there is nothing wrong with beauty : P i love beautiful eyeliner make up , how u style ur hair and dye it the clothes and accessories u ware all the point is u use all that to bring out a beautiful side of ur facial features and since this is entertainment this is the right place for it , Junsu’s voice is already alluring so its great his outer image matches his voice , and thats an alluring image like in Ayy girl MV i really found him tempting i don’t understand others shock with Junsu’s image in that MV i think its cause they are used to a particular image of Junsu and weren’t ready to accept a new image , me i am a beauty seeker in general so i love how his hair was styled and dyed and how the eyeliner defined his eyes and his cheery lipstick contrast with his skin making his face glow more. fans need to see it through the beauty angle while enjoying the beauty of his voice. don’t worry about others thoughts they need to open their mind and enjoy the beautiful man image some think man shouldn’t look beautiful just handsome is okay, why should i be prevented to enjoy a mans beauty because of society’s look towards how a man should look, i am the one going to lose feeling good and a beautiful man makes me feel good and happy i feel pleasure doubled if the singer is beautiful. i feel pleasure from his voice and pleasure from his beauty it comes together and blow me away and i like the feeling cause its super exciting and makes me very happy . women are the winners if the man let shows his, his, beauty .

@yuasato – hi there. This is my *take* on the Junsu teasers….Yoochun & JaeJoong are forging side-careers in ‘straight-up’ acting. That’s their thing. Yoochun is doing a bang-up job and JaeJoong is not far behind him….so ..YAY!

Don’t know about you…but I’ve attended dozens & dozens of musicals….and Full-blown Opera as well.
It’s an art form that’s OVER-THE-TOP. always has been always will be….because it’s Theatre! …musical stage performance is glitzy, shiny…dripping with props and booming orchestra.
Junsu is taking the elements of his *strength* and going solo with it. I think it’s actually VERY wise of him to incorporate his experience with Mozart & Elisabeth into his first solo album.
Honestly…I expect him to forge a stage career in musicals well into his 50’s ….if his voice holds out (and I suspect it will, with the care he takes of himself)….So, personally, I think he’s going in the right direction for himself.
As for *jokes by International fans*…..think of it this way:
* what if David Bowie had been frightened ‘what people might say’ when he did Ziggy Stardust? (he’s absolute LEGEND now for having done it….copied over and over again….Lady GaGa and those like her owe Bowie A LOT.)
* even further back…what if Elvis was too shy to wiggle & hip thrust?
* …and even though he’s not *my* taste….what if Justin Beiber didn’t have the courage to make a youtube?

i have never watch a musical (and maybe dozen others), but i know what a musical singer can do, and i’m totally saying that a musical singers are another batch of level compare to the pop singer (IMO). i don’t mind with the voice (junsu never disappoint me in this department, so does the other 2) but it’s the VISION, the eyes department that make me cringe. if you see this in a performace, it’s ordinary, since its what they usually have, but outside the theater, i doubt people see it in a good way.
(non-fans don’t care about talent if you got something more interesting to joke, i cringe if new fans learn about JYJ from their AYY GIRL’s mv, that’s definitely a turned off, i’m a hardcore fan, yet i can’t finish watching that mv until now)

Exactly!! What male in his late 20s would not think about their LONG-TERM career future? He would be a fool not to! Yes two years ago Junsu discovered exactly where he belonged in the Universe. He found a place that was a perfect match to his God-Given ability. The world of Musicals is a fit for him because music is his passion, it’s part of the very fiber of who he is.
Yet even so… Junsu still has youth on his side and that means at this stage while he still can, he can experiment.. and he is taking every opportunity to do so. Could Junsu try a concept like this at 40 years old? I suppose so, but why not just do it now. Now is the time to take some risks and break free of “boxes” the fandom and SME placed on him in for so many years…. and with all the experiences he gathers he can map out and create a phenomenal career for himself, a musical career he himself has crafted and not someone else.

* if he chooses rock-gothic…it will shock, but it will sell
* if he does R&B (which I suspect he will) …it will sell………….(and I’ll be the 1st to buy)
JYJ…and each one of them as individuals, are using all the things they learn as they travel AWAY from pop-idol-dom…to become their BEST selves.

Exactly!! What male in his late 20s would not think about their LONG-TERM career future? He would be a fool not to! Yes two years ago Junsu discovered exactly where he belonged in the Universe. He found a place that was a perfect match to his God-Given ability. The world of Musicals is a fit for him because music is his passion, it’s part of the very fiber of who he is.
Yet even so… Junsu still has youth on his side and that means at this stage while he still can, he can experiment.. and he is taking every opportunity to do so. Could Junsu try a concept like this at 40 years old? I suppose so, but why not just do it now. Now is the time to take some risks and break free of “boxes” the fandom and SME placed on him in for so many years…. and with all the experiences he gathers he can map out and create a phenomenal career for himself, a musical career he himself has crafted and not someone else.

Yes, I think this is an important thing to do as a fan. I mean, we’ve been following these guys, applauding their achievements, and now suddenly we think we know better?
That is why even though only the teaser has come out, some of us are going out on a limb and staking a claim that it is going to be good.

I LOLed at the way you inserted “2 generations apart”! I don’t really know if by that, you meant that you are an older fan… but as an older fangirl myself, it is easier to accept non-fans’ rantings about them (JYJ), since what matters most is actually how you feel… on a personal level.

sally_b is right about Junsu selling any song he sings, concepts are just part of the package (lena) after all.
There ISN’T a public figure in this world that can please everyone with whatever he or she does, all at the same time… so why feel sad or affected when you see a negative comment? (cliche but good enough a reason for me)
Just remind yourself to fall in love with his voice again, whenever you hear it! Like how I fell into his fandom at the first place.
Anyhow! I shall learn not to be too bothered by concepts too… which I am still learning, and remind myself of why I fell in love with this perfect idol again! And again.
Even if Junsu is to continue with musical, it will be just fine by me. He IS Junsu after all, part of JYJ, my bias forever.
A happy Junsu is a successful Junsu… and a satisfied me. 🙂

OMG Junsu’s eyes are soooo beautiful. I hope he doesnt go totally over the top with his new look as he doesnt have to. His voice and looks are all he really needs but as its Junsu I’m sure he will carry it off amazingly as he always does. Lets wait and see
