Another month is drawing to a close, which means it’s time to announce a K-Pop Star of the Month!
All throughout October, we have been keeping a running tally of your Tweets and Likes for September’s weekly K-Pop Battle winners, and we’re ready to crown September’s K-Pop Star.
Every week, two K-Pop stars battle it out on our K-Pop page, and your votes decide who moves on to fight it out for the title of K-Pop Star of the Month.
Whoever earns the most number of combined Tweets and Likes from our readers in that month’s voting period is declared the winner, and the K-Pop Star who takes home the title for the month of September is none other than JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong!
Kim Jae Joong was up against some stiff competition, including fellow JYJ member Kim Junsu, but the singer and actor ultimately came out on top.
Big Bang’s G-Dragon followed behind with the second highest number of total Tweets and Likes, while Kim Junsu and 2PM’s Junho placed third and fourth, respectively.

On 23rd-30th of October, the community portal site ‘DCInside’ have started a poll <Bestfriend in the entertainment industry that will still be meeting each other even if they grow old> in which the famous best friend in the industry, JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and singer Kim HyunJoong have been voted by netizens as the 1st place.
Kim Jaejoong and Kim HyunJoong who have once lived together for a certain period previously, took the first place with 531 votes out of 2503 votes (21.2%) in the poll. The two best friends who have developed their friendship since their debut revealed in broadcast (MBC’s K-pop Star Documentary) that when they were facing hardships, they often write letters of encouragement to each other, which then received a lot of envy for their friendships from the netizens.

[NEWS] 121031 JYJ Kim Junsu Fans Donate 200kg of Rice at The Korea Musical Awards
Kim Junsu fans stepped up once more to show their love for the talented star.
On October 29 at the Korea Musical Awards, in which Kim Junsu went home with the best actor award, the hallways of the Olympic Hall was seen filled with various congratulatory rice wreaths from fans all over the world.
The rice wreaths came from fans from Japan, China, southeast Asia and all around the world with encouraging messages. In all, some 200kg of rice were collected for charity in Kim Junsu’s name which were seen stacked along with various bouquets of flowers.
Kim Junsu fans previously collected and donated 790kg of rice for the premiere of Kim Junsu’s musical Mozart while the premiere of his musical Elisabeth brought in a whopping 2.68 tons of rice.
