The drama ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin’s production company Lee Kim production demanded for SBS’s scheduled drama “Faith” to halt production.
Lee Kim Production said that “Faith’s” story based on a doctor who time travels from the past to the present is very similar and demanded for SBS to halt the production.
To this, “Faith’s” broadcaster SBS and production company Kim Jong Hak director responded in his own words, “It is already reviewed by the law” and “There is no problem [with the new production]”

Hello, my sweet friend… Yes, all is well. I hope you are fine too. You actually got your HUSBAND to watch a K-Drama!!?? I bow down in AWE at your prowess! Mine is still firmly committed to the “No K-Drama Ever” Lifestyle, although he is the big loser in that regard. I am at the moment watching “Shut Up Flower Boy Band” (Like!) and in the mornings before i am quite awake, “Queen Seon Duk” (again.) I’m almost to the part where Kim Nam Gil makes his fabled entrance and it can’t happen soon enough for me! Ditto, Chunchu. What an entrance! Oh, I LOVE this drama!

This is my hubby all over again!! He won’t even give it a try as he doesn’t like “to read” what he is watching. He feels he is humoring me by not saying anything about my viewing choices. Interestingly enough, before my mom passed away last year, I’d gotten her hooked on k-dramas. My dad would complain about them but he would carefully and slyly watch over her shoulder while sitting at his computer desk. He thought Jan-di (BOF) was very cute!
HAHAHA me thinks you’ve misread, Lils-m’dear! I said TRYING…. and failing miserably. Basically I think he has enough stuff he wants to watch already. He has no problems watching with subs, since we watch a lot of Japanese tv programs and have for many many years. Though he might have a thing against korean anything… if for no other reason than to annoy me LOLOL!
My husband liked BOF, he also watched a few episodes of Secret Garden and some other dramas. I also got him into kpop (at least as far as I can get him). He now knows a few (girl) groups and some songs. He also obviously knows JYJ and can recognize Junsu from the back, heheeh
I dont want anymore drama associated with JYJ please~~I know it’s not DIRECT, but still.
Time Slip Dr. Jin will be fine… it is ‘Faith’ which will cause the legal problem, lets just see what will happen when that drama comes out… and the comparison will start
When I first read the title having the words “stop production”, I go like “not again”.

Anyway, as long as the plots of the dramas are different, even if similar in essence, it shouldn’t be much of a problem I think.

I think you are misunderstanding the article… it was “Faith” (which is another SBS drama) that was asked to stop by the production team of “Time Slip Dr. Jin” because of the similarity in the story, but the producer of “Faith” says that : “It is already reviewed by the law” and “There is no problem [with the new production]”, so I don’t think they will stop filming.
There is no mention of stopping the airing of Jaejoong’s drama. Aren’t both dramas from SBS?

nope. nothing new in update. Im already going over internet, BUT, I already told by my friend who a fans of Song Seung Hun is already said that when SSH filming Blacksmith CF with Yuchun, he already bring Dr. Jin Script in the filming location. soo…maybe this is the SIGN that Dr. Jin is still producing.

It sounds like everything is going to plan with Dr Jin & Jaejoong. I heard it was going to air in May, but I don’t know when filming will start. They seem to start filming about 2 to 3 weeks ahead of the first episode being aired, so I’m guessing filming will start in April. The problem lies with this other drama called “Faith” which shouldn’t affect Jaejoong or Time Slip Dr Jin. 🙂

Anyway, not sure when they're gonna start filming it but it's set to air in May, when The King 2 Hearts is over. There's no problem regarding Time Slip Dr. Jin, so we don't have to worry about Jaejoong. The problem is with the SBS drama, "Faith", but seems like they're gonna push through with that one too.
I saw this article on FB on almost had a panic attack!! I dont want the chances to see my baby in a drama to be ruined TTATT
