Dr. Jin – Kim Jaejoong’s bursting wail with bold acting ability makes viewers cry

Along with the episode [Kyung Tak’s father killed himself as his final choice during power struggle against Ha-Eung (Beom Su Lee’s character)], Jaejoong Kim’s crying performance was glorious. The actor who overcame people’s prejudice about idol singers’ lack of acting ability received rave reviews from viewers of this historical genre which is even not a modern play. Especially the performance was in his prime as the episode reached the climax, and his scene that cries over his [Kyung Tak’s] dead father was just so touching that you may call the scene as the best scene of the drama.

I was watching this episode’s live streaming and for the first time, I actually cried watching a Korean drama. I never cried watching autumn in my heart, winter sonata, stairway to heaven… But KIM JAEJOONG made me cry! His acting really improved! I’m so happy for him. Keeping my fingers crossed for a best new actor award this year.
This scene feels so real and sincere, truly like a son who is shocked and weeps himself out at his father’s sudden passing. I can’t stop my tears even when I rewatch the cuts. o(╥﹏╥)o Jaejoong is so great that I don’t know which words to use to compliment him any more. I can’t wait for Jackal Comes to see him transform into a different character!
he was so awesome in the arrow scene too. I’m glad they had the dad kill himself and didnt write KT to do it. It would have gone against his character to do it just for the story plot. I’m happy they got a fitting and emotional end, anything else would have been anti-climatic and a cop-out.
True that. Many people complain about why he still didn’t completely side with Young Hwi and say that he has daddy issue. But Kyung Tak genuinely loves his father because he was the one who took him in when his mother died and he got nothing left. It would look very bad if Takie aimed his sword at his father and harmed him. So yeah, this scenario is sad yet reasonable.
I really like how they write Kyung Tak’s story, it sounds so real, not fictional at all or the idealist or super hero approach. He’s strong as a warrior but too weak emotionally for his father, of course he grew up without a mother and outcasted by the society. Even if his father was using him but for him that’s an acceptance and recognition of his existence and strength. He won’t be used to that extent if he’s weak and incapable. They could have written an independent drama for Kyung Tak .

I’m not shocked that he is better than everyone else because his life experiences are fuller than most of us.he can relate any drama to his life so he acts real that touches viewers.Still I’m very proud of him since this is not his day job.

Thank you Dr. Jin Team for the extension, I feel you dedicate Ep. 21 to Kyung Tak’s character to give high acknowledgement to Jaejoong’s acting capability, anybody who watches this episode could never tell that KT is just a support character, he owns the whole night and leaves a deep mark to everybody’s heart and memory. Even now, thinking that father and son dramatic scene makes me teary, as if I know them personally.
I have not watch the full episode only the cuts. But that does not stop me from crying a river. Even thinking back of the scene can make me cry. That how KKT character left his mark to my heart. So genuinely showing his sorrow emotion. I am so proud of JAE. Wish he will win the best actor this year.
JAE..you certainly prove them wrong (haters). You are so AWESOME. Congratz and I love you more each day.

I hope Jae feels a little proud and satisfied with his hard work and the life he breathed into the character of Kim Kyung Tak! You’ve left us all teary-eyed.
The death scene of KKT’s dad was acted so naturally that anyone would think of Jaejoong as an honest to goodness professional actor- he owned the scene. Moving forward, I believe he can handle any role and please give this guy a truly dramatic leading role in the future for he deserve nothing less. BUT let him rest his weary body- we want him to have a long healthy life to entertain his ever growing global fans. Cheers! Hurray for the action drama King!

yes , rest .thats what he need right now . to be able to do his next project he needs to clear his kyung tak image which i bet he was still immersed with the character . live healthy and eat well. spend a vacation even if its only short . you need to recover and start anew
