According to the agreement, attention is now on whether JYJ can now freely appear in broadcasting activities since they haven’t appeared in entertainment programs during the legal dispute. JYJ’s Junsu was not able to appear in Music Bank last May because KBS declared that “if we let a celebrity involved in a legal dispute appear in our show, it can have an impact on the ongoing trial.”
However, with this agreement, the justification that the broadcasters had put forward has now disappeared. The 3 broadcasting stations issued a cautious stance on the matter stating that “an internal discussion” needs to happen.
JYJ doesn’t have any high hopes in freely appearing in broadcasts soon. C-JES representative Baek ChangJu stated “JYJ will pursue their activities as planned. We hope that some of the unfair treatment/practices in the entertainment industry can be improved with this agreement.”

I’ll say this again, WHAT THE H*CK? This is ridiculous.. I’m so sad. But I’m also happy because JYJ shined through for the last 4 years without Live TV appearances. Let’s keep praying for JyJ’s success! Fighting!! ♡
For me, this will be “the proof of the pudding” – whether JYJ can have free and equal access to broadcast opportunities. Their audience is there and waiting, and it’s a BIG audience. I sincerely hope that the broadcasters will make the right decision, the one we’ve all been waiting for.
I’m gonna wait n see what happen next. Still hope for the best coz JYJ deserve it …. Happy JYJIndependenceDay
Don’t Wait any longer
JYJ are about to go to military service
instead say not going to wait, come on everyone
COME ON Stop accepting the ideology of Stalling Time, for the past 3 years it was this kind of thinking
i will wait for,
next thing you know it another 3 years.
i am not waiting , fuck this wait. Nooooooo IT DOES NOT NEED TIME , DO NOT SLEEP FANDOM
Lets REPLY to those Brodcast Stations,
write something like : Brodcast JYJ on your music and entertainment shows.
its okay the message is in english , let them see you abroad/i-fans, you should mention the country your from too, be Civil and Strong.
KBS World Twitter:
https://twitter.com/KBSWorldTV
MBC Twitter :
https://twitter.com/withMBC
SBSTwitter:
https://twitter.com/SBSNOW
Flock them with demands requests act instead of wait, act people act, act , act.
how do they broadcast JYJ is no one asks them to ?
Just be civil and strong.
JYJ are 3 but JYJ fandom i read this site has over 20 million viewers right ? lets unite and flock KBS MBC SBS with 20 Million requests, lets show them ,
how many people watching this, act, use the links, ask those stations for JYJ’s broadcast on Music shows and Entertainment shows.
come on, are you in or out,
act act act instead of wait , act ,act , act don’t wait .
although it needs some time, i still hope there’s a miracle for our JYJ, and i will wait it 🙂
that’s how i keep the faith to JYJ 😉
how long will you wait before you express your rejection,
instead of say not going to wait ,
a month ? 12 ?
speak up, tell those stations you are not waiting , don’t we have Twitter ? go flock those stations with demands to see JYJ appear on Music shows. they are singers for crying out loud, SINGERS
while all them k-pop singers every year, are introduced to millions of new viewers every year, expanding thief fandom every year, growing larger and larger thanks to TV.
SME is so lucky to have JYJ fans waiting for another year and another and another, no contacting organisations to investigate singers banned in their own country. no universal press criticism of illogical ban,
To KBS, SBS and MBC, SME was also in legal dispute with JYJ, why didn’t you ban SME from the music scene broadcast as well ? according to your logic in banning JYJ .
now they dare say ” going to take time ” and hypnotize fans to sleep again and “wait longer”
we all have been waiting longer and see where it took us. JYJ LOSING their profits earnings , SME just took all that money not paying AND JYJ still Banned from broadcast.
start writing letters to the press, start searching for names of American and European Organisations who are concerned with banned singers in their country, tell the Universal Press, tell CNN BBC tell ABC SBC , tell Henderson Cooper TELL OPRAH. let them see the illogical logic , and tyranny of this un-just ban.
this is outrageous.
You are absolutely correct…What was the logic or absurd reasoning these SK broadcast companies declared as to letting SM into their networks while in legal dispute with JYJ?!?!? Is it because JYJ brought in the dispute in the first place but they won that right away. It was SM who sued JYJ for compensation (for crap SM spent on them) then JYJ countersued then and won the injunction again but that was not enough for these companies.
I shudder at the thought that our boys will be going to the military soon (JJ will be 28 soon thus he has 2 more years)…Ahhhhh!!!!
Rise up everyone!!!
@lovejyj
“It was SM who sued JYJ for compensation (for crap SM spent on them) then JYJ countersued then and won the injunction again but that was not enough for these companies.”
Honestly and truly — it’s because it was not ABOUT the legal dispute. That was merely a vaguely plausible excuse. What it was really about was SM putting the fear of God into these people that if JYJ prevailed, the Gravy Train was OVER. No more big envelopes of money, no more instant access to any act the broadcasters desired. (Including after-hours “hospitality,”) The top execs, who were running the shows and making the decisions LIKED the status quo. It was probably educating all of their children and buying their wives fur coats.
THAT’s what it was about.
@Anonymous
“To KBS, SBS and MBC, SME was also in legal dispute with JYJ, why didn’t you ban SME from the music scene broadcast as well ? according to your logic in banning JYJ .”
I’m just guessing now but my considered opinion is that SM was considered de facto the more worthy of the two because they were “The Company” and JYJ were merely young employees of the company. It’s that danged old Confucian ethic thing, rearing its ugly and quite irrelevant in 2012 head. The Lord, the Father, is always right. You can’t object, you can’t “talk back” without being seen as instantly in the wrong and even worse, Unfilial. My guess is that a lot of SM apologists are currently living with just exactly these sorts of strictures in their own lives with their own families right now and so they are DAMNED if JYJ is going to get a free pass out of the misery THEY currently live with.
Also, I maintain and I have some documentation from 10 years ago to back it up, that the TV execs were accepting bribes aka payola, to do the bidding of the big entertainment companies like SM. Much was made of this scandal 10 years ago and then….. nothing came of it. Nothing happened. No one was convicted. So how likely are companies like SM, who were heavily implicated in the scandal then, to have changed their ways in what was obviously a winning formula?
And here that formula is: sign kids to 13 year contracts (once they debut) where they get no royalties. Never show them an accounting statement in those 13 years. Merely tell them that they didn’t make enough in the last 6 months to get any bonuses. Then, with all of that ill-gotten gains, earmark some of it to go to the top execs at the music shows and TV outlets to assure that their groups always win, that they are always given a spot, that they are always near the top of the charts. It’s perfect!
And then JYJ comes along and upsets the whole thing!
@lilibaiyu
True words. You said exactly what I wanted to say but was unable to because of my limited English. Thank you for helping me out. 😀
ooppss sorry i’f i’ve made you upset dear
that doesn’t mean i will wait silently, of course with writing letters, twitter petition, etc etc for JYJ 😉
just give me running man with jaejoong become the guest,
gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the mutual agreement, these companies cannot just throw that lawsuit excuse to reject our boys..but i agree that the fight is not over. Like what the other post says that this is more of David VS Goliath. The boy who took great courage to uphold his faith VS an insulting mean giant. In the end, David brought about an unexpected victory.
Our boys are doing great without the broadcasts, they manouvered through the road blocks. As much as I hope SME will make good of their word not to interfere with JYJ activities(but i don’t hope too much from them), i know JYJ will have the complete victory in the end. If these stations listen to the giant, they will eventually lose out because so many ppl all over the world wants JYJ. If they listen to the people and broadcast JYJ on their shows, they will gain much more because the ratings will shoot up.
In the end, JYJ has won the battle even with or without broadcasts because they have proven us that they can do it without broadcast. We have complete faith in you. Continue doing the activities you have planned to do. We will be waiting for more good things to come! 🙂
@chunst
I’m wondering if the TV networks have a stake in protecting the status quo of the big entertainment companies. It’s an open secret that the top execs at these networks get large and continuing bribes to do the bidding of companies like SM. Maybe those execs don’t want to see that gravy train end?
@lilibaiyu,
I agree with you that this might most probably be what is happening in the TV networks. Corrupt execs like this are disgusting but they exist, everywhere.
I do believe though that this evil bribing & under-table transactions will not be under covers forever. We don’t know when.. it might be months, a few years. I sincerely wish that the time will be soon. Regardless, I have full confidence that JYJ will continue to thrive 🙂
@chunst
Just for the record, here’s the article, from Time Magazine no less, from 10 years ago. Many of us have seen it; if you haven’t please take the time and read it. It’s sobering. They had all the evidence they needed 10 YEARS AGO. And nothing was done.

Only massive new agitation by the fans and the people of SK can shake things up again. Let’s all be pro-active. We in America know what can be done when citizens stand up and say “No More.” It can happen. Let’s make it happen.
@lilibaiyu,
Thanks for the article! I’m willing to do what it is within my means to shorten the “wait” for them to be able to perform freely on TV. Hoping that the SK fans can be extension of our mouths, hands and legs to speak up and make it happen since they are in the homefront. JYJ & JYJ fans can do it! 🙂
@chunst
“Hoping that the SK fans can be extension of our mouths, hands and legs to speak up and make it happen since they are in the homefront. JYJ & JYJ fans can do it!”
Yes. This is what we are all hoping for. That the SK fans will step up. This is what is needed now. Massive feedback to the TV stations that we MUST have JYJ back on TV shows!
Thanks for that Time article…thank goodness JYJ was strong enough to prevail and (to borrow from Det. Han JungWoo) endure.
I am betting they will be on SK broadcast (maybe JJ to begin with or YC with MBC) within a month.
i am so mad today, and this bullshit doesn’t help. since the freaking beginning of 2009 debacle, they treated these men like they did something wrong. THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING WRONG. this continued attitude towards the boys, creates a perception in the country and in the industry that the boys are at fault. why the fuk is this industry so set on punishing the victim? even in yesterday’s articles ( i don’t know if it’s translation or what), but the overall feel was: oh, we dropped the trial, so we don’t continue bringing damages to the two. what did the two ever suffered in the past 3 years? everything was set in front of them they had no barrier what so ever, they took everything and took advantages of everything that everyone worked to create. jyj had to start from 0 w/ no support from the industry. i’m so sick, so sick of this. this is going to continue endlessly because the entire industry culture is worse than the mob; it is actually a mob – with no code of honor, but still a mob.
what the freak? today i don’t care if lee so man is a saint for me he is the worst of the worst, and he is behind everything that happened to jyj: he is the majority stock holder, he has the biggest invested interest in this company. send the mofo where he belongs.
These people have absolutely no justification for any of the comments they are making. The message they are sending is that they can trample on anyone regardless if it is deserved or not, which it isn’t. It’s no wonder their national image is taking a hit internationally.
Well keep it up guys. You have only seen the tip of the iceberg.
@BAF
JYJ has gone and upset the cozy little applecart the music companies and the media have enjoyed for the last 10 years. The top management in both were going to the BANK either by exploiting their talent of by receiving bribes. JYJ has gone and considerably altered that, at least as far as the the entertainment companies’ ability to get kids to sign ruinous contracts. So what has just happened is a BIG DEAL to those top guys who were making all of that money. SM is instantly in trouble financially. Are the execs going to want to give up those fat envelopes of cash? I guess if we put enough pressure on them they may have to, to avoid further scandal. So let’s get ready to push and push HARD!
Korean fans: I know you want JYJ on TV the most, by far. Well, you’re there, on the ground. And you speak the language. You’re going to have to step up now and do some legwork as far as writing letters and sending tweets.
Stand Up For JYJ!
I know it all takes time … but we will always wait for you to appear on all television program, like running man or other reality show …
JYJ fighting!!!!!!!
Now lets see SK broadcasting stations…
We fans already knows how corrupt you are and how lowly you bullied these 3 guys (JYJ) but
are you ready to show how corrupt your broadcating systems to other people and the rest of the world
specially now that the case has been withdrawn…(smirking)
@vonz
I hope to GOD they know how many of us worldwide are watching them. My friends and JYJ3 ladies who have Twitter: care to take a moment and tweet any networks and TV shows that “We are watching what you will do now. Do right by JYJ!” or something of the sort?
I think we’ve waited long enuf..k-fans..plz do something..
that’s the right way to think,
that’s the spirit.
That what I thought before , nothing will change with this BS system in Korea but i still hoped maybe …like the boys , have to loose all the payments, money, things they had to work bleeds blood for7yrears , they still want to take the change to get to treatment like other normal artics on stage , and now disappoint again, ..
I agree with some comment, can’t wait any more, time not help them at all , and never ever can’t trust the agreement from suck bloodee SM. I wish I can do something !
SK govt, you gotta need to issue new TV stations license.
And JYJ, can go on radio stations / online TV stations first ?
Actually traditional TV are facing tough challenges from online TV.
45% viewers now move to online streaming.
And new generation mostly watch by mobile devices.
Sooner or later these 3 traditional stations will be in trouble.
@aurora
“Sooner or later these 3 traditional stations will be in trouble.”
Let’s hope.

in a way it was kind of a blessing in disguise because don’t we all love underdogs? the more those evil people keep persecuting jyj the more people become their fans. and it also makes jyj work harder than ever. those other idols would not be able to say they shone without publicity, only the power and greatness of jyj can achieve being amazing despite not being priviledged like the rest.
but i do know that it’s sad that they’re still not getting the justice they deserve…and that’s why i feel like as their fans we must also work harder. we cant do anything about the legal aspect of things and about evil people but we can support jyj with fierceness.
im really happy that there are so many of us that love those 3 beautiful human beings and i really consider jyj fans as my jyj family. let’s stand by our 3 boys always and forever. ❤
@isa
Loved your comment.
🙂
Guys, put my blind trust on the agreement, I pretty much believe, JYJ will appear on broadcast. Because, what is the use of the mutual agreement if jyj and lawyers do not use it to secure their issues?? They sure have bargaining power too, even above the air, because we, common people, have no doubt that the court was in favor of JYJ.
Let me predict something, in a day or two, those representatives from broadcast corporations will reveal statements, “With the end of the legal dispute, this time is an opportunity for us to confirm the matured person JYJ have become and to recognize that they courageously made a hard decision to let go the issues, and also because the high and mighty SM entertainment and the holy saint KFPCAI have told us that they will let JYJ appear on broadcast, we will obey the order”
*okey, I’m exaggerating some phrases here*
But then again, we have learned that arbitration (mutual agreement) in conflict resolution means just an agreement. Simply based on trust. There is no guaranty if one or both parties will or won’t fulfill what’s written on the agreement. Moreover, there is no way to put penalty to the side that do not fulfill the agreement, a new battle/trial in court should be started all over again instead. The question is, can we trust SM??? Only God knows their real intentions…
Curious, what kind of another silly excuse the whole SK entertainment is going to make up again???
@ai uta
“Curious, what kind of another silly excuse the whole SK entertainment is going to make up again???”
Well, they certainly have time to come up with one because JYJ has not released new product in the last 9 months so there’s no press to have a showdown at the moment. True, Junsu could go on various music shows right now and Jaejoong could appear on “Running Man” but that’s not really the issue, is it? The issue is JYJ. Until they release new product, this whole question of “Will they, Won’t they?” in regards to the broadcast media is moot.
i’ve read your comments, so what shall we do for our men?
what KBS, MBC and SBS means with “an internal discussion” was “let we ask SM first if it is really okay to let JYJ appear in our stations” *roll eyes*
Deepest in my heart~
I’m so freakin’ fed up and pissed with this injustice! OH GOD!!!
Feel like wanna help JYJ~ hoaah >.<.. huwaaa~ *skip )
because I belive it's gonna be a big step to open their better ways~
Wish this injustice will end soon~
Oh.. not just wishing..
Maybe we should do something to make this injustice ended sooner!!!
PEOPLE WE , FANS NEED TO ACT .. WE NEED TO WORK TOWARDS WHAT WE WANT NOT JUST TALK ABOUT IT .. AS ONE FORCE UNITED LETS SPAM THE HELL OUT OF ALL THE TV STATIONS TO ALLOW JYJ TO GUEST ON THEIR SHOWS .. OFF COURSE IN A VERY RESPECTFUL MANNER .. JYJ3 PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO TELL US HOW

its either they trying to think of a way to milk this for all its worth or think of a new excuse to keep them ban……
