JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong is heading out to meet with his fans in Asia.
On September 20, C-Jes Entertainment announced that JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong would embark on an Asia fan meeting tour.
The singer/actor will kick his tour off on October 21 in Nanjing, China before moving on to Bangkok on October 23 and Indonesia’s Jakarta on November 3. With the singer having previously sold out his fan meeting tours in places like Shanghai last year, many are anticipating the upcoming fan meets will do the same.
Kim Jae Joong shared, “As it is my first time meeting fans in a long while, I’m already in anticipation for it. I’m happy as I believe [the fan meetings] will be a place where we can see how each other has been doing and where I can share stories from my dramas and movies.”
The singer enjoys immense popularity abroad and was recently voted as the most influential K-Pop star for the first half of 2012 in an online survey.
At the press conference for his recent MBC drama, Time Slip Dr. Jin fans from some 31 different countries around the world including as far away as Belgium, Ecuador and more sent congratulatory rice wreaths.
Kim Jae Joong is currently working on post-production shoots for his upcoming November movie, The Jackal is Coming.
