[NEWS] 120829 JYJ’s Yoochun looks like a comic book character at his Shanghai fan meeting
Photos of JYJ‘s Yoochun at his latest Shanghai fan meeting have been revealed.
On August 28th, photos were posted on JYJ’s official Facebook page with the words, “Park Yoochun’s Asia Fan Meeting Tour Shanghai fan meeting has been completed. It has been said that a joyful day was spent thanks to the warm cheers from the Shanghai fans. Please anticipate the Shenzhen fan meeting too!”
Yoochun’s solo Shanghai fan meeting took place back on August 25th at the Mercedez Benz Arena.
In the photos, Yoochun flaunted his ‘manjjitnam’ charms with his bright smile. ‘Manjjitnam’ is a shortened term used to describe boys who appear to have been ripped right out of a comic book. In May, Yoochun topped an online ‘manjjitnam’ survey and his photos from the fan meeting confirmed his ‘manjjitnam’ status.
Netizens who saw the photos commented, “I feel as if my eyes have been cleansed” “I’m jealous of his Chinese fans” and “Total prince-like pose“.

Today, JYJ member Junsu attended the press conference for his World Tour at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton New York City-Times Square, 6th floor, Hudson Ballroom.
Asia’s star XIA Junsu announced the start of his world tour of North and South America.
Today, JYJ member Junsu attended the press conference for his World Tour at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton New York City-Times Square, 6th floor, Hudson Ballroom.
He appeared at the press conference at 10:30 AM wearing a blue suit with a happy attitude.
When asked if he knew that he would someday be performing solo, he replied, “I debated a lot about the direction my music was going. I am so happy that I am able to perform here.”
This is Junsu’s first time performing solo in New York. Junsu has just recently released his new english single album, Uncommitted. He will also reveal a song from his previous album, Tarantallegra, in english.
His New York concert will be held tomorrow evening, 8PM EDT, at Manhattan Center’s The Hammerstein Ballroom.

JYJ‘s Junsu (XIA) will be moving onto North America for his worldwide solo tour.
The following message was posted to JYJ’s official Facebook on August 28: “XIA’s 6-city Asia tour has ended in Hong Kong. Now, Junsu’s tour in North America will begin. Please look forward to the artist who doesn’t stop challenging himself, XIA’s world tour!”
The photo posted along with the message shows Junsu happily showing some aegyo for fans, who responded, “He’s officially a world star now,” “Junsu aegyo explosion,” and “He’s prettier than a girl.”
Junsu’s 100-day, 6-city tour in Asia finished in Hong Kong on August 26 KST. He’ll begin the North American leg of his solo tour in New York on August 30.

[NEWS] 120829 Who is the best ‘Acting-Idol’ selected by Drama Critics?
Kookmin Ilbo carried out a survey targeting 10 drama critics on Aug 29, asking who has the most impressive acting ability among Acting-Dols (=Idol+Actor, a newly-coined word in Korea to call idol singers who has acting career). The critics recommended the top and 2nd places each. 2 and 1 points were given for each recommendation.
#No.1 is Yuchun Park, Eun-Ji Jung named the next rising star
The top-vote getter(9 points) was Yuchun Park, a 26-year-old member of the trio group JYJ.
He had a debut in 2010 ‘SKK Scandal(KBS2)’ and established acting career in ‘Miss Ripely(MBC)’ and ‘Rooftop Prince(SBS)’. He also showed off his presence as an actor at 2012 Seoul Drama Awards after named on the top of People’s Choice, voted by 4 million people around the worlds.
Eun-Ji Jung of A-Pink earned 8 points with her debut-drama ‘Recall 1977’ and took the 2nd place.
Su-Ji (Miss A) and Eun Jung (T-ARA) followed on the 3rd together.
