Park Yoochun’s popularity in China was revealed earlier by the petition for a fan event but even the drama “Rooftop Prince,” which he starred in, is experiencing surges of fame in China.
Starring Park Yoochun and Han Jimin, the time-traveling drama received a warm welcome in Korea, shown through its high ratings. It’s popularity carried over to China as shown on Youku, a popular Chinese video site. On Youku, it is the third most watched Korean drama of all time and in all genres. The videos have achieved over 88 million views.
The drama is topped by “Temptation of a Wife” and “City Hunter,” based only on the number of view counts. Taking the user-based star ratings into account, “Rooftop Prince” scored a 9.3 out of 10 while the two others were given an 8.1 and 8.6 respectively.

Rooftop Prince is the #1 drama in its genre for me this year. It tells of an epic love tale. A love that knew no time boundaries.

of course we believed in those ratings..biased aside rooftop prince is really a good drama to watch..its one of the best series that ive seen…it will be on the one of the all time fav series..and its addictive too..ive been watching til now..cant really let go…plus the lead is no other than PARK YUCHUN!!!he’s really good in his roles..he really bring life to the character of yong tae yong prince lee gak..no wonder many people fell for it..and many many fans will be bewitched with the charm of park yuchun…nad 77 million before and now its 88 million…in just a matter of few days it reached to 88 million..that so huge!!!congrats to yuchun and the whole casts of RTP..you did a great job..

This region is restrictive to PRC netizens only , luckily some portals allow HK, Taiwan,

Rooftop Prince is the best drama I ever saw . I’ve been watching Korean drama since winter sonata . RP really perfect not only because Yoochun was the main actor but the story line also very good. Of course with Yoochun as main actor its really more wonderful . I’m sure after watch this drama he will get more n more fans who lOve him . Please vote for him . He deserves the awards .
