Following in the footsteps of fellow JYJ member XIA Junsu, Kim Jaejoong takes on his solo debut with a next-level image and some serious vocal chops. And with his sold-out concerts and chart-topping album sales, Jaejoong’s bold attempt to pursue rock seems to have been just the right move. We caught up with Jaejoong to talk about his new album, upcoming plans for JYJ, and his thoughts on being voted MTV K’s Sexiest Male Idol…

OMG!!! Yoochun his solo album!!!!! OMG OMG OMG yes world tour.. and JYJ album. Love love love Jae’s voice.
I can imagine Yoochun’s album as like sexy R & B style (like R Kelly, Chris Brown, NeYo)…Not my favorite style but will support anything JYJ :)…Pretty please on a World Tour! Saving now for tickets, gas/plane, hotel, food…whatever else!

I LOVE NeYo! That would be so awesome to dance to. To add more of a mix… as Jaejoong mentioned in an interview— rather than dance songs, YC love songs with emotion like JJ’s One Kiss. In YC’s fanmeetings, he kept singing Miss Ripley’s OST. My immediate thought was music by David Tao would be a perfect fit; he is also a little husky voice and sings with full emotion just like our YC. The range in music would be perfect for him. Though it may be too soothing.

Ah, I liked the questioned they asked! ^^ And JJ’s answers too, of course… I liked how he said MINE was his story – although we already knew t, it was just nice and sort of saddening to hear him say that.
LOL! JJ’s reaction to him being voted the sexiest male idol! Who? Kim Jaejoong? XDDD You’re gonna work hard to keep that image, huh? Is this why you asked if you should gain weight? I hope not, cuz I want you to be happy with the way you are and the way you want to be, and not just do what others want of you… >> But JJ, dearest, if you actually try to be sexy, you might kill us a thousand times over….><

I love seeing Jaejoong being interviewed and he doing it with a very satisfied smile. I love also jaejoong practicing his english and he is doing it well- diction is ok! Yes its time to save money for the world tour might come near the “true north strong and true” ( part lyrics of the national anthem of Canada) 😀
Considering how fast Jaejoong got the first 5 songs together, considering how explosively popular his “I” album has been and will continue to be and considering the fact that the guys who worked with him on it are probably as excited as he is about having a ‘Hit album” on their resumes for a change, I think it might not be the worst idea to go BACK to the drawing board and write and record enough new songs to flesh out a real concert. Unless Kim Bada has other pressing concerns (???? I doubt it) I’m pretty sure he would make himself available. Please Jaejoong, consider this idea.
I really would love for JJ to work with Kim Bada in the future as well. He gave JJ some wonderful songs.

I think he has enough solo songs and compositions for the group that he can sing in a concert, let me count:

17) There’s Only You // You Filled Me Up, which i wonder why he didn’t perform at his concert, i really like it.
Anyways, so easily Jaejoong can have a concert with a min 17 original tracks, he can sing other songs by other artists & there you have it, so the reason that not enough songs for a solo concert doesn’t make sense.
I wish it’s your decision not to due to other coming projects, whatever the case, I will always support you.
You can also release a repackaged album with extra tracks as well.
Maybe we should tweet to Monica or Korean JJ fans as he reads most of his Korean fan sites.

Btw, can anyone tell me whether he wrote or composed ‘For you it’s goodbye, for me it’s waiting’? because I can’t get anything from Google search… And I also wonder why he didn’t sing ‘You Fill Me Up’… It’s such a lovely, feel-good song!
No, none of the songs the guys sung on SKKS OST were written or composed by them. Those songs were commissioned by the producers of the drama.

These were my thoughts exactly! Junsu interwove music from his own compositions, his OSTs, his musicals, and that became his playlist. Same principle applys with the list you’ve provided. 😉
I’m quite irritated with Cjes for not printing enough copies of JJ’s album. Many people left hanging, stores out of stock, overseas buyers had been told that the album isn’t available for undetermined time (including me!!). If there ‘s enough copies, this album would be stay on the top chart (hanteo, gaon etc) for much longer time !! \ (>_<) /
You can still buy his album from yesasia and dvdheaven. And I’m sure from other online stores too.
And because of not enough album copies… Maybe it is because the album is produced by a smaller distribution company. I’m sure as JJs album was made, A&C Modes produced cds for other artists at the same time too. We don’t know the capacity of the distribution company so maybe there are some restriction regarding the quantitiy of cd’s ??? I’m only guessing ^^””’
