In his interview with KpopStarz JYJ Jaejoong reveals the secrets to his happiness
It is not often that we find ourselves actually being or doing what we have dreamed about as children. Like everyone of us, Kim Jaejoong didn’t really start out wanting to sing. In KpopStarz’ recent interview with the actor and singer, Jaejoong of JYJ revealed, “My childhood dream was to become the owner of a supermarket. I also wanted to become a hair designer.” Who would’ve thought?
However, we see him these days being successful in the path that he has chosen to take. Perhaps this is because of not having many expectations. He admitted “I didn’t expect to receive this much love from fans in the world. I am really thankful to have met JYJ members. I am very happy to do music that we love.”
It’s both touching and ironic to hear him speak this way, especially with the difficult path JYJ had to take as of late. To find something rewarding, to find happiness would’ve been a tall order from someone in his situation, but still he sees the glass as half-full, with his optimism.
Kim Jaejoong cherishes the path he is on, finding that making music, specifically being a singer makes him feel the highest form of happiness possible, he shared, “There are no words needed. I am happy with everything. I am happy that, as a singer, I can do the music I want to do. I am very happy to perform on stage; sharing moments with members who have the same heart.”
Many times in the interview Jaejoong revealed the people that matter to him the most – his JYJ members and the fans who support them. Seeing these, his most prized possessions, is reason enough to understand his heart and see where that happiness comes from.

He sounds content with his life now, sing whatever music he desires and being with his beloved JYJ members and able to do different things, whatever he *again* desires,life is good ,right JJ!! Seeing you’re happy, I’m even happier.

when these guys are happy, it makes me so happy too. i am happy having their music and their good influences in my life. they are doing something i love and always wanted to do:making music, but chose another path myself. seeing them so happy and making beautiful music just makes my life fuller doing what i chose to do, kind of like having both worlds but thru their music.
I love Kim Jaejoong, the singer, the most as well. He may not be a better dancer out there, but he’s passionate and gives his all on stage. The way he pours his soul and emotions into ballad songs is enchanting. And then we have all the songs that he composes or writes lyrics for. That’s why his own fans are kinda desperate in wanting him to have a solo album. We miss his voice. Anyway, singing or acting, as long as Jaejoong is happy with what he’s doing, then it’s all that matters. 🙂
Reading all his interviews lately, I’m having this feeling that we won’t be having Kim Jaejoong solo album any time soon. With the difficult path JYJ have to take and will still be facing, he has to maintain members visibility and increase public awareness about JYJ through dramas and movies since they can’t go through music shows and normal promotion. They should have enough capital, both financial and number of fans who’ll be waiting for their comeback to counterbalance the handicap brought about by being banned. And when talking about music, he always mentions “members” , “we” , JYJ ….. , Jae, hope one day you’ll feel comfortable setting aside some of your compositions and say “these are for me” .

yes, i do not see a Jae solo album coming, with way things are now and what’s been said. He somehow feels it can wait. We can expect though another or a JYJ 2nd album . As Junsu have said in his interview, songs for the album has long been prepared and is awaiting production/release. So in the coming year, 2013 is a JYJ year. Hope we get to see them together on stage sis Krissy, 🙂
He dreamed to be a singer from the age of 13-14. He started to practice in a karaoke room everyday after school time and even found a Rock band
Before that, he wanted to be a supermarket owner just to have as many biscuits as he wanted. It’s just a childhood’s dream, not his dream of the whole life.

JJ is a good leader..he always think abt other members as well before he give any comments….JYJ worked as team and always be there for each other.
im so touch when he mentioned these in 1 of his interviews :
– my hapiness is when i was at stage together with micky & junsu….
– there was one time when im lonely/sad i tried to call micky but he didnt picked the phone..i tried so many times and i get worried…so i called ricky asking if micky is ok….
– i just wish micky & junsu could come together here (during filming the come on over)

JJ’s statements are so touching and true from his heart. But everytime in interviews, JJ will mentioned Yuchun n Junsu and same with them about one another. So nice to see the close bond and brotherly love among the 3 of them. No one can break their ties and they are like 3 in 1 in whatever they do even individual activity, they will remember their members as the strength n force in whatever they do.

Said was easier than action. Do you know Chunnie never walks alone without his guards when he is out of country? No one can go near him, many were rejected – no autographs, handshake or hug. He has this fear of saesang fans that may come anyway to attack him. Like that stupid case, he was slapped so hard and he was in shocked. But I’m happy to know my gifts/cards received by him in the hotel room. Satisfied. 🙂
u were right sis… pity him coz of that horrible incident makes him more cautious esp when he is in public… he need to do that and he should never walk alone…just dont understand with this saesang fans…why cant they leave him alone?

Not only are their love and bond stronger but JYJers’ bonds and attachments to them and each other are stronger too…
I worry too if I come to JYJ Republic and none of you and other JYJers are here…..and it breaks my heart to see I’m the only one getting all the limelight….LOL!!!!!!

@didi….though we are frm diff countries, background but when it comes to jyj, we are united as one…we give our love, support and even fight with them…..
