[NEWS] Baek Ji Young & ALi release songs for ‘Rooftop Prince’ OST

Queen of OSTs, Baek Ji Young, has participated in the OST for ‘Rooftop Prince‘.

Baek Ji Young’s agency WS Entertainment stated, “Baek Ji Young will be participating in the OST of the new SBS drama ‘Rooftop Prince’, and her song will be the main title track.”

Baek Ji Young’s “After a Long Time Has Passed” will be the love theme song for the main characters played by Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min. It has been revealed that skilled composer Park Jung Wook wrote this song with Baek Ji Young in mind as the one to sing it.

Baek Ji Young stated, “I ended up participating in this OST due to the music director of ‘Secret Garden’. I have read the drama’s synopsis and script, and thought the story was really good and fun, so I confidently chose to participate.”

[NEWS] 120322 JYJ’s Junsu tweets about Yoochun’s ‘Rooftop Prince’

JYJ‘s Junsu has shown some love for the pilot broadcast of Yoochun‘s new SBS drama, ‘Rooftop Prince‘!

On March 22nd, Junsu wrote on his Twitter, “Anyway, Yoochun’s drama broadcast its pilot episode. I better catch it once it comes up tomorrow. It was probably fun, right?”

Fans were warmed to see him supporting his group’s activities and left cheerful comments like, “Junsu oppa, you should watch it live,” “Looking forward to ‘Rooftop Prince’ as well,” and “Junsu oppa, make a cameo!”

In related news, ‘Rooftop Prince’ kicked off to a respectable start by recording 9.8% in viewer ratings.

[NEWS] Rooftop Prince Takes 2nd Place in Ratings For First Episode

MBC‘s new drama ‘The King 2hearts’ had the first laugh in the Wednesday-Thursday drama ratings battle.

According to the ratings information provided by ABG Nielsen Media Research on the 22nd, The 1st episode of ‘The King 2hearts’ aired on the 21st has averaged an impressive 16.2% for its 1st episode, giving the drama the 1st victory of the Wed-Thu ratings battle.

[Parts unrelated to ‘Rooftop Prince’ omitted]

The ratings for other dramas in the same time slot are as followed, SBS’ ‘Rooftop Prince’ averaged a respectable 9.8% for a good start and KBS’ ‘Equator Man’ averaged an okay 7.7%.

The premier of these 3 dramas has garnered lots of attention, because all 3 networks starting new dramas at the same time and for the same time/day slot almost never happens. Add the big names involved in these dramas and the war of the ratings is no understatement.

[NEWS] C-Jes defends JYJ against recent Dispatch articles

JYJ who has been the target of recent news scandals, will be taking legal action against Dispatch. The news outlet has been biting the tails of the trio, like a pack of dogs and won’t let go.

The news company recently released another article featuring the “full” audio of Jaejoong abusing fans. The article also claims that Jaejoong did so not by self defense or pent up frustration, but that he did it to keep fans from revealing that he had a girlfriend at the time.

C-Jes, JYJ’s managing company released a statement that they will be taking legal action against Dispatch for defamation.

“Nobody wishes for this to happen, solely JYJ members are receiving their attacks through malicious articles.” Furthermore, “because we will not stand for the continued defamation of character and malicious articles, we have decided to take legal action.”

“Illegally disclosing voice files without verifying who exactly were the people directly involved is a direct violation of privacy and defamation of character.”

(…) Not to mention the so called “Things like this always happens” excuse when shows or vendors make sudden cancellation on JYJ participation.
