I love his kiss scenes with Elizabeth. He looks very sexy and even fierce; like if he owned her. I like specially the 5th pic, the way he looks at her low cut; showing his desire for her; showing his possessive wishes. Wonderful acting.
And the “death kiss”, oh man, not easy to perform. Excellent Junsu, absolutely merciless and wild. I bow before you Junsu; superb.
Junsu onstage is one of the most charismatic people in the world. This role really gives him a chance to show it off. (Cute Junsu is still my favorite, though.)
LOLOLOL… 🙂 that makes 2 of us then…
How can pics alone be so unbelievably sexy? Drooling over all of them esp. the side profile ones. Sometimes I wonder if this man is real.
I’M DEAD OH WOW WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWEY BABY
#.# this part 3 ? i am so late today but oooooooooooooooooooooooh Junsu is murder , well he is Tod : D
Junsu is driving my poor heart mad , my heart is beating crazy because of Junsu @u@
i’m so rocking happy its more than happy i’m in so much joy i can’t describe , and these are just pics #u#
thank u oh thank u whoever took the pics and thank u admin for posting this thank u whoever had hand in this : P me love this so much ^^
SPEECHLESS……………………………….. These photos show us beyond a shadow of doubt Junsu’s incredible STAGE PRESENCE!
Not only has Junsu totally delivered on his promised interpretation of death as young and sexual, but Junsu’s given us even more!
Junsu shows us a TOD that is not only highly sexual but fiercely masculine, demanding, dominating, controlling, with an Alpha Male confidence that simply lights that stage on fire! And I love his interpretation of…. “Sweet Death.” 🙂
Just look at him…every fiber of his being is engaged in this performance….. his facial expressions, his hands, his body positioning, his movement. His deliberate use of and mastery of BODY LANGUAGE has taken his performance in this musical to a whole different level. Truly Junsu has EMBODIED the character.
In the Newswave.kr interview back in February 2012; Levay said that Junsu shows no pressure to “act” he seems to become the character himself. Levay also said that he was impressed by how deeply “invested” Junsu had become in the TOD character.
@friend
I loved every word of your comment. That is so true. It is his looks, stage presence, expressions, body movement, plus his special ‘stunts’ or dances, which set him apart from the other 2 Deaths. And this seductive charisma is really important for the role of Death.
Even at the open rehearsals one can already tell the difference, it’s so obvious. I saw another snippet of Song Chang Ui’s performance and he was doing something similar to Su (grabbing Elisabeth’s arm), but his body placement was kinda awkward and self-conscious so the effect was totally different.
Many actors can sing well, but not many can act like Su. I believe he is among the best in the world now!
hc that was intense!!!! he is totally into his character. and i like how the kiss scene was executed with both Elisabeth and Rudolf you cannot spot awkwardness at all, and that was done live,no camera tricks. he surely can transmit his emotion to his audience very well. Junsu showed an immense maturity as an actor. well done Junsu, keep it up!!
in these photoes he is like this Exquisite mysterious mystic creature with a strong aura of allurement and power or power and allurement or both at the same level.
WOW!!! o.O!! Junsu oppa is SO SEXY!!! OMG and ih the second pic, she’s eating him .. She’s lucky, lOOKING this photos I want to be a musical Actress.. and kiss sexys oppas!! hahahah
“There are no speed limits on the road to excellence.”
and Junsu is on full speed !
every picture exhibits excellence, how I wish I could see him live.
” wow… is that really elisabeth? she looks… a bit… like a man… @.@ ”
loooooooooool how mean X )
i think Tod doesn’t age while Elizabeth does , even her children are like in their late twenties or thirties so they do need an older Elizabeth for final scenes, but he loves her either way. anyway this actress is really lucky kissing this beautiful yummy youth #u# aww getting a taste of him and his scent O.O i want some too : P i feelz like pervert saying that last part : P sorry my bad
taste…scent…omg.
I just want you guys to know it’s because of comments like YOURS that I have to work reaaaaaaaaaaally hard to not allow my thoughts to stray.
Just thought I’d let you know. LOL
Woo! New pictures with this one!! The one with the statue looks cool! And ahh~ The way Junsu’s hand is wrapped around Rudolph’s neck!! I just know he’s delivering the role like ridiculousss!
he does doesn’t i like how u said dark aura , he is like a beautiful deamon or mystic creature of the dark but so gorgeously lovely to look at very alluring
LOL! Same here..
I actually watched a few clips from some of the earlier productions of “Elisabeth” with variations of the German Cast (one with Kroger from Mozart musical!)–completely amazzzing by the way! Got so into it and really wish I could see Junsu’s now.. and so I’m guessing this kiss is the last scene that I saw.
And in it, they both kind of go at each other ahha. Elisabeth finally succumbs to Death so yeahh..
And with this one, I wonder how they end it.
One version I saw, Elisabeth actually hops into Death’s arms and they share an intense kiss (nooo Junsu!!) and then she goes limp in his arms before he walks away, but not before turning back to the audience one more time and giving a sinister smirk that says “In the end, I got what I want~” (with her still in his arms).
The other is more of a kiss like this, but then he places her on the ground and like..some creatures of the night surround her LOL
But also..this is why I’m really interested in Junsu’s portrayal of Death. Umm..I think I remember him saying how he’d end up getting a bit emotional during the scene where Rudolph kills himself (aww baby..cause you know how he is, his heart haha and he’s just so into it and stuff) and with him..just from the pictures alone..
I can see him playing a more..sensitive(?) ‘Death’…
Like..a ‘Death’ that isn’t so cold and unfeeling…shows some type of humanity..some type of feeling and vulnerability even if only to Elisabeth. A ‘Death’ that truly DOES love Elisabeth.
And so a ‘Death’ that totally breaks down the ideas people often have of it as being nothing but bad. I can see Junsu could bringing that..positive that death can hold. Closure..end of pain/comfort…in the subtlety of an expression on his face, or the tenderness in his voice, etc. –because of his unique emotional investment with the role.
Because the ending I got with Kroger when her turns around and looks at the audience (creepy by the way LOL but aweeesome acting and voice haha~ the Elisabeth lady was AMAZING as well) was that it was just like “Ha! GOTCHYA!”
And Junsu’s face here…the emooootiooon<3
“Like..a ‘Death’ that isn’t so cold and unfeeling…shows some type of humanity..some type of feeling and vulnerability even if only to Elisabeth. A ‘Death’ that truly DOES love Elisabeth.”
–> I read somewhere that Junsu’s portrayal of Death is exactly that lol so in the end when he finally got her but she could only stay with him for a few moments before she crossed over to the next life, he kissed her happily but he showed a tear because he was sad.
Ohh yes yes! I believe it was a Junsu interview wasn’t it? He was saying that he showed a little tear but the interviewer lady was saying how she was too far away to notice lol (At least I THINK I read that in an interview..I don’t know. I’ve read so many things haha)
Ahh..either way I think we can all agree without even seeing the musical that Junsu is offering a unqiue interpretation of Death~
OMG Junsu look gorgeous, hot, and sexy as all get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The costumes are beautiful!!!!!!!!! I love the way he uses his body movement and facial expressions in a sexy way to say what he want to say!!!!!!!!!!!
