love the photos! he really is looking amazing these days… welll always.. but the blond and black, outfit and everything is just perfection on him…
but..the bugaboo.tv logo…is distracting…couldn’t they placed that elsewhere?
Again Junsu defies expectation… I’m sure the press thought he would show up in a black suit and tie…
This outfit is edgy. Very different for Junsu yet it suits him perfectly.. it works. I love the black boots and the layering of his clothing with that modified waistcoat vest… that is pure styling genius..reminiscent of Mozart yet very gothe in the layering.
The jewelry selections especially the the rings, and the multiple wide bracelets on each wrist place a focus around his hands. This is well thought out considering the cultural greeting for Thailand…palms pressed together. In addition Su tends to “talk” with his hands (the press caught a few of these moments above) ..so the use of the jewelry was a great styling decision. .
The whole outfit matches the dark mystical theme of the concert. Again Junsu is showing he is willing to take risks..the NORM would have been to show up in a regular suit and tie.. but again he surprises us and shows us something very different.
Bottomline THE MAN LOOKS GOOD! 🙂
I so agree with your comments. (as usual. Soooo boring, lilibaiyu… admit it, all the JYJ3 people are just WAITING for the day you’re going to answer one of AFOJYJ’s posts with “That’s the most asinine, crackpot theory I’ve ever read!!” lol)
*Ahem*… but I digress. I’ll admit this much. My esteem for Junsu grows day by day. I have just been ~loving~ watching this breath-taking metamorphosis unfold before our eyes. It’s really been quite extraordinary. I have never seen an artist burst into such passionate flower like this before, and certainly not this quickly, although I realize now that all the signs were there, months ago. But I’ve always maintained that Junsu was an incredibly driven competitor. And here we see him clearly trumping his brothers (all of them, Junho included!) in the most sensational and astounding way. (I realize that this point is arguable, and certainly it’s only my opinion.) But Chunnie and Jae are going to have to get back to the writing studios pronto and come up with something pretty spectacular to compare to what we’ve seen Junsu accomplish with Tarantellagra.
LOL… I bow to you my sister… I’m still here because of many like you who love the mutual sharing of ideas whether we agree or disagree. We can talk without the personal attack and still come back and talk and share again over and over even if we disagree. That’s the dynamic that was in “olden” days of JYJ3″….
….but I digress.. THIS..”this breath-taking metamorphosis unfold before our eyes..” AND “..I have never seen an artist burst into such passionate flower like this before..”
To me Junsu is like an onion. But in his case he…himself is peeling back the layers…..gradually exposing facets of his personality when the time is right…so yes it does seem like a a metamorphosis. But really playing TOD was the catalyst for the peeling back of the layers. The role of TOD forced him to clarify in his mind what is sexy, masculine, feminine. The role helped him to clearly define who he was in the past, who he is now and who he wants to be in the future.. and most of all it clarified his own sexuality. Junsu is now comfortable in his own skin. That’s the metamorphosis..
A few months ago before Elizabeth Junsu made this statement to the press:
___________
Kim Junsu: To me, challenges are a double-edged sword. Actually, as an artist, there are not that many things you can choose from. If you do not want to be eliminated, then all you can do is to constantly change. Of course, there are times when it just cannot be done, but even if you fail, it is a valuable experience.. ”

He made this statement February 2012… To those who are labeling him “clueless” I say… really? Look again… He says “If you do not want to be eliminated, then you have to constantly change…”
This was the seed of XIA & Tarantellegra in the making right back here! Metamorphosis.. bursting into such a passionate flower… yes… it does seem organic.. but Junsu is a planner when it comes to his career.. that fierce competitive nature of his hints at the fact that this change may not only have been deliberate but highly strategic.

Hahaha! yup why they have to put it on his crotch. And the expression is so perverted.
To Junsu’s stylist… Thank You! 🙂
