JYJ’s Kim Junsu participated in ‘Elisabeth’ Musical Special OST, released only 3 days, had already gotten First in the Yearly Hanteo Chart.
According to Hanteo Chart, accumulating the sales numbers of Korean Musical Ost from January to recently, ‘Elisabeth’ OST had sold a total of 9100 albums gotten first within 3 days, broke a new record. This shows a huge influence of Kim Junsu.
‘Elisabeth’ Special OST had received alot of attention because it was Junsu’s first time participation. Included ‘Elisabeth’ Live recording, unseen cuts of Junsu’s interview, photos etc & was receiving ethusiastic attention from fans before releasing.
Associated personnel said ” It is very surprised to see the results of the ost getting first just within 3 days released. It wasn’t just weekly or monthly, it was yearly chart. This is the result that only Junsu able to create.”
Continued ” While Junsu’s musical talent was recognised, at the same time, the tickets of his musical always sold out! Hence, that’s why ‘Elisabeth’ special OST was able to attract attention too”
In addition, Junsu had recently finished his South America tour and now is preparing for his last stop tour in Europe.

Well, seeing this record, i hope from now on every musical agency Junsu work with will be clever enough to always include Junsu in their ost release.
I’ve just received my copy! I’m surprised it came with an unfoldrd poster. The product is much bigger than I expected and very lavishly made, even more so than Levay with Friends dvd. Guess i’ll be spending my weekend enjoying this 🙂

First I thought “EHHHH TOPPED YEARLY CHART ONLY AFTER 3 DAYS?!” then I read that the OST sold only 9.1k copies on the first day, so it was probably 20k more or less after 3 days, right? So then I thought “Wow, they weren’t joking when they said the musical industry in Korea needed reviving!” lol
And who better to revive it than KIM JUNSU himself? 🙂 So proud of you, Junsu! Congratulations on topping the yearly chart!
