when company #1 saw this list, THEY CHOKED!

I think C-jes having one musician and two actors is more than enough; they should focus their attention on these and develop them to the maximum. When the existent artists are become a strong name and they can stand on their own on their stages for any project, then should C-jes focus on developing other artist. JYJ, Song Ji Hyo and Park YooHwan have so much more to work on and “conquer” that it will not be feasible to take resources away from these just to debut a new artist when the market is super saturated. Unless they have a diamond in their training programs that will blow out the industry, C-Jes should support what they already have on their pay roll, sort of speak. Just my 2 cents.

Compared to sm who i believe has around 40 artists (suju+snsd have 20 of em already), released more than 2 albums or minis each group in korea n japan..full force supported by tv n radios, i cant imagine how much money they have to drop in terms of promotions..let alone for concerts, join concerts, and promotions abroad..
While cjes only have 3 singers, 2-3 mini/albums a year..almost no promotions on tv n radios..all the blockings and bullying..yet they can achieve 6%, 1/5 of the whole sm artists can achieve..

This is amazing! If i’m not mistaken, jyj only released 1 album n 1 mini album in 2011?cmiiw..
Compared to sm who i believe has around 40 artists (suju+snsd have 20 of em already), released more than 2 albums or minis each group in korea n japan..full force supported by tv n radios, i cant imagine how much money they have to drop in terms of promotions..let alone for concerts, join concerts, and promotions abroad..
While cjes only have 3 singers, 2-3 mini/albums a year..almost no promotions on tv n radios..all the blockings and bullying..yet they can achieve 6%, 1/5 of the whole sm artists can achieve..
This is why sm desperately try to block the boys..but little they know that the more n the longer they try, the more people aware of what kind of evil sm is and how hard the boys fight..

Wow this is awesome news!!!! I am so proud of JYJ and C-Jes!!!!! I feel SM with all the artists they have their percentage should of been higher. This news has to burn SM but up, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have to feel bad because with all the advantages and money they put into promoting their many artists they should have sold more in my opinion. Compared to a small company like C-Jes that has only one musical artist, limited advantages and they come in at number 4. You do not have to be a business genius but I am sure they are thinking what the hell is going on. Yes they got the number one spot but If I was them I would be thinking why did a small company like C-Jes come in at number 4, what am I doing wrong. JYJ and CJes keep up the awesome work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there’ll be a limit to what sm can do. once the lawsuit is settled, jyj will be able to promote freely.

And yet still you did not manage to create a significant spread in the ranking between your STABLE of artists and the three young men known as JYJ.

You know my friend, there is another way to look at this. SME is paying for JYJ’s promotion and publicity (i.e. operating budget profit not as high as expected). How awesome is that! In their erstwhile manner, they are spending THEIR money to promote JYJ! Not only are they helping with the PR work, they are solely responsible for it all. Had they even tried to be reasonable none of this would be taking place and that 30% could very well be 50%. But noooooooo, they couldn’t be reasonable. Anyhoo, I’m just tickled pink about all this!
