Viewers of Doctor Jin are now paying attention to the decision Jae Joong will make in the last episode.
In MBC TV’s drama series Doctor Jin, Kyung Tak (played by Jae Joong) has reached a crossroad where he has to decide to choose his family or his love and friendship.
In the 18th episode, which aired on July 22, Kyung Tak becomes a double spy to protect his father Byung Hee (played by Kim Eung Soo). However, after getting advice from his best friend Young Hwi (played by Jin Yi Han) and finding out that his old lover Young Rae (played by Park Min Young) is facing death because of the religious persecution of Catholicism, he also tries to save both.
A spokesperson for the series says, “Kyung Tak is the most important person for Ha Eung and Byung Hee who are in confrontation with each other, and he’s also a person who has no political ambitions.”
Viewers reacted: “I feel so sad because of Kyung Tak. He’s just being used by everyone.” “I think Doctor Jin needs to cure Kyung Tak’s confused mind first.” “I want to go back to the past to save Kyung Tak.” “All Kyung Tak needs is someone’s sincere love. I’m so sad.”
The spokesperson also says, “What’s really attractive about this series is that viewers can imagine what would happen if they could change the history or what decision they would make if they were in the old days. Because the viewers can feel the concerns and pain of the time by watching Kyung Tak’s confusing situations, they’re immersed in Kyung Tak’s emotion.”
wow…. reading this news, it seems as if Kyung Takk was the main character ^^… well, for me He is 🙂
hahaha so true! xD
For me too! ;D
Viewers are in sympathy w/ KT’s character coz of JJ’s excellent acting, not coz they’re imagining what it wud be like to be able to change history. Psh, reporter-nim.
Please stay alive …. and be on your own …you don’t need yr evil dad…. Jaejoong KKT fighting.
seriously after i read this and also following the story, i wonder who is actually the main character ? is that Dr Jin or Takkie ? because in the end everything is depend to Takkie……and even though his appearance just several minutes in every episode but his role become more important than Jin himself…… that was only my opinion
If the actor playing Kyung Tak character didnt delivery right emotion, viewer can’t connected and got the ‘feel’ from it……But Jaejoong definitely nail the character very well…viewers can connected with him and feel the pain that he felt through his sad eyes and emotions…Jaejoong’s the one who created and decorated the character emotion out from the script book..just saying~~~lol..
If it was just an ordinary supporting actor giving life to the Kyung Tak character, I think KTak’s significance is not as highly remarkable as the Kyung Tak played by Kim Jaejoong. Jae’s mere physical presence on the screen is already a striking factor, complemented by the depth of his acting ability, he has placed the character on a much higher level. And it’s good that they dropped the KT-YR love angle, instead they focus of how he is torn between family and friendship in dealing with the political power struggle. The writer did well, at least for Kyung Tak, for leaving the viewers into guessing game what’s really in his mind. And I think he tries to help YR for for YHwi’s sake …
his family or his love and friendship.
You mean between Dad and Young Hwi ? lol
I agree that it is Kim Jaejoong’s acting that has boosted the significance and popularity of Kyung Tak the character. Since the latter half of the drama, Jaejoong has been precise and professional in expressing every changes, struggles, inner turmoils, and emotions of Takie. I heard that the director/PD cut 2 important scenes of Kyung Tak in ep.20, thus making viewers confused about the flow of the story. I missed the gist of that episode as well. I’ll wait for next week to know Takie’s final decision because it’s become impossible to guess what his next step will be. Whatever it is, scriptwriters had better not force an ending for KT-YR because at this point it will be extremely ridiculous if they suddenly get together.
hope there will be happy ending for KKT I also almost think that KKT is the main cast and forget that there is dr jin
he he maybe I‘m to bias over kim jaejoong.
oh shoot…for a second i thought they meant that it was LITERALLY Jaejoong’s decision. Honestly…Without Kyungtak’s, Dr.Jin wouldn’t have left such an impression…Not just because he’s Jaejoong but because it’s Kyungtak. (LOL~ if that makes sense to others.)
T.T I almost didn’t watch the drama for the fear that he’s going to be hurted again.

I hope KKT make the right decision
I just think that KKT’s scenes are too short in each episode. They should put more Jaejoong’s acting. However with much less scenes than the main characters,Jaejoong pulls through anf carries his character much, much better than others in the drama.Very very proud of him.Just like his singing carrier, given not much of the chances than others in the field,he demonstrates high sprit and courage and still making his way to fulfill fan’s demands and hapiness. He gives much more than he receives. That is why I love him to death.
“Just like his singing career, given not much of the chances than others in the field .. ”
You’re right!
