An article entitled “Sasaeng fans of Park Yoochun installed CCTV in the parking lot of his house” that was posted on an online community board inflicted shock.
A photo captured by CCTV shows Park Yoochun hiding behind a wall, looking around the parking lot and was moving cautiously.
These CCTV are installed by sasaeng fans in the parking lot of Park Yoochun’s house. The screen captures that came directly from the CCTV has led to a greater impact in the online community.
Looking at this photos, netizens posted: “This is really severe”, “It’s even hard for him to enter his own house”, “Sasaeng fans please stop now”, “Scary”, showing a variety of reactions.
Park Yoochun in an interview last June with TV report said “I do not think they are fans. I’ve tried to understand them but it’s been eight years and it’s difficult.”

[NEWS] 120710 Sasaeng Fans Install CCTVs at JYJ Park Yoo Chun’s House
Following after Super Junior Heechul’s rant on sasaeng fans, or fans who obsessively stalk a star, it’s come to light that now they’ve gone as far as installing CCTVs at the residence of celebrities.
On July 10, a shocking compilation of photos were uploaded online on various communities.
The photos were from a CCTV that was installed in the parking lot of JYJ Park Yoo Chun’s house.
The photos show Park Yoo Chun getting into his car on multiple occasions, sometimes even hiding behind walls to avoid sasaeng fans.
The photos called quite a stir as netizens became outraged that people who call themselves fans could install their personal cameras to observe Park Yoo Chun in this manner, let alone, upload the images online.
Ironically, the JYJ members were criticized last March when the members were recorded cursing at sasaeng fans.
After these photos were released, netizens commented, “This is too much,” “Why should he struggle to even get to his own house,” and “Sasaeng fans need to stop. This is insane.”

why this issue arise again suddenly?
Heechul deleted his twitter after posting a message about saesang fans following him and making him uncomfortable and fearful
i read about that at allkpop about heechul’s twitter, but why they make the news subject is JYJ again?
ikr. so annoying. sometimes i even think these people taking advantage by manipulating news (release something like they’re new when they’re old, dug up pasts to bring down celebrities, etc) are even worse than sesaeng. i don’t know how this sesaeng affect jyj image, but it’s definitely affec jyj fandom image.
who knows…it does seem like this came from nowhere, doesn’t it?
“On July 10, a shocking compilation of photos were uploaded online on various communities.”
The second sentence of the article says why it’s become an issue again.
i’m pretty sure i’ve seen those photos before, so it’s not new photos at all. then why those photos uploaded again?
Maybe they were taken down earlier, & then re-posted? It seems a big motivation for these sasaengs is showing off to other’s pictures only they got.
why must our boys being the subject again? why not other K-artist? -____________-
JYJ already have lot of trouble, this news makes extra problem for them. poor our boys.
*sigh* that’s why i kinda questioned some of these ‘journalists’ integrity. i mean, they just take what’s trending on communities (equal to how people here post up some things in gapp/odp), and most times without providing all info. i’m pretty sure this is not happened recently, and they take it as materials for their new article. if people aren’t known to this fact, they must have think this is something happened recently.
WILL THEY NEVER STOP?!?!?
JESUS!! It hurts…
Seriously, it pain my heart to see this. Especially the photo in which yoochun hide behind the wall to avoid the saesang fans. Come on! He is a top idol yet he have to live in fear! This is just too much! Shame on these saesang fans to call themselves as fans! Is this the way to treat the people they love?
Grrr…ack! Is this what living is? I would smash those cameras down but I’m guessing they’ve already been taken care of since by publishing the photos the crazies are revealing the cameras existence. JYJ give us everything, their music, their energy, their acting; they do everything to appear as much as possible in front of us. How much more do these stalkers need? I don’t like these pictures, I don’t want to see him like this.
I would sincerely hope that this becomes the stroke that broke the camel’s back and to just take action against these people. The cameras and the uploaded photos are proof enough. This is so fucking stupid. How can people do this and no one does anything to stop them? What the hell is wrong with people? And I hope that JYJ don’t hold back on these freaks just because they call themeselves fans. Nasty derp-faces with no boyfriends, friends or family so they resort to stalking someone they can never have. Urggghhhh. I’m so disgusted.
and yet we will see some people saying that these are still “passionate fans” and Celebrities knew what they were getting into 😡
With idiots like those, I just ignore. They have shit for brains so their opinions aren’t even worth a pimple on an amoeba’s back.
What I want is for those “underage girls” to be locked in jail. I could be kind and wish them therapy for their millions of issues but I would rather see them suffer. That is just me though. Kinder souls might propose better solutions than me.
@meme & JYJ
“and yet we will see some people saying that these are still “passionate fans” and Celebrities knew what they were getting into”
Honestly I think the people who post things like that on-line are just bad-mouthing, trying to get a rise out of people. This is the downside of the internet. Everyone is equal and anonymous in these fan forums. I don’t take people who say such nonsense seriously for one minute. Nobody should.
this is really too much!!! please leave him alone in his private spaces.
Can i beat them up? -.-
I’ll hold them and you punch them! 😉
Why don’t they report them to the police !!!!
Because most of time this doesn’t work at all, almost all sasaeng fans are minors and come back home after a warning…
And even more important, police doesn’t see it like a important issue, but a Kids play… It’s sad but that’s what most of people who don’t know the reallity think about this…
they did, numoreous times. but the police always release them back, since ‘they are minor/underage’ and that was “their first offender”. i remember there was this one girl who reported jaechun n Chun’s manager to police by claimed that chun’s manager was pushed n hit her n jaechun just laughed n do nothing. this happened while JaeChun was out to ate at restaurant. turns out later (from cctv from the resto n testimonies from many witnesses), that this girl along with bunch of others were chased out by the resto manager coz they were so noisy n disturbing guests. even from outside they keep yelling n knocking at the resto window to make JaeChun look at them. when the boys finished n went out, these girl sorrounded them, so Chun’s manager have to pushed them so they can walk through. the girl’s feet seemed to caught other sasaeng’s feet n fell down. no violence act happened. Chun’s manager admitted outright that he was pushed the girl when the police asked him. he was punished. but do you know what happened to the girl that accused he was hitting her n Jae n Chun just watching. the police release her after a night on interrogation, coz ‘she was underage n never involved in any crime before’. so the manager who was wrongly accused n jaeChun who was also accused got bad PR (this was on the news back then), Chun’s manager got punished for pushed the girl in order so they can pass through those crazy sasaengs, but he got punished. while the real offender just walk freely. oh ya, JaeChun n chun’s manager didnt put charges on the girl, eventho the police said they can. imagine that.
Would it be considered bad PR for JYJ in Asia if they did press charges against the sasaengs? Cause that might be the only way to stop them – if the guys themselves do press charges against the sasaengs who invade their privacy, & esp against those who assault them or their managers. After all, even if laws are changed giving idols more privacy, it won’t do JYJ any good if they don’t press charges against the crazies who violate those laws. I’m curious as to why they put up with it to the degree that they do? Are they just used to it, or is it because of all the other law suits & blocking going on makes them feel like they have to put up with it, so they aren’t accused of rocking the boat on yet another issue that could be used against them? Or do they still think that even these sasaengs are fans who love them & deserve their love in return? & if the sasaengs are happy to wrongfully accuse their idols of assault, what might they do to JYJ’s future girlfriends & wives?? That’s scary just thinking about…
i guess since this happened to others also (Shinhwa also experienced it), it seems its just because there isnt any law that can control these sasaeng activity. yes, what they did so often breaking laws, but what can you do when even you put charges, those girls wont be punished because they are underage girls n ‘first offender’. and yes, the well known phrase ‘they are celebs, they must ready for this kind of things’. and what i mean abt bad PR was because of that girl accusations, JaeChun got the bad effect, since that what became quite news in SK that time. luckily at the end people could see who is the guilty party in here. but as far as i remember, during that time, many thought that the police was just covered up for jaechun since they are popular celebs, and those people even asked police to shown the cctv records to prove that jaeChun really was innocent.
something wrong somewhere with their brain maybe…..
Hopefully more attention on this issue, showing exactly how invasive these sasaengs are, & that it IS NOT THE IDOLS/CELEBRITIES AT FAULT, but the sasaengs, will put pressure on the Govt to put stronger laws in place protecting idols & celebrities. Poor Chunnie, having to sneak into his own garage…. 😦 These pics make me really sad & really angry at the same time.
I liked this . . Just dont bother them!
I need to see face Yc♥ *miss*
WTF o_O…. did you see how he was hiding behind the walls… its painful but couldn’t but laugh
OMG. This is crazy! Look at YC. He even had to hide behind the wall??? That’s crazy!!!! See, these crazy fans made us real and genuine fans worried. I hope YC doesn’t close his twitter account. Seriously, get a life, you crazy saesang!!!!!
I’ve just saw this crazy news in FAce Book also . As like Yoochun said they surely not his fans . They just want to find something bad to talk about Yoochun . These kind of people really so pity Being control by Devil mind . Hope Yoochun has the strength to ignore them . Red carpet and your awards waiting for you … Just relax , keep healty n happy .
Poor Chunnie! can you guys stop all these stupid action immediately, fade up & tired with these people “shield: under the name of fans. These sickening people is using excuse to mentally torture him, he seems like living in a prison. God of Mercy, please response to my chanting & help this poor guy…
i cried when i saw the pictures this morning.. these picture really hurt me 😥
Reblogged this on xiahprincess and commented:
Este tema es de nunca acabar lamentablemente…espero q la justicia coreana pueda poner ffina ese tipo de cosas y de ordenes derestricción o les permitan el uso de la fuerza. Porque ellas ya no pueden ser personales normales. u_ú
Tis is so awful!!!!! I feel so sorry and scared for Yoochun and any idol who has to put up with the craziness!! These are not fans but sick people who stalk the idol. I do not understand why the police do not see this as a dangerous act of stalking and arrest the poeple. I say regardless if the person is a teen they should still be punished. I am glad that some netizens feel the same way as we do. This would not be ok in the US and the person would be punished. They need to change their laws fast to protect the idols lives.
people who doing such things is not normal, they are psycho…they are not allowed to walk freely among us..
Yeah, I seriously question the contention that all sasaengs are minors. So a bunch of 16 year old girls went to a security company and the guys installing the camera were like, “sure, you girls seem like you have the authority to monitor someone else’s house.” Or is Korea the kind of place where you can do anything with enough money? I really don’t know.
Also, is this something they grow out of? Because if a sasaeng was 17 in 2007, for example, then yeah….not so much a minor any more.
Not to mention – and I understand this is true – but WHY are minors not held responsible for their actions? Where I live, minors who commit crimes are tried as minors, and punishments are certainly not the same as for adults, but there are still consequences – especially for repeat offenders. Stalking is a crime.
This is ridiculous! These actions come from fans? I have heard of those who chase after them in cars, but cameras around his home?!! Too far. Way too far. Can’t something legal be done? Because that could certainly scare away many of these insane people.
This is old news! Please don’t start this up again; it just adds fuel to the fire; which i hoped was out!!!
I don’t mind this getting out. I want people to know and be reminded what saesang “fans” are and what they do. I hope this adds fuel to the fire for the government, police, those saesangs, other fans, etc to change. If nothing changes then Yoochun would have to keep sneaking around in his own home!
i agree with your opinion that this issue need to be reminded, but not our boys whose being the subject again!
we know that’s not only JYJ who have this crazy fans, other K artist have their sasaeng too. but why must our boys must being the subject and endure it alone? they’ve already through so much pain in their life. just give them a little peaceful life for God sake.
this: not only JYJ have sesaeng fans!! heechul has sasaeng fans, super junior have sasaeng fans, shinhwa have sasaeng fans, almost all idols probably have problem with this kind of fans. how medias cater around JYJ fans kinda annoyed me. people now start caring of sasaeng fans issue, all idols probably having the advantages from this, and yet only JYJ and fans took all the bad PR. where’s the fairness in this? now each time another celebrity address sasaeng issue, the next thing happened is JYJ sasaeng article popped up again, even if the materials are just recycled over and over again. meh.
I really feel so sad for the boys. Yes, they are celebrities but they do need their own privacy and own life too. They didn’t sold their life to these crazy fans! Someone, please stop them!!
that’s really too over.. everyone have their own private …why they don’t to stop …that’s hurt 유친 and all fans …that’s so crazy and cannot be agree to…#…#
These mentals…..they have some serious issues in their heads
But I have to admit that …I really do like the boys and all….. But I wouldn’t do things like invating their privacy….Don’t their parents or teachers teach them things like basic decency to follow….I really surprise that they still are minors and they don’t have manners and all…kids these days have a lot to do other than these….
These crazy a long time that has passed the limits, it is possible that will never end????? I want to see if it was with them how they feel. If it were me I would have kicked the tent pole for a long time even more with the personality that I have
This is nuts! What would really help is if they stopped being call ‘fans’ and called what they really are stalkers, dangerous ones at that. Last I checked such an invasion of privacy is illegal
*sigh* that’s why i kinda questioned some of these ‘journalists’ integrity. like what, they just take what’s trending on communities (like dc gall), and most times without providing all infos. i’m pretty sure this is not happened recently, just like someone post old photos/pics/vids in gapp/odp, and they make things like this as a material for their new article. if people aren’t known to this fact, they must have think this is something happened recently.
@noiha
The unfortunate part is that this is the state of journalism worldwide. Who can get to the train wreck first, who can get the report of the train wreck out the fastest, etc. Integrity, honesty, and facts have not one thing to do with it any more. It’s just that SK doesn’t seem to be willing to enact laws that will protect against things like this. Therefore the sensational journalism will continue to have a field day.
@BAFfie
” It’s just that SK doesn’t seem to be willing to enact laws that will protect against things like this.”
My theory on why this is is that SK has a real love-hate relationship with its celebrities: actors, pop-stars, etc. They hold actors to an impossibly high standard of moral conduct bordering on prudishness. With pop-stars it seems even worse. If a pop-star dates, it’s not, “Oh – so-and-so is dating.” It’s a “scandal.” In fact pretty much everything they do that is out of this narrow ‘show up in front of us, entertain us, be as sexy as you can possibly be and then go away and live like cloistered monks’ mentality is a “scandal.”for years
I’ve been really shocked at the whipping in the press and online the members of JYJ have taken from the SK press and netizens over the last 2 years. Slave contracts? ‘Who cares.’ Being systematically robbed of their rightful royalties?? ‘So what.’ Being forced to work for years till exhaustion and injury sets in? ‘Well, they looked OK in their last video…’ It’s an attitude that is one part simply naive and one part just uncaring of them as actual human beings with real feelings it seems to me. It all looks soooo glamorous, the life of an idol star. I think the over-riding attitude is that they aren’t entitled to justice under the law because they look like they are already having it so good compared to ‘normal’ people.
*sigh* that’s why i kinda questioned some of these ‘journalists’ integrity. i mean, they just take what’s trending on communities (equal to how people here post up some things in gapp/odp), and most times without providing all infos. i’m pretty sure this is not happened recently, and they make things like this as a material for their new article. if people aren’t known to this fact, they must have think this is something happened recently.
crap…….. T.T sorry for double posting.
here we go again… such old news… what’s new… those pic has been circulating in the net for ages ago… taken down now it’s up again… what’s with this journalist can’t find any news to talk about yoochun – who is presently enjoying his time out of the limelight at the moment? Give him a break… If they’ve got nothing good to say, find something new to talk about… not old stories…
hmmmm….
19 July coming soon….
so…yea….like we all know…
by ‘draging/digging(/manipulating?) and put JYJ on the hightlight on such news..
might caught some attentions(?)…or DESTRACT ppl frm THE MAIN ISSUE…
JYJ-SM-LAWSUIT!
ALSO…Questioning->Since JYJ want to ‘get free’…BUT WHERE’s Their Freedom(?)
*_ _ sorry…me bad english
sometimes i just feel that instead of fans reuniting giving them item, might as well hired them bodyguards. this is just my opinion tho. this is so sick, how i wish in korea there is a union or organization represent the artist rights and make petition or bills this so that there is an authorization and injunction for anonymous to them to step into their garage. or even hired a patrol police to round around their housing area
Oh, shocking image compilation, shocking news, really, where were these reporters when the sasaeng issue first broke out several months ago? These things were revealed back then as well. Why do they dig up old stuff about JYJ again? If it’s because of Heechul’s tweets, how come they didn’t go interview him and write up articles with examples from other celebrities? JYJ are not the only ones who have many crazy sasaengs. What is ridiculous is that after reading many ugly facts about sasaengs’ wrongdoings and insane staker-ish actions, some retards still think those girls are innocent and tolerable. >__> Korean laws should have some clauses to punish these people who have caused trauma to and mentally abused others even at such young ages.
HONESTLY, WHEN WILL THEY STOP THIS MADNESS? Leave the boys alone!
Leave our boy alone please!!!
