i was so shocked to read how big the maltitude (?) was…. 8,9SR.. and from twitter just now i read at 16:48:03 WIB (20 minutes after the first one) BMKG stated there is another 6,1 SR earthquake in Aceh

Hello my dearest sis!!! I am fine. The earthquakes were indeed big enough to make us dizzy, but Medan is quite safe, except for the power off in some areas, due to the joined power-plant with Aceh.

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – An 8.7-magnitude quake was recorded off the coast of Sumatra in Indonesia, media reports said. The quake was centered 30 kilometers under the sea and about 495 kilometers from Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
The quake triggered an Indian Ocean tsunami watch.
At least 28 countries are under the tsunami watch, including Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and India, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The Philippines is not included in the tsunami watch.
Quakes of such magnitude “have the potential to generate a widespread destructive tsunami that can affect coastlines across the entire Indian Ocean basin,” the center added.
Tremors have been felt in Singapore, Thailand and southern India, the BBC said.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the earthquake had a magnitude of 8.7 off the west coast of northern Sumatra in Indonesia and near Banda Aceh.

I think it is because I wanted to know more about the EQ, I remained on my seat, trying to get the latest info in Aceh (the closest area). While others were running out, some of us googling down info diligently.
I am practically fine. And there is no tsunami. Unfortunately, the electricity is still off in Aceh, and they were having an election when the EQ occured. It was pretty messy and chaos there. I hope things are settled down now and no problems were created due to panic.

I concern more about the people in Aceh rather than myself. I can stand the annoying feeling such as dizziness but the ones who actually suffer the Earthquake are the ones in Aceh and Simeuleu Island. My prayers (and others) should go to them.

I live in Melaka, Malaysia….. my house about 3 to 5km away from shore line.
So it’s a common thing to felt tremors if big EQ happens in Sumatra ~ well right after the big EQ in 2004.
The first one took so long and felt strong than usual… a bit scary.

They were 8.7 and 8.1 respectively. So yes… those EQ were big. I could not imagine how terrible they were in Aceh and Simeuleu Island, since they are the closest to the centre. We in Medan were surely shaken and people who worked at high building were freaked out and scattered from the building. I felt dizzy but I was more eager to know where the centre was and diligently googling down information.
I am at home now and pretty safe and sound.

how are you and your family? today was seen so i will hope for continued blessing tomorrow. i’ve been busy lately and not feeling energetic physically. i need Jae vitamins and hope our sisters will throw them tomorrow. in mega doses if possible.

oh i’ll have to miss the herd of Jae-desperate housewives again for two weeks, i’ll be off today to a remote and virgin island somewhere down south for a holiday. Wish i could kidnap Jae with me, i wouldn’t mind getting stranded with him there forever 🙂
@mamajyj, i’m imagining bringing with me your Jae-desperate swimwear and imagine lying on the white sand with Jae, and frolick in the sea…but oh i’ve to teach Jae swimming lessons first so we can explore the deep blue sea together and swim with the whale sharks called “Butanding” here in the Phil 🙂

Can someone answer a couple questions for me:
First I want to say I know in dramas not everything is always explained in detail. But I have some questions becaus I may have missed something.
Rooftop Prince:
1. How old is the evil sister Sena over Bak Ha?
2. Even though Bak Ha descided to stay, where did the truck take her stuff?
3. Did they all stay in the RV with Bak Ha? Or did Lee Gak and the men continue to stay with the grandmother until the rooftop room was completed?
Also:
4. In JYJ video In Heaven, at the end of the video, did Junsu die with his girlfriend trying to save her from being hit by the car? I could never figure that out because they show them sitting on the bench together.

Morning all!!!! Thanks God, there was no more Earthquake last night. People in Aceh are still gathering in some Masjids and are still worried about the tsunami. It is understandable. They are still suffering from the trauma they experienced in 2004.
According to the local medias, some rivers were flooded but the level was not dangerous for the people.
Thank u for all JYJ family’s supports to us, Indonesian people. I hope people living at the coastlines in Malaysia and Singapore are also okay.

ok, i just check my twitter (so tired yesterday), and i just see a link of SME Academy promotion video (http://tvpot.daum.net/v/40960699?lu=flvPlayer_in). and they put Jae’s pic and even mentioned him (as Youngwoong JaeJoong)… i mean, they use Changmin’s.. why not Yunho? why must Jae? and worse, it was from The Beginning pic.. SME doesnt have right to use the pic for promotional reasons right?
gosh, i am so mad… they blocked them, but still use them? get in JYJ coattails for their success? heck, what JYJ have achieved right now are bigger than when they were in TVXQ, so SME have no right to claimed what JYJ achieve these past 2 years as part of their work or made it look like they success bcoz of them (AME), esp with them blocked JYJ. all their successes these past 2 years are JYJ n Cjes n all their staffs works, not SME’s. Heck!!! dont they have a shame????
