When Kim Jae Joong isn’t being an idol star-actor extraordinaire, it appears another hobby keeps the JYJ member busy.
And it’s definitely not as badass as his bad boy persona.
TvN’s enews recently delved into the JYJ member’s hobby of—you guessed it—collecting high end cookware and home goods.
And while Kim Jae Joong’s interest in cooking and interior design may make him great husband material (among many other reasons), the hobbies come with a hefty price tag.
Among the expensive items that decorate his lush bachelor pad are a German cookware set with a price tag that ranges from about $400 to $700 and a Fritz Hansen coat tree that retails for approximately $1,190.
Talk about having expensive tastes, but it’s only the best for Kim Jae Joong!

LOL, if “Come on over” price was over US 300, that German cookware set doesn’t look so expensive. It seems JYJ fans, including me, have a very expensive hobby as well: JYJ music and goodies!!! I’ve spent more than US 1500 the last months only in their music and goodies. If I add the trip to Peru for the concert, well, it exceeds the US 4000…… OMGOSH!!! My pocket is “Empty”…… 😉

No baby, you’re misinformed. Mahalo’s price is US 88 plus shipping costs, in my case US 40. That means I payed US 128 for my Mahalo……. Oh dear! But JYJ worths it; oh yes they do 😀
Precisely that’s why “Come on over” price was over US 300; it’s price is US 298 plus shipping costs; way over US300 😦 But, as I said, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu worth that price and much more 😀

It’s not CJeS, the problem is JYJ can’t find companies to produce their goods. The companies that do agree, end up charging them more that the normal market fees. That is why they also sell out of JYJ products quickly. So, they are making less products (hence, no bulk/wholesale prices) + the extra fees and charges = higher fees.
due to copy right matters + commercial secret concern, cjes only source btw notable publishers within Korea ?
Understand finding a business with integrity is most important, then the quality. However, it is not difficult to counter source among BRICS, JYJ fans scattered across countries, why not local sourcing? Just my thought.

Jaejoong is the Uber Metrosexual of the World. He’s such a puzzle to me. When you watch him he never gives the slightest indiction that he is interested in any of the women around him and yet he talks regularly about A. how alone he is B. how he wants to find a woman, “his person” and C. that he thinks about what kind of woman he’ll marry a lot. ??? You know Jae, it’s going to be a little difficult to meet anyone nice if your eyes are lowered to the ground any time your in the presence of a woman. lol

But there was one time when they were still in Japan doing promotion as tohoshinki (around 2009), during an interview jae (and chun) seemed to be interested in the reporter who interviewed them. The lady is really pretty and looked mature and smart. I remember i felt quite jealous back then with the attention she received from them..lol

I still can’t get over the post that said that most males in Korea have to be “introduced” to a woman! Really? They can’t walk up to a woman and ask her for a date? A woman can’t ask a man for a date? If so, that seems to me that there are a lot of men and women waiting to be “introduced” in order to start dating. Is it considered too forward if they ask for dates without being introduced? So, JYJ members cannot ask for dates unless they are introduced? I am perplexed by this.

I think Jaejoong is very aware of not subjecting a woman he’s really interested in to the scrutiny of fans & the public, esp before he’s actually voiced his interest to the woman in question. Not to mention not wanting to publicly show his interest in a woman, only to find out that she is either already involved with someone, or not interested in him! For all that he shares so much of himself & his life with us fans, I get the impression, that for Jaejoong, romantic relationships are very personal & serious, & not something he’s willing to share with everyone else, as much to protect the feelings of jealous fans, as to protect the girl.

Jaejoong, with your cooking talent, consider opening a restaurant in L.A…It has largest Korean population on West Coast. I’m sure your restaurant would be a success (even if I have to eat all the dishes myself)! In fact, consider opening restaurants throughout Asia…think ahead, JJ…future business!
Jaejoong’s cooking abilities are one of the most sexy and attractive qualities I find in him; I want him to cook breakfast for me and to bring it to our bed in the morning, and after eating it, I want to eat………… him as my dessert 😛 😛

I really want the JYJ Premier Collection (mahalo) too. Its $113ish (with shipping) on kpoptown but yeah still expensive.
German cookware actually worth the price. The material is non-toxic, quite light weight, energy saving since shorter cooking time. Guess the px in Korea is relatively ” inexpensive ” .
Very durable, feel safe cooking for family and friends. ( healthier than non-sticky cookware and microwave oven, or high speedy IA cooker).
Got 2 of them from friends as Christmas gift, and i bought one during crazy big sale later 😛
Since when does Jaejoong have “bad boy persona”? He’s one of the nicest, most well-mannered and polite young men I’ve seen. Those things are long-term investment anyway. If he already paid a lot for the house, it wouldn’t make sense to use cheap furniture or decoration. But I agree, Kim Jaejoong deserves the best.
