With the airing of two episodes of ‘Rooftop Prince’, it has marked a two digit rating from the audience. On the 23rd, according to the AGB Nielsen Media Research ratings, the episode of ‘Rooftop Prince’ that was aired on the 22nd received nationwide ratings of 10.5%. It seems the ratings had risen by 0.7% from the previous episode that was aired, which had had a rating of 9.8%. [omitted drama summary]
In this episode, Lee Gak (Park Yoochun) and his servants Song Man Bo (Lee Minho), Woo Yong Sul (Jong Suk Won), and Do Chi San (Choi Woo Shik) went through many ordeals as they tried to adapt to reality. When the 4 men tried to return back to their palace, they were chased by the police, and when they requested for food from convenience stores they were thrown in detention facilities. At the end of all the twists and turns, Park Ha (Han Ji Min) was faced with Lee Gak for the second time, and experienced things such as Lee Gak ordering the rice cooker to be gotten rid of after he heard sounds coming from it, and also how they all bowed down when she showed them a 10,000 won bill. With these moments of great laughter, the drama was well received by viewers.

agree, episode 2 is to much fun..there are sad scene in episode 2, but just after the scene there are consecutive of funny scene..laugh all the way..especially when the step-sis sad bad things at park-ha, then prince got accident with the glass door after that funny scene begin again..
cant wait for next episodes 😀

I hope they’ll not reduce the funny scenes although i also would be happy if the love story develops.. i dont want much of the makjang thing with the evil sister and evil cousin

love every minute!chun is so GOOD! as are all the actors! but my fave is chun!
he has so much improve his range.. from crying,being angry, being funny.. he is like so comfortable now.. like a veteran even if this is just his 3rd project.. but you’ll feel his maturity in this project.. am a proud fan ^__^
RTP can evoke so many emotions at the same time.. at one point i was annoyed by park ha’s sister,then it’s heartbreaking to see the prince when he saw the princress incarnate then bammm the glass scence, i burts out laughing. it’s really great how the director combine those emotions in a minute[or more not sure].
episode 2 was hilarious..can’t wait for ep3….

the ep 2 was awesome! I like the way the director’s used the funny situations to make viewers laugh naturally, not trying to portrait characters that has forced people to laugh. That’s interesting and impressive! Now i can understand why YC said in the conference that he didn’t try to act funny to make people laugh but viewers naturally laugh because funny scenes that his character created
