[NEWS] 120831 JYJ’s Yoo Chun at the center of the global festival Seoul Drama Awards
The seventh Seoul Drama Awards was held on August 30 at 5:30 p.m. It was a global festival, in which many countries, including China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Columbia, Turkey, the UK, Germany, and the U.S., participated. Shin Hyun Jun, an actor who has a great sense of humor, and Han Go Eun, an actress who is good at speaking English, hosted the awards.
It was also a day JYJ’s Yoo Chun proved his high popularity again. Yoo Chun won Best Actor (in Hallyu Special) for his acting in the drama series Rooftop Prince. Best Actress (in Hallyu Special) and Best Drama Series (in Hallyu Special) were also given to the lead actress in Rooftop Princeand the series. Yoo Chun also won Most Popular Actor.
Best Drama Series (in serial/series) was given to the Korean drama series The Princess’ Man, and Best Soundtrack was given to the soundtrack of The King 2 Hearts, sung by SNSD’s Taeyeon.
In addition, the British drama series Sherlock 2 and the German drama series Home Video, which stars Jonas Nay, won many awards. The Chinese actor Nicky Wu won Most Popular Actor along with Yoo Chun, and the Taiwanese actress Zhang Zia Yu won Most Popular Actress.
The grand prize was given to Deep Rooted Tree, a historical drama series about the birth of Hangul.
The 2012 Seoul Drama Awards is sponsored by Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee and Korean Broadcasters Association. A total of 201 drama series from 45 countries were submitted this year, and 24 awards were given to actors, actresses, and short, medium-length, and full-length drama series.

JYJ Kim Junsu (XIA) who started his domestic activities as a solo singer went beyond an Asia tour and began to hold exclusive concerts in the US, South America and Europe. Before starting his World tour as a solo singer in New York on August 30, Kim Junsu held a press conference to meet with Korean and American reporters at a hotel located in Manhattan, New York on August 29 (local time).
Even though he immediately started his World tour after the Hong Kong finale concert on August 26 which concluded an Asia tour stopped by 6 countries including Korea, he showed up with confidence and no signs of fatigue at all. In his first solo activities, he has captivated domestic and overseas fans with his androgynous image, but he laughed and said “It is my intention and I am happy to hear that I look gay but I am not gay”.
Prior to the Asia tour, last May, he released his first solo album ‘Tarantallegra’ and for the World Tour, his first English single called ‘Uncommitted’ was put on sale.
The World Tour starts off in New York on August 30, goes on to LA on Sept 2, Mexico city on Sept 6, Sao Paolo – Brazil on Sept 8, Santiago – Chile on Sept 10, then it is planned to be continued in October in Europe countries like Paris – France etc. Next, here is the Q&A with solo singer Kim Junsu.

[NEWS + VIDEO] 120831 FIESTAR releases “Vista” MV (with special appearance by JYJ’s Junsu)
Loen Entertainment’s new girls group, FIESTAR, is making their official debut with the release of their single “Vista“!
The group has already become a familiar name after revealing themselves to the public with their song with IU, “Sea of Moonlight“, for Loen Tree‘s summer album project as well as through their collaborative efforts with Tiger JK for “Wicked”.
“Vista” is a hybrid dance track and is the work of composer KZ, TEXU, Taebongi, Kim Yi Na, and more.
JYJ‘s Junsu also makes a special appearance as the “superhero” of the FIESTAR girls who dream of becoming superstars.
FIESTAR will hold their debut stage through September 1st’s ‘Music Core‘, but meanwhile, check out the music video below!
[FAN ACCOUNT] 120831 Xia World Tour in NYC from *Angel*

I thought the word was very fitting to describe my and also my mom (@Jamaryka’s) first ever live XIA concert.
Where do I begin…
I went with my mom (@Jamaryka) & aunt (we gave her a ticket as an early bday gift ^_^) to NYC at around 430 to line up early in hopes of getting a good spot to see Junsu. And we were very lucky in that there were only about 50 ppl ahead of us when we got there.
3 hours pass by & we were finally able to go inside! Our backs & feet were already killing us & the concert hasnt even started. But we were sure that the pain would go away once we see our beloved Junsu.
We got in the venue & found ourselves only being 2 rows away from the stage! WHOOHOO! Good spots! Also a few people were complimenting me on my customized junsu shirt (which i am quite proud of ^_^ hehe) but anyways – I’ll skip to the good part – the concert was delayed about 30 min but we didn’t mind since we were just all excited to see Xia perform. 🙂
When he came out in that shiny blue pointy outfit, I couldn’t help but scream like crazy along with the crowd. I was not only in visual shock … but audio shock as well. What people have told me were true, he sounds FREAKIN AWESOME live!!! AND LOOKS AMAZING….. I CANNOT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE TO YOU WHAT I WAS FEELING THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS AT THAT CONCERT. JUST WOW…
It took me a good hour to realize that I was really there, watching & listening to Junsu perform, in the flesh! I kept thinking I was either dreaming or in some weird Youtube world where I can go through the computer & watch performances virtually LOL. I guess I never thought that the day would actually come that I would get to see him perform live since JYJ usually goes to LA if they were in the US. So I am really really thankful to our beloved Xia Junsu for coming to NYC to have a concert.
I looked at Mom @Jamaryka and couldn’t find her for a few sec cuz she moved back further but when i did spot her, I saw her with a smile on her face, swaying to the beat of the music 😀 !! haha I am so lucky to have such a cool mom. ^__^ She did her best to take as much pics as she can even though security told her to stop… LOL.
