JYJ′s Park Yoo Chun stepped out among demands for Jang Mi In Ae′s exit from MBC′s I Miss You, and asked them to stop.
The singer-turned-actor attended the press conference for I Miss You held on November 1 with fellow actors Yun Eun Hye, Yoo Seung Ho and Jang Mi In Ae.
About the recent movements demanding Jang Mi In Ae leave I Miss You, Park Yoo Chun said, “I can see it as a form of support for me, and I′m thankful, but I honestly believe that it′s making a small problem even worse. I′m a junior in acting, but I′ve been put in an awkward situation.”
He added, “I′m her colleague, so I want to make the piece a good one and I want to make a good start, so I′m sorry toward Jang Mi In Ae. I hope everyone concentrates more on the other things. I′m sorry to say so, but because we′re all family now and we need to lead a piece together, I want to make this work in a better way. I hope everyone refrains from continuing on.”
Jang Mi In Ae said, “I′m thankful that a lot of people around me cared for me so much. Even today the staff presented me with flowers and chocolates. I just think I should work hard now.”
A group of netizens demanded she leave the drama after digging out controversial pictorials and risque scenes she had starred in, and also for suspicions that she had merely joined the drama due to her being in C-JeS Entertainment, Park Yoo Chun′s agency.
I Miss You will air its first episode as scheduled on November 7.

IMO, I think the only one that should speak on that is the person most affected by it. Say PYC does speak against it, then all the crazies go after him bc those crazies tend to only be “fans” of two particular people.

yes i agree with PYC. just focus on her acting. actually i don’t care with any bad things or controversial about her. i only care about her acting. if she’s a good actress, then it’s fine. the important is the story of the drama and how the actors act well.

Fans asking her to exit are completely nonsensical. Song jihyo appeared in multiple nude scenes in Frozen Flower but still starred with jaejoong in Jackal. Plus why do fans think they have a say in who gets to star in a drama with yoochun? If you dont like the cast then boycott it, dont watch it and dont cause a scene. They’re angry that yoochun has to work with somebody who has appeared in risque scenes, but she is still an actress in all senses of the word and it just puts yc in a bad light. It will ony embarrass him and other PDs will think twice about casting HIM instead of his co-stars in future. They know fans can be scary so dont make them doubt their faith in YC’s acting potential please, you’ll only make matters worse by being persistent and ridiculous.

They apparently are making quite a ruckus and PYC had to say something about it bc MBC already released a statement that some of PYC’s fans were causing trouble about the casting. I don’t think he personally wanted to bring any attention to what some silly misguided fans are doing. My only issue is that she looks significantly older then the rest of the cast, it makes believability difficult bc age is huge deal in Korean society. But we won’t know until the drama starts, Koreans are excellent at portraying a younger feeling.

Yoochun, class personified. I’m still trying to figure out what business is it of any fan to demand who a production company casts for a role. As mentioned above…some of these folks need to get a life.
some of his “fans” are stupid. why are they protesting a 2nd lead when I’ve seen more people have questions about the lead lady. no one cares about the second lead. Its only in situations where their are questions about the leads are there such a focus on the seconds. like jae being pushed out front for dr.jin. people were not satisfied with pmy and the dr. so focus and interest shifted to jae. But with jae he had to overcome the lead actors performance and work hard to shine. Dont they realize that they are setting up really low expectations for her even before seeing her acting. People are now going to be watching her to see how she acts also. If she ends up being a better actor than the lead actress, this could cause problems for yoochun. They tend to judge story lines and couples together. She will be playing yoochuns sister who falls for the second lead. Dont create a situation where the general public likes the 2nd lead story better because the first leading lady is lacking. with this some people might say the judging before seeing her work was unfair. If both leading ladies do okay they are going to give the edge to the 2nd lead for the unfairness of the accusations. Sometimes I wish “fans” would think, this isn’t involving music or something related to him. this is a show and before anyone can even think to question the drama his fans are doing it for them. If they had waited and if she is truly bad then the general public would have overlooked it and continued with the drama. Because again no one cares about the second leads when judging a drama unless the storyline of the first leads have problems.
I think you’re confused. Mi In Ae is not cast as the younger sister, she is the clumsy cartoon artist who is in love with PYC’s character.
I think they would perhaps prefer an all male cast, just in case one of these ladies tricks Yoochun into falling in love with her.

ugh, i’m still annoyed with how things worked here, either with those people or another. whatever happened behind i hope it doesn’t affect yoochun’s career in the future. this drama really started out late, for whatever problem they have. i think demanding jmia to be dropped is going too far and making things more ridiculous. jmia can gain support through her acting later, so let’s just sit back and watch.
