JYJ’s Kim Junsu held a solo concert in Mexico on Thursday for the first time.
The 3,500 Mexican girl fans stood in front of the concert hall and started singing “Cielito Lindo.” This was a song to greet the first Korean singer to have a concert in Mexico, JYJ Kim Junsu.
When the lights turned off and the music video of “Tarantallegra” started playing, the fans held up their glow sticks and red balloons and sang along to the song. When Kim Junsu appeared in a ripped shirt and started singing his song “Breath,” the screams of the fans filled up the stadium. During the part of the concert when Junsu asked for 3 wishes from the audience members, two fans were taken to the emergency room after fainting.
Kim Junsu also sang songs from his musical “Elizabeth.” When he sang the ballad song “Leaf” to end the night, the fans started crying in sadness.
One fan who was interviewed said, “I hope Junsu was able to feel our love. Out of the desire to get closer to him, I eat Korean food and study Korean for 2 hours every day.”
Kim Junsu will continue his world tour through Brazil, Chile, and Europe.

I think he totally felt our love! So happy and blown away to have been at this amazing concert, even though I’m Yoochun biased, Junsu totally stole my heart and now I love him and admire him even more!!

My guess is that there is no end in sight for “Tour 2012 of the Xia Live Experience.” I think he will go as long as he possibly can to promote internationally.

Mama Kim said it was already hard to breathe for non-resident because they’re not used to thin air in high altitude ground, isn’t it? Maybe those who fainted were non-resident. Junsu is awesome to endure that condition and still could give best performance. Thumbs up, my baby!
I’m worried for YC’s asthma if JYJ had a concert in Mexico…
Well, if they have a concert in Mexico they should make it a point to stay in the city for a few days before the concert so they can get use to it while they rehearse. At least that’s what athletes that are not use to the altitude do when they have to perform/play in Mexico City. Anyway that would be a good thing because it would give them a little break from their busy schedules and Mexico City is huge so there must a lot to see. Well, that’s my hope anyway for them to stay just a little longer in Mexico..I swear I will not follow them (hand on my hand or holy object) because I want them to experience every place they visit as a normal tourist would, for me it is enough to know that they are in the same city.

most probably. Visitors without high altitude breathing training, is very dangerous there.
And must took medicine at least one week before vigorous activity in the region.
Junsu has poured out the utmost strength to keep JYJ reputation, so did the dancers.
For YC, who suffers asthma, possibly doctor will not encourage him to perform.

Mexican fans are really passinonate. Junsu must be very happy & enjoy that concert. I want to join them too. It’s seldom be seen this situation happen in Asian concert. In fact, I am quite curious about the reaction of Junsu when a bra was thrown on the stage, ha ~ ha ~!

Wellllll…. the boys have gown up. Believe me, it happens to Tom Jones in Las Vegas at every show he does, and the guy’s a fossil at this point. lol I had to laugh at the Fiestar interview I read today where they were all saying Junsu senior this and senior Junsu that. OK, OK, the guy’s a senior! In this country anyway, that means he’s old enough to shag a few flies that turn out to be bras when he performs. Life is short, Junsu! Go for all the gusto you can!

A tour to prove to the world, Xia ‘s Stage Performance is uniquely gorgeous.

with Xia Junsu on your big day , he surely helps make your event more successful & unforgettable.

And for Junsu’s benefit, these types of high end performance, income can be better than a solo concert.

I so agree with your post — every word of it. I had occasion to be good friends (and sing with) with Huey Lewis, of Huey Lewis & The News. After a fine career of sold out touring and hit albums came to an end in the 90’s be became a regular doing “corporate” events, routinely pulling in a million dollars per gig from the huge corporations who were clamoring for him.
Nice work if you can get it. If JYJ can ever be free of the onus of SM’s blocking, I see a nice career for them ala Huey somewhere down the road. But let’s not go there quite yet! These young men are still in their middle twenties! They haven’t even scratched the surface of their creativity and what they will show the world in terms of their talent.

Appreciate so much for your comment. Great artists Huey Lewis extended the fame in other way, and with decent remuneration for the unique performance. Sometimes, corporate clients are more demanding.
Huey Lewis being listed the most wanted performer, is a higher recognition than ever. So happy to have the news lilibaiyu.
And agree, JYJ are just at middle twenties, still got a long road to go, hardship in these years perhaps help polish the best within them. Extra side income can keep this 3 ” stubborn” young men at least survive in the entertainment industry, while doing all the trials & errors in music creation.
One day, i took a look on JYJ’s revenue and expense since 2009 , especially on Junsu’s solo part,
( which investment on MV, overseas producers, tours so huge….. ) , and all significant variable costs imposed on them….a strong signal for them to accept some decent offer at year end functions, at least outside power can’t intervene.
***quite many unnamed Asian artists , they already accepted offers at many year end & New year functions in overseas markets.( Mainly perform for Asian, eg Chinese, Korean etc ). Silently their total earnings are always more than famous celebrities, that is interesting.
but in the 3500 fans, there were fanboys too!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw them!!!!!!!!!
